Ah well fair enough, but yeah spending karma more frequently will avoid 30 minutes of clicking. Also like I said I agree there should be a mass purchase option. Although ( unless you were exaggerating ) how could you not know about the items you could purchase with karma? I mean to get 1 million karma means you have been playing for a while now. I knew you could spend karma at Karma vendors all over the world with in the first week of playing.

I knew about the items, but not about the Jewelry Boxes which are only sold by Orrian karma vendors, and I rarely visit those zones.

It’s not just for the karma boxes, but for the various bags/sacks as well.

Besides, I have only recently realized there was this option. Before that I had no idea what to do with my karma.

So, here’s the story:
Today I’ve decided to get rid of my 1 million karma, by going to a karma vendor and purchasing orrian jewelery boxes. Gosh, that was one horrible idea, I thought after I was halfway done.
It took me about 30 minutes of restless clicking to finally burn though all the karma, and all the new karma pots I’ve got from the boxes. I hate those, especially the little ones (that only give 400 karma without the booster).

So, what I’m asking for?

An option to mass purchase items from NPC
Purchasing all the hundreds of boxes was horrible. There should be some sort of option to purchase X amount of items from an NPC shop instead of having to double click for every purchase.

An option for mass opening of boxes/bags
Whoever came up with the idea to create these abominations that are only any good if opened in masses is either a sadist, or a masochist. Seriously…
There should be an “Open all” option when right-clicking a bag/box item.

How it should work?
The system should open them one by one until the player’s inventory is full, then it should stop, so the player can empty his/her bags and open the remainder bags if there’s any.

Mass consume option for Karma potions
A right click option to use them all. Perhaps with a confirmation window.

That is all I wanted to ask for. My left mouse button and my pointer finger would really apprechiate it.

Well, I have finally got my ban lifted after about 2 days. Good luck to all of you who are still waiting for their tickets to be answered! I hope you all get to play again as fast as possible!

Had the same thing retek + a confirmation that my info was received yesterday. Been waiting since then without a response. Soon going into my fourth ticket day. Counting those 4 days I’ve had the game for 7 days ! YAY. Total played time so far is about 6 hours before my account got banned because of “Account Issues”. Great start ._.

Back on topic, well it’s unlikely that they roll it back, but the at least they should give some kind of compensation for their victims. Something like 500 gems would at least help people get over this a bit quicker.

An update on my status:

My ticket was just updated. They asked for more information, including the e-mail adress the account is attached to, 25 digit serial number and display name.

If the game is purchased via guildwars2.com, they also ask for last 4 digit of credit card, zip code and order id.

I’d recomment updating your tickets with those information for faster restoration.

Waiting for their second reply atm.

Edit: On the e-mail part they also ask if you want to change it, if yes, you have to include the new e-mail, if no, then simply say that you don’t want an e-mail change and write the current e-mail.

Day 2: Not a single sign of care for my ticket so far. Still waiting patiently.

You sure, because at least 3 bots in my friends list with names like (jklznmv) disappeared the day after I reported them, and reappeared about 3 days later.

And have now been on Frostgorge Sound for about a week.

Well, I also got an unrightful ban, and now I am waiting for the customer support to reply my ticket, but the message I get upon trying to login states that the ban for botting is permanent.

You misunderstood. The ban for botting is permanent. However, those who are banned wrongly can connect the support team and get their unrightful ban lifted, but the response takes at least 2 days.

With all due respect, sir… Those who got hit by the banhammers wide AoE range innocently, including myself may have a hard time believing that.
I’m not saying that you lie, and no offense is intended, but the proccess of banning bots has to improve a lot! You can’t just go lift your banhammer left and right and ban everyone you think is a bot.
I understand that it was not intended, but you know what they say… Upset people are gonna be upset, so forgive me for that!

I opened a ticket but I feel a little angry ‘cause I’ve done nothing wrong you know…
I play online games for like 15 years and never got banned but now :P
I think that mods have to do something with auto-bans… it’s not fair…

All we can do is wait patiently. I was never banned either before this time.

Once I get this resolved I’ll be extra careful when I decide to go out for some farmin’… Going near bots is apparently dangerous, as they may carry some sort of disease that gets you banned.

If you haven’t done anything questionable, then chances are you’ve been banned for afking with a pet out or autocast on during an event at some point in time.

Well, for a few days in a row I’ve spent about 20-30 minutes each day around the Jumping Puzzle area in Frostgorge hunting for Grawls, gathering and doing the nearby events and completing my daily.

After that I headed to WvW and stayed there for some hours each day, so it’s kinda weird.

And I’m a warrior so it can’t be my pet.

maybe this is helpful but i noticed quite a few ppl saying that their entire parties got baned at same time while being in the party… this is definetly something to look into while reviewing baning process by anet.

btw, really weird to have this happening after 7 years of flawless game support. i am not alone in this situation and it is realy kind of dissapointing and am wondering who else from my closest friends list will get the same experience… for now we have 1 hacked acc and 2 bans…

Are you under the impression that parties don’t bot? If they were banned for botting, it’s entirely possible that this is what the entire party was doing because yes, botters do join guilds, do form or join parties, and do everything they can to avoid detection. It doesn’t work, but they try.

If we encounter bots in our path of questing / farming should we head the other way as quickly as possible? if they get detected then anyone in the radius will get snagged.

Perhaps the banhammer they use just happens to have a wide AoE radius.

Anyway, I was banned for botting too 20 minutes ago. I’ve sent my ticket, and decided to join the conversation going on here!

Well, I am not. Well, I can’t prove it here on the forums, nor can you prove the opposite.
Anyway, accusing me wont really help anyone here. I’ve already sent my ticket and waiting to get it resolved. patiently

I’m just sayin’ that they should rethink the process of these kinds of bans, instead of just storming in, throwing banhammers on everyone.

I already contacted them, this is just a rant.

By the way, the funny part is that in the past few days I reported like a ton of bots and this is how they thank me.

So yeah, today I was farming Grawl in Frostgorge, when suddenly without any prior warning I was kicked out of the game, and when I tried to log back in I was banned for botting.

Yeah, like… Thanks a lot…

Seriously, why do they just storm in and ban everyone in a bot infested area? They didn’t even ask me if I’m a bot or not. Like seriously, the player might be in fact actually just be there farming.

So yeah, this post is a sort of rant to express how upset I am now.
