Like slalom said, doing the bunker build does pretty good, too. I use Sheobix’s Juggermancer build found here:

With some support utilities and wells, I do very well in zergs to small groups. Although with 3700attack, you will not see big numbers. But with 1800 tough, 1700vit and health at 31k you will live longer and kill your foes with sustained damage.
Check out Sheobix’s Juggermancer build. It will help you stay alive longer while laying down some support for your allies(you may need to alter some utilities) and doing sustained damage with your allies.
Nothing really changed. Not much a necro can do in a 60-man mega zerg battling against another mega-zerg.
However, check out Sheobix’s Juggermancer Build
Bunker necros seem to be doing ok in WvW even now. 1vs1s are great. I’ve done 1vs2 and it’s 50% depending on situation/enemy skills/etc. 1v3s and up and you do live longer, but unless they are complete noobs you will die. In a group or zerg you may have to utilize a couple more support utilities. but with the other support from your allies you will hardly die at all while doing sustained damage. Not great damage. but it is sustained.
Hi Nemisis. First wanted to say that I’ve tried a few of your builds, sometimes with variants and love them all. However, After this last wvw patch, none of those are quite viable atm (except the fear build for the most part) as now when running with a group, that group is usually a zerg. Bleeds get drowned by a lot of other folks, and there isnt enough fears we do nor are they long enough even when traited.
Right now, I run with Sheobix’s JuggerMancer Build (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Juggermancer-Final-Blog-Link/page/6#post1480305) and seem to be doing great with it while running in groups/zergs. I have changed a couple of things around for a little more support, such as using 3 wells when charging into the fray.
Until the wXp wave dies down a bit, I dont see many build working too well except a support build while having some damage capability to add with your allies. Last night myself in a 12 man guild group help of several towers and keeps against zerglings. I stood at the front lines throwing down staff 2 (all the little healing does help some) and throwing everything else down that I could. As a juggermancer along with the support of fellow allies I never went down. Nor did they. We held good and hard. Think I’ll try your 6xFear build again and run with it awhile again, see how it does in those types of situations.
My reason why I’m posting this is to just also put in my two cents on the current state of WvW and necros and what we can do. Your Thoughts on this?
Aso, until this wave dies down a bit, I am really looking forward for your healing support build. Although Being a JuggerMancer keeps me alive 2-3 times longer while doing sustained damage, I would like to be able to keep up the rest of my allies laying down support. Can’t wait!
There are a lot of valid points here. I must admit last night I was on that Karma train, too. Yes, Loot bags! Yes, saving coin. Yes, lots of karma, etc etc. WvW Rank Points will come in time and this train WILL DIE down, but not all the way down.
A great valid plea from some of our players request wVp changes, such as getting wxp for escorting yaks, succesfully defending keeps/towers, etc. By not doing so, yes, it created the zerg train and has also created a major unbalanced playstyle for which WvW was not intended (or is it by Anet?). Last night, in the train, if i did not tag the Lord, I did not get a loot bag. If you fall behind, you will not get squat unless you are lucky enough to reach the circle in time. No rewards there in a mega-zerg. Yes, if you get in the circle, you will get that 300 wxp. But where is the fun in that where all you have to do is run and make sure you get there? Mindless.
Along with some changes that are needed with this new ranking system, I’d like to add yet another way of how folks in WvW can earn wxp:
Healer class builds .. if you are mostly healing and reviving, where is the wxp reward there? Of course, if you are lucky enough to tag a few enemies you may get something. But yet to see any wxp for actually doing SUPPORT for my fellow mates in battle. In a huge mega-zerg vs mega zerg I don’t have time to tag enemies. The most I can do is lay down support AoEs, and try to tag an enemy and start mashing auto-attack in order to help help healy my mates even more. Sure, it may help a few stay alive for another second or two, but either after wiping the enemy or we get wiped, I’m lucky to get one loot bag or three, maybe even a few wxp. (/sarc)That will get me my +5 to carry supply soon! (/sarc) Where’s the wxp for playing a support class?
There are MANY ways anet should look into as far as rebalancing WvW for wxp. This is just one. This madness will go one for some time until it dies down. But until this ranking system and the wxp gets a revamp, it will never die down to what it was like before.
Forget the minions. Every Team / Zerg needs a few of these.

Heya TC dood from yer guild [REST] … good job on shoing your maturity doing the stompy stomp dance on a downded DB player, DB BL S.Hills :P
Been keeping up to date with this thread and would like to see more info, comments etc coming in from the rest of the necros. Am leveling up a necro because this juggermancer build intrigues me. Was wondering if anyone with this build has any Vids mainly playing WvW? Would love to see this in action
