Just because I think you guys would like to know this update… As they closed the support ticket, I send them another one with this text:

“As my bug with the storyline skipped still persists I send you another support ticket with more dat
My character name is Pulguixx, an asura elementalist now on level 63. I’ve done the quest “A meeting of the minds” with my boyfriend (an asura guradian) who was the story owner. He choose the Drumand priory organization, and I choose to advance my story to that point.
Then my story skipped to “On red Alert (level 48)”

Please, give me some feedback because this happened 2 weeks and I don’t know if it can be fixed, if my character is gonna have a rollback, if I’m gonna receive the xp and rewards or if it has no solution and I have to continue the story from this point. At least tell me and the other players that have the same bug something so we don’t feel that we and our issue is forgotten!!"

And today I received this:
“At this time we’re unable to make these kinds of adjustments to characters. I’m sorry that there’s not more that we can do in this case.

This happen to me also. Im a female norn and experience some voice audio missing from the cinematics in the quests:
- “A weapon of legend”
- “Disciples of the dragon”
- “Echoes of ages past”

My boyfriend tag along with me in this quests, he is a male charr and experienced the voice missing as well…

Furthermore, if I had not had the curiosity to check the support portal, I would have not known it had been closed recently. This is because unlike most support portals, theirs does not seem to give you an email entailing that “the support ticket you opened has been closed”. It wasn’t closed on their previous response, it was closed some time after that response (a response that was more or less generic, and no it wasn’t the beginning generic response that asks for a reply, we had gotten past that point).

This leads me to believe that many people who issued support tickets about this might have their issue closed as well, and should log in and open them because the issue has not been fixed. They have no way of knowing an issue still exists if it is closed, and thus no way to help you with your character because you basically do not exist on the list of things to do unless that support ticket is open. This is how Linden Labs operates, and I am -very- familiar with the process.

After reading your post I checked my support ticket and see that as been closed too. I’ve already send another, because this isn’t fixed and can’t be forgotten.

We demand at least some feedback from the staff who apparently is working on this. If it have no solution tell us that, so we can choose what to do! If it have, better. But tell us in wich point we are in! Keep us uptdated!

Tag along character (instance owner): Rroxx (Asura guardian 47)
Organization: Drumand priory
Quest before skip: A meeting of the mind (level 30)
Quest after skip: On red Alert (level 48)

I have the same problem, after chosing the order from my boyfriend storyline, mine jumped right to “On red alert” (asura), level 48.

Hope they fix this, I want to experience all the story plus the xp and rewards…
