I am curious what percentage of GW2 players
1) Actually try the raids.
2) Are successful.
And if (what I believe) those very small percentages are actually what was intended/desired by ANet. I suppose the raids serve their purpose but they do seem like overrated boss fights.

The idea that the ascended drop rate is the same as before HoT seems crazy to me. That or there is a bug that only effects some people. I don’t have a nice spreadsheet like above (started one after seeing that) but for myself, I used to get 1-2 chests per week doing a daily 49/50. (single fractal) Since the Patch, I’ve gotten maybe 2 (1 was from a recommended daily 19). Speaking with others they have had similar experiences. Though I have heard that some people are getting good/similar drops. Many others are getting garbage. That and doing higher level fractals (>=90) doesn’t seem to improve your chances by much if at all. Definitely not worth the increase in time. I’m curious how the spreadsheet was generated. I’m assuming it is across multiple people based on the numbers. I will say that for the first week post patch the numbers seemed decent but since then it has been barren. Either way, keeping detailed track of the chests now so that it is more precise. Maybe my RNG is in a lull.

Regarding the armor sets. I’m glad I’m not a new player having to craft from scratch.

Fractal Master achievement does not list all the weapons I actually have in my wardrobe preventing getting the achievement. Additionally, unless there are no comments regarding fractals in this forum, the search feature does not work.

So you can argue about the price being to high or just right. Based on the content described it seems inflated. The thing that irritates me is that they are willing to give new players the game with five fresh new character slots but if you are a current player, you have to either buy Gems to get an extra slot for the new class or pay an extra $25.00. Would it really hurt the bottom line that much to include one if you already have the game. I don’t think so. Yes, I will probably fork out the cash for the expansion. But for those I know who play, don’t expect to see Gem cards on your birthday or in your Christmas stockings anymore.

You can get out of the well. There are ledges on the side that you can jump on. Not that it helps.

I agree that it is 50% off the unit price however as others have stated, gems cost 50% more gold than they did a week ago so there is really no savings unless you bought gems a week ago anticipating the sale before it was announced.
