In a nutshell: kegs that have been eaten by the wurm will trigger placed kegs to despawn

Kegs placed at cobalt will despawn after 2 minutes if a vet wurm doesn’t make them explode. Once the wurm eats the kegs however this despawn timer set for each keg is not canceled however, so once 2 minutes have elapsed a keg that has been placed will then despawn before its own 2 minute timer is up. This can lead to some rather farcical situations where the zerg starts placing kegs, has nearly enough down only to suddenly be sitting at zero kegs. While strategies have been developed to work around this, it remains a hidden mechanic that greatly hinders the ability of inexperienced players to complete the boss. This behavior is so obscure that I have even run into experienced members of wurm guilds who had no clue how it works.

SoV is an evil gaming guild founded in January of 2000 on the multiplayer online roleplaying game (MORPG) Well of Souls, and we are now recruiting in any game, but more specifically we play: Guild Wars 2, League of Legends, Rappelz and Neverwinter. In the past we have played Well of Souls, Gunbound World Champion, Gunz the Duel, Rappelz, League of Legends, and Starcraft 2. SoV is an elite guild, so we maintain a set of high standards for our members and aspiring petitioners.

We are also one of only a handful of guilds run completely democratically, with elections every six months or whenever a previous leader may step down. All members share equal rights and have equal say in guild decisions and debate. And unlike other guilds you may find, we have proven to make this work, for years.

Having existed for so long, SoV has accumulated a vast history and lore with all sorts of stories, as well as several rivals and enemies. There are tales of treachery, corruption, greed, heroism, ravaging wars, loyalty, raging love, and many other things.

Our community at times has exceeded thousands of members, with dozens of active members at any given time, for any given branch. Our combined forums have had a total of over 500,000 posts in our time of existence, with our current forums having over 300,000 posts.

We also offer guides to help give players the edge in game. Currently we have dozens of proprietary guides in private areas of our forums, reserved for our members.

Petitioning may sound difficult, but it isn’t that hard! When you have petitioned and meet the requirements (so many people voting for you) you will be accepted! The average member who will vote on your petition is worth 2 points, and SoV has many, many members, so if you want their vote, you will most likely have to contact them. Put some effort in your petition, and it’ll be worth every second of it.
