I have no problems with my ISP, my firewall, or anything internet related, and it appears this only affects one of my characters, so this is clearly a problem on Anet’s side.

Answers would be welcome, or any hints on what we could do.

For the record, i already flushed my dns and restarted my modem.

I’ve been running a set of rune of exuberance for about 10 days on my guardian and i have to say it’s pretty underwhelming, i thought 3% of vitality added to precision and power could be huge with a PVT full set and 30 honor (for wvw), and well, it’s not, i’m about to change my set back to where it was before.

I’m pretty sad because i really thought i would love it, and that i’d finally get off the usual builds with this.
In the end i only gain about 30 (made up numbers i did not write them down but it should be pretty close) effective power and about 2% crit chance

If any other guardian has his experience to share too i’d be curious to see if they came to the same conculsion.

What we want the devs to do (and not ME alone, just look at the pletora of threads regarding this issues for the past year) is adress the questions that has been asked, and asked again for the past 9 months, either increase the drop rate / forge % or come up with the scavenger hunt they’ve been talking about for … yeah, also 9 months.

this thread has the sole purpose of making them notice this is getting out of hands… again, so we can have an answer to our questions.

But of course i doubt any of them will touch this subject, as usual.

Remember when Anet said they were gonna look into it when the precursors hit the 300 gold mark a few months back ?

We do love our open field fights a lot and this week is providing some really nice ones !

Sadly we are in a pve week on our server, everyone is farming like hell and we can’t get people to enter wvw, i mean, outmanned buff on EB in prime time is not something we are used to see !
Too bad cause we have some nice challengers, and are probably going to lose this one but heh, can’t win all the time right ?

Oh and regarding the cheating thief people reported us, we (at least 4 guilds on viz) massively reported him when we saw him earlier this week, let’s hope Anet drops a banhammer on him, sorry that you guys experienced this, please keep reporting them to us and we’ll do our best to see them banned, and rest assured we read your complains and try to act as soon as we identify them, let’s keep the fight clean.

Getting this error code again and again, never had this problem before, some news on your end would be appreciated

I know there was a guide on the guru forums but its quite old so it may not help you that much.

What i could suggest for sure, is start with the clovers.
When you fail to get clovers, you’ll get some stacks of T6 mats that will help you for your gifts of magic and might.

Always keep a look out on your map when you log in to check if the temple of balthazar is uncontested on your server so you can hop in and buy some shards (don’t forget you can also get shards from the vendor in FOTM for some FOTM tokens, i know i did cause i had way too many of those)

Conerning T6 mats the best way i found was (sadly) farming some orr for heavy moldy bags, but you could also (and someone might confirm this) farm some gold instead in dungeons and then buy your T6.

I just checked the predator’s recipe and its definitly one of the cheapest i saw yet, the wood is dirt cheap, the lodestones are ok (imagine i had to get 100 charged lodestones at 3g10s each).
You need a gift of knowledge so you’ll get some charged cores, they sell for quite a bit.

So :
- start with your clovers and stack on shards
- get your gift of knowledge and sell the cores you get in the process for some extra cash
- either farm T6 mats or farm dungeons for cash

well, its not an ideal list but hey, thats a start

I’ve been stuck on loading screens in cursed shores and in LA, if by miracle i’m allowed in, i get kicked out of the game after a few minutes (or even seconds) so the problem is not only occuring in metrica. I’ve also read people reporting the same bug in queensdale.
It’s been like that for the last 6 hours.

I crafted mine last week and i couldn’t be happier, i worked hard for it and the model is awesome.

But, i have to agree with the OP, Meteorlogicus definitly needs some footprints.
How hard can it be ? they already have the code for the footprints system, just pick a kitten footprint color and add it to the game… it would take a developper what ? 5/10 minutes ?
If, as the post before mine suggested, they don’t want to add footprints, i would expect at least an aura or anything that would show that YES, this is a legendary weapon in my hand, not some exotic i could have bought for 5g’s on the TP.
(althought i would prefer footprints)

Crafting this legendary weapon takes as long as any other,and the need for charged lodestones makes it one of the most expensive, why would we be stuck with a sub par effect ?

I also agree with some other posts in here, the minstrel for exemple needs some love too.

I would go the the opposite way. Completely.

i HATE, emphasis on HATE, the “retreat” and “save yourselves” shouts on my female guardian, i hate them so much i’m considering running a meditation build or anything else that would make her shut the hell up.
It sounds forced and stupid, very badly acted, and overall iritating.

I am fine with hold the line and stand your ground.

great, so here we go :
You killed the ranger class, we were waiting for this patch because of the supposed buff our class would get, guess what ? You did not deliver, as usual.

The population of ranger will now be 95% of bots running around like headless chickens, while we, formerly known as “ranger” will play another class because you obviously did not want us to keep playing our main characters.

So here we come warriors, i never wanted nor intended to play one, but it is now the only and best ranged class, so we don’t have a choice now do we ?

500+ hours played with my ranger, and like the vast majority of players, i will now stop playing it, because yes, we were patient enough to wait 3 month to get some fixes and buffs to the most broken class in the game, yet when you see no rangers in sPvP beeing played, nothing came to your mind.

The promess of a bright future was announced before this patch and we were eagerly waiting for it, knowing it will make or break our beloved class, and you broke it.

now move along and be like the rest of the player base people, play warrior, because this game was clearly designed for them, with their legendaries that do not look like they came out of a ‘my little poney’ episode, and their ranged weapons with a better gameplay / damage / utilities / ‘insert any quality here because rangers suck at ranged combat’

So long, promesses of a viable use for melee weapons, spirits, support and more, so long stupid pets, farewell my love, time to play something else.

Thank you Anet, there will be one less ranger played in this game, it will sit on a shelf after 500+ hours.

- Ranger is now called “Aquaman”
- Your ranger will not be played anymore
- Your main class is now guardian / warrior
- Warriors are now called “warangers” because yes, they own in range fights way more than your ranged class

Thx Anet, my ranger will now sit on a shelf, after 500+ hours played, this patch was ridiculous, what a joke.

I am unable to login with my main character, the Lion’s Arch loading screen just loads… forever.
I can’t provide an error number because i do not have any, it’s just the loading screen that is stuck, waited for about 15 mins and nothing happens.

I can login with my other characters.

I need some help, thanx.
