i know that this was answered a lot of times but just want to confirm if this reason/idea is what made me not play that much…i really want to get back into the game but theres something that holds me back from playing…if only i didnt buy the game and spend some gems i could just move on that easily(i know that was a dumb move for me buying the game even though its semi ftp,i really dont know why i gave in to my impulse in buying the game, i only played for 2 mnths and nver played again and cant get a refund already)
question is pve and pvp are really separate right? no point of using the same toon for pve to pvp?(lets just forget first about the character limit and lets just say i could create toons w/o limit) i mean theres nothing in pve that i could get/do for pvp?and no point of lvling a pvp toon?
if these are yes,then i really need to change my mindset to play the game again..

Sorry im new here and forgot to screenshot…cuz I was doing pvp when this happened..and I will do the proper thing to do next time.
Doing pvp: battle of champion’s dusk.
At the start of the game, I rushed into the enemies outer gate to kill their guards. I killed them successfully but a enemy ranger showed up. We had a little skirmish until my back was against the outer gate’s pillar(the right side if you are looking at the gate from the catapult) he then did a point blank shot with his long bow and the blow caused my toon to enter the pillar. Im literally inside the pillar. I cant even get out but still I could do damage to the players outside(using flamethrower) and they too could do the same but with only some skills(not with the AA/1 skill). so during the whole game Im inside that pillar. I asked everyone how to unstuck or told the enemy to kill me but no one noticed/replied to me until one of my enemy finally noticed me and did some barrage of skills that finally killed me and I properly respawned (but they were already at our boss, and we only damaged their outer gate).
Im an asura by the way if that matters….

Im new here and occasionally I have questions about the game..I just decided to create this thread for me so I will not create a new one every time I have questions.

First question:
I started in Metrica Province…should I clear Caledon Forest next or go straight to Brisban Wildlands?
how you guys did it?

Second Question:
Im an engineer…I know that whatever sigil I have in my weap, the effect does apply still while using flamethrower. the questions is what about the damage? does the weapon strength have a factor for the flamethrower damage?

Before asking my real question, is there any place where to post quick questions? cuz sometimes I have questions that could be answered easily and I dont want to take up some space in the forum. Is there any place for this matter?

So my real query:
So I just started playing and for a week now I never get past level 11. this is because I keep on trying to find what class I want to main. Cuz sometimes I find a class I want but then keep on thinking if that class is suited for pvp. So I just found out yesterday that in pvp..everything is balanced(I mean everyone is in the same level and all skills unlocked.).So does this mean there is no point of leveling a character that was intended just for pvp? Like unlike other mmos that you grind and level up your toon in pve for pvp. Or is there any reward/purpose to use a pvp intended toon in pve?
