Is this only for Asurans?

So I’ve had this idea for a while for GW and I’d like some feed back. As much as I love GW I find Crafting to a bit lacking, it’s great to make your own stuff with stats you want, its great you get Exp for doing it, and the discovery system is great, but I feel like it’s lacking.

So here is my suggestion/idea, like how a Character has their Personal Story, why not create a set of missions/quests based around crafting and become a true master of the trade. It could have rewards for new kinds of recipes, rare crafting materials, karma, experience ect.

Of course this is a new way to add a different storyline, new npc characters and of course new crafts.

Now, I’m sure I’ll get a lot of disagreement from people on this, but I have never been a fan of how people usually just buy items to complete quests in other games. So to prevent this a system to create a “Tag” or “Signature” on an item that is crafted by a player, or looted from enemies to that character. Once the item is traded or sold the “Tag”/"Signature is deleted, and is not usable for the quest.

I would like some feed back on how this could be a better idea, as I"m writing this just after work.

I don’t feel like it should be removed, I have a full set of MF that I use, but only when I’m farming for items. Otherwise I’m maxing out my characters stats as much as possible.

Peronally I don’t see why people can’t invest in two builds or more for their character(Expensive, yet but it has many advantages). I’m still working on getting Exotic and maxing my stats, but depending on the scenario I will use different gear for PvE, Dailies, World Bosses, Dungeons, Farming and WvW as I find appropriate to my style.

I say just get used to it, it’s a system there that you can either ignore and just go with base loot rolls or take advantage of to stack the odds a little more in your favor.

I am looking for an active, easy going guild on the Black Gate Server. I like to focus on PVE events, dungeons, Personal Story missions and the like. I would love to join a guild that is fun, easy going and helpful.

My main is a 75 Theif.

Eventually I would like to take part in WvWvW and PvP with a guild. I only play at night on the weekdays and rarely on weekends. I would need a guild that is flexable with their members play times as I attend both College and Work full time.
