I’m leveling cooking with an alt and I need butter. I remember it dropped of humans but know there is everything else except butter . After farming on the human starting area for 1 hour where the bandits are I have only 15 butter. Where can I find some ?

560ti 448 …that’s what I have with a i5 processor (normal speed), 16 gigs of Memory and a SSD for windows 8 and gw2 rest of the files are in a 500gb cuda HD. Very medium low end computer .and no problem plating GW2 ..thinking of waiting for the 700 series of NVidia to get here ..if you have cash get the gtx 560ti or high end 500 series cards ..and skip to 700 when they come out ..I had a lot of problems running intel and AMD cards ..(just my bad luck I guess). I always use the newest beta drivers for my NVidia cards ..

I think Anet needs to implement build swapping because you need one build for teams, one for pvp, one for pve , one for wvwvw ..etc etc etc …you cant have a one shoe fits all built. they need to give us the players an option to swap without penalty between builds depending on situation ..pve, pvp, wvwvw.

Yea it seems other classes who are not plate users have an escape skill except the guys who hit less and run slow aka ..necros lol …we either need better temp armor skills (10 secs lol) or a “ride the shadows button” lol or “invisible skill”… although the rangers have the same problem when someone hits their pet ..this intended bug needs to go ..or slow the pet and not the owner kind of a thing ..

Hats off for you Dylninja …I need to try that axe/focus thing ..I seen axe dagger or horn but not focus ..we need more builds … for offence wvwvw ..

Same here ..on researching for necro’s to see how to level it and what will i use on upper levels Necros dont seem to fall into any thing for legendary wepons ..staff maybe for range spells but none of the others kind of fit ..I’m beginning to think that necros will benefit more from food/sigils/ and the other ones ..you know everything except what is in your hand …

can you post your build Eviator ?

Dont have a high necro but at lower levels is more hard to survive than any other profession single target damage and self healing spells need a bump…

Mesmers , eles and thiefs are what you see most in the wvwvw but ..recently I deleted a character to start a necro and I’m convinced that necro’s can wreck a big party if they group together to do mass conditions and dots while others do the face to face combat is the little things that count in that big mess of combat situation ..lol ..im still low level but I have fun on EB so far ..and i survive more than my other characters ..cant wait for upper levels …and no .. i dont use pets …pure aoe’s/single target debuffings/pulling (love that) …Elementalist my other character is good ..good damage but ..to many button jumping to do damage I do like the healing spells on them ..wish they where better …

I use staff for the aoe’s on groups ..single target I switch between axe/dagger scepter/focus .. Still sometimes I think I survive more with staff in close combat than any other wepon ..I been recently using dagger/dagger and the first 3 are ok but maybe I will give the dagger/horn or focus a try …I still cant find a necro guide that tells me how to level it and how to spec or respec. every 10 levels or so …

I guess I hit the tailoring first since the armor prices keep going up and the quest leveling monetary compensation sucks and is not enough to get a full outfit ..saving the karma for amulets and other small stuff..like tailoring recipes ..thanks for the replies …

I’m looking to start crafting have a bunch of materials just seating there for traveling harvesting etc etc. Just want to know what is the best crafting for Necros. Are some more important that others because of legendary crafting ? etc etc etc I use mostly scepter/dagger and staff ..

Is there a post or guide for rangers on where to put the points and what skills to use according to spec ? ..I’m still low (36) and I have not put many skills to use because I don’t want to use them and then regret the decision. I love using the short bow I need a spec for short bow …and 2xaxes or sword and horn ..combo ..

I’m a very casual gamer …very casual (about 25 hrs a month if lucky). The ranger has been the most fun character I have played with. It is easy to level up (I’m 36 currently) despite the lack of hours . In pvp well thats other story I tried the group pvp and the WvWvW pvp ..and it lacks the firepower to compete well …warriors, thiefs, mesmers, elementalist and even the engineer are better for the pvp areas. But pve rangers are fine. But it does get boring after all the quest grinding. I have killed players on pvp. The wounded and running ones ..lol can’t escape me and my short bow and cat lol and the ones i finish off first in a group lol. I learned that pvp as a ranger is about being openly stealth. Moving , zigzagging inside a group. Never standing still. The ranger for me is more fun that even my guardian that is about 6 levels up. The elementalist is the other profession im leveling up but is hard pve and easy to pvp lol ..kind of the reverse of ranger lol..
