I get around 45-70 fps, on swtor I played at medium to low settings and got average of like 40-60 fps depending on the area.

do you by any chance have AVG anti-virus? because if you do try disableing the protection from it and see if it solves the problem if you don’t have AVG try disableing what ever other anti virus you have, this exact problem happened to em and disableing AVG solved the problem

I would make sure that your drivers are up to date and installed cleanly.
Other than that I am sure that you will not get help from tech support without submitting a ticket.

my drivers are up to date, and I most likely will be submitting a support ticket

getting a black screen randomly between 5min-2 hours I have tried pretty much everything processor AMD fx 8120 eight core processor graphics card AMD ASUS HD 7670 I play with some settings at medium and the rest at low, vsync on and 60hz usually get around 40-60 fps been having this issue for a while with no fix, and it seems like a lot of people are, so hopefully anet can help out or do something about it, my router is a netgear router and I heard that can cause problems but that’s all I know, I used to play gw2 like 6 months ago without this issue but then I took a break, and know when I want play again im getting random black screens, I really need help with this issue, thanks.

You didn’t note if you tried to delete the local.dat file (my documents/guild wars 2).

Also, try restarting your modem/router.

tried deleting local.dat file did not work going to try restarting router/modem will get back to you on If it worked

restarting modem/router did not work.

after a little while of playing 10min – 2 hours I will get a black screen crash I can hear some sounds in the background and can move the mouse around but that’s it, I have to alt tab and close gw2 and reboot it. I have a radeon hd 7750, I think the problem might be overheating but im not sure cpu is going up to like 68c and gpu is going up to 60c, if it is overheating what can I do to fix this problem I play bf3, skyrim, gta4 etc.. without any issues but for some reason gw2 black screens randomly, things I have tried to do to fix the black screen issue are

enabling vsnc
turning on frame limiter
turning graphics settings down
putting refresh rate to 60hz
disabling antivirus
changing in game resoulution
changing anti aliasing in cata control center to use application settings
downloading the latest drivers
deleting the gw2 cache folder
updating to windows to service pack 1
tried deleting local.dat file

none of these fixes worked for me, I have also heard of another fix where you have to do something with your router/modem but im not sure how to try that fix, can someone please help me I really want to play gw2 with my friends but this is making it very hard to, can someone please help, and If this is an issue with the game arena net please fix this, also something I forgot to mention is that like 3-7 months ago( cant remember exactly) I used to play gw2 on this same computer,( no changes have been made to this pc) and I didn’t have this issue, and know all of a sudden when I want to start playing again im getting random black screens, someone please help.

I really need help with this when ever I am playing GW2 I will randomly get a black screen but I can still hear the music, and I am forced to close GW2 and re-launch it, it sometimes happens within 2 minutes of playing and sometimes within 15 minutes, I really want to fix this issue and have look at a lot of ways to possibly fix this and none of them have worked, I have tried downloading the Microsoft updates, updating to the latest drivers, and plenty of other little fixes, like turning down my graphic settings, turning vsync on etc.. I run the game with medium settings most of the time and get around 60 fps, my graphics card is a AMd ASUS HD 7670 series, my processor is a AMD FX™ – 8120 eight core processor 3.10 ghz, please someone help.
