Thanks.
Yeah but wont be leveling only by crafting as I will want to check out the amended story and complete some zones (eventually I will need to have 100% map completion on him…… yeah I’m one of those guys). Its mainly as I’ll be doing weaponsmith and armorsmith and am guessing it will take up a ton of materials to level them both.
I will need to be quick at leveling though as dont want to get left behind by my friend who will be playing one of his existing toons
I’ll be honest I’ve not played much gw2 for about a year however the expansion has enticed me back somewhat.
I kind of have my heart set on playing a Revenant so am wondering if its worth stockpiling mats etc to make it as easy as possible to level up my toon and profs come launch. Worth noting I’ve started a low level necro to start farming zones etc as I cant stomach playing any of my old toons.
Is it a bit early to be doing this do you think?
No no and no.
Stealth is one of the main mechanics in thief gameplay. It’s not as if its wow rogue territory of perma stealth. What next ban mesmer clones cause it let’s mesmers run away?
I was really struggling and getting bored with d/d glass cannon build, just hated waiting on cooldowns and being useless after the initial burst so switched to dagger/pistol 0/10/30/30/0………… It rocks.
Fights last sooo much longer but its great, most fun I’ve had on my Thief. Best thing about this build is you can roam freely and harrass small groups of opposition.
It seems to me a few of the legendary weapons seem rushed and to an extent subpar compared to others.
An idea would be arenanet open up the ‘theme’ of each weapon to other weapons, for example a twilight themed staff, sunrise themed dagger or a bolt themed shortbow …… you get the picture.
The way its currently done feels far too restrictive and leaves people will little choice if they absolutely hate the skins of the current ones on offer.
As an added question it would be useful to know will future legendary recipes use the mastery gift and fortune gift?
Cheers

First toon was a Ranger but hated being so reliant on pets who spent most of the time dead. Recently decided to roll a thief and loving every minute of it, its a much more challenging class to play due to survivability however I love the mechanics.
Currently only level 54 so looking forward to the push to 80
