Is you’re game minimizing from full screen mode and you can’t figure out why? Are you running two or multiple monitors? Is your game just minimizing, not crashing, for no apparent reason? After months of frustration and deleting applications, killing windows services and processes, and posted the question to Arenanet that did not help.

Try this, ….even though you’re in full screen mode, with some equipment set ups, it is possible to accidentally mouse out of the active full screen page at the edge of the monitor, and if you click, your game will minimize, just as if you hit “Alt Tab” to minimize on purpose. And it will always happen when your in a battle, of course. Not sure if its a Windows 7 or an Nvida issue, but try disconnecting your second monitor (worked for me), or set the windows multiple display set up with an orientation such they are corner to corner instead of side to side and sharing the same screen boarder (haven’t tried that fix yet).

Same problem. Game “tabs out” randomly and unexpectedly durring game play.
