Yeah, fractal is easy to complete unless you got disconnected or hang. What do you need is not an exotic equipment or great skilled player but a great teamwork :p

All Razer Product that i used like Nostromo, Lycosa, and Imperator has a program that can modify command on button. Specially Nostromo, it’s a gamepad and you can customize all the button via software provided by Razer. One button can do many command at once. Is this Razer software and gamepad feature is third party software that forbidden on GW2 because it’s give me advantage that other’s player don’t ?

I’m asking for account appeal because i don’t understand why I got banned and I’ve still got no answer for my ticket, i asked them what name of the program ? so i can uninstall it and play again.The others that have same problem like me because you wrongly banned people is already unbanned, I don’t know what I need to do anymore. It’s been a week, and it’s suck waiting without any clear status like this.

My ticket even is not in your update list. Maybe when you wrongly terminate other people account like me, my priority just got to the bottom of the line because my money already on your pocket and there’s nothing i can do about it

According to the tickets, it’s 5 days, not 7. Now admittedly 5 days is still too long, but I am getting pretty confroozled by people’s math, where 2+3=10.

i post the ticket on 09/11/2012, but problems come’s up on 09/09/2012 if i don’t mistaken, sorry for my bad math because i count from when the problems come,s and beside that this problem make me can’t count right and it feels that long

That’s the problem’s they don’t kitten care about terminating their customer account without any clear reason because they already have 2 million copies sold. My ticket and complain has not getting any reply from their representative till now just an automated reply that state my account has terminated forever, they even didn’t explain what 3rd party application that they accused me for. They already making profit, and now they run with my money and doesn’t care for my problems as their customer. I’m already tired of this kitten. Please check my ticket 120911-009271 and fix it immediately !

They obviously have some method set up to check for specific activity specs and ban based on those results (most likely fairly automated). It’s also pretty obvious that eveyrone that was banned and is complaining here (possibly with cause) DID perform AFK activities that ANet considers BOTTING. Whether or not a warning or some time limit ban is appropriate for a first offense is ANet’s call (and I can see this being a point of argument with valid customers).

It also appears they are reviewing the complaints and reinstating accounts. If I were ANet and saw your posts (phoenixdot), I would make SURE you were the last guy reinstated as you are rude and demanding beyond what is just normal customer frustration or necissary to get your point across. Being civil (at least at first) is more likely to get you help than being a totalkitten (and you get less spit in your food too!).

I DO agree that the perma-ban is a bit harsh, but I think that if they start with a time limit ban, it is going to take longer for them to possitively identify actual player accounts and thus stop the actual hacked / BOT accounts. Yes, this ends up with actual customers having to jump thru hoops to get the service they have paid for, but it also sends a pretty strong message as to what ANet feels is BOT-like behavior (and they are serious about getting rid of it in the game).

I thought I was pretty rude and they unbanned me for third party use/botting last night. You can not judge someone solely based on a post. Most of these people as myself were frustrated because when you pay a lot of cash and then get banned for unsure reasons, well its understandable.

And as you can see (Brother Grimm.5176) before this, i write my thread and my post to asking them nicely why they accuse me with something that i didn’t do, but still no answer from their support or representative. This what make’s my patient grows thin. It’s like they avoiding my problems and doesn’t care at all.

You don’t feel what i feel
I already post my problem here, and it’s 4 day’s already and there’s no reply by their support or representative. I spent money to play this game, and they accuse me for something i didn’t do and banned or terminated my account just like this was a free game. This game is not cheap, if they terminated people account like this it’s like they stole people money.

Innocent or guilty, a week long suspension would make first time offenders a lot more cautious about making mistakes. I wish I would have given my nephew my Diablo 3 account info instead of my GW2, he can get that banned all he wants!

With over 2 million copies sold, I am really happy and surprised we have a head admin responding to our concerns. Hopefully if you are patient, and mature, something can be worked out, but I know it is frustrating, Guild Wars 2 is/was an amazing game.

Have faith in the Guild Wars team!

What make’s me really confuse is that they accuse me for using third party program and bot that i don’t use, and they even doesn’t email me for clarification, confirmation or warn or anything. Just banned me for unclear reason, and then left me with no explanation

What weird is, i do play BF3 and League of Legend, but i never see a company that do something like this. Banned people without warning, notification or confirmation is so outrageous.

If this continues, i will report this company to BBB.org for bad services and fraud against customers and i will post on another forum how the treat me. I have screen capture of the automated mail reply that came to my mail inbox that answer my disappointment.

Who are you really ? I got banned without any clear reason, and not get warning or notification. I hope you got banned too, so you can feel what customer feel when they get banned without a clear reason at all. Yeah i’m noob to all this MMO game because i play a lot FPS game, that’s why i asking them why i’m get banned and without a warning or notification. As you can see, when you buy a game, company did not banned their customer without prior notice or warn. If they did it, it same with the stole their customer money.

None, you just got terminated and no asking or clarification or warning or notification, just banned and left without support, when you sending a ticket an auto reply mail is what you got.

Even admin on this forum not showing up.

Those that abused the auto cast feature are exploiting an in-game function to simulate a bot, hence you are banned for botting. Their reason given for botting is probably generic, which would be why it says 3rd party program. If you actually think it’s okay to put something on auto cast with the full intention to get rewarded while afking events, enjoy your ban. Saying it’s an in-game feature is not an excuse. Your only chance of getting unbanned, is if they just happen to give everyone a pass again.

Those that didn’t afk auto cast, probably did something else, such as using a programmable keyboard. You might not think it, but using a keyboard macro to press multiple buttons is also considered automation, aka botting. This would be referred to as a 3rd party program.

In very rare cases, some people are banned without warrant. It usually takes a very long time, if ever, to resolve the ban because they at some point saw evidence showing you were automating something, when really, you were mimicking a bot-like play style.

If you think when a company banned people account suddenly because we use feature they offer without notice or warning is right then you’re wrong. Especially this game is not Free to Play game, we bought it with not a cheap price.

Even on any online game, people just not get banned immediately, they got warning message or account suspend with a clear reason so they can resolve what the problems is. This game is not a free to play, we pay for it. So banned without prior notification or warning is a little bit offending to a customer. Especially i don’t understand what 3rd party program and bot that they mean. I need an answer from GW2 representative for what program that’s on my computer that cause this banned.
Or this just how they do a business to banned other people account so they can sold more game to other customer because there’s empty slot on their server now after other get banned.

seeing a common theme in this thread

“… i was just afk with X skill on auto…”

the intention is clear

Skill on auto is on this game feature, you just need to cast it once on enemy and then it cast automatically or feature that change target if your cast hits another target. If you get banned for this, why put this feature on game ? Beside the reason is not that, but using third party program or bot that we do not use.

I want to ask, why on GW2 you just got banned without any warning or notification ?
As far as i know, on online game. We as gamer are usually get a warning or notification if doing a mistake like forget to log off a game, or leaving in the middle of battle. But on GW2 we just got banned immediately without any clear reason. And then when we send a email to a support, what we get is an automated reply that states our account was permanently terminated.

Is this how you treat your customer that pay for this expensive games ?
