So the new ladder is cool, but it doesn’t always reflect skill accurately. As long as your average points per match is positive you can grind your way to rank 1. My solution to this is to divide players into different leagues based on mmr. The Reason as to why people didn’t like the old leaderboard was because you could get a lucky win streak and stop playing when you are ranked high.

At the beginning of the season players would be placed into leagues (bronze, silver, gold etc.) based on mmr. If a player hadn’t played much pvp before they would have to play 20 matches to get accurate mmr. During the season players’ mmr would be adjusted but their league wouldn’t. Players would be ranked in their own league using the current point system. At the end of the season players at the top of their own league would be rewarded (higher leagues get better rewards). This gives players an incentive to improve their skill (to get to a better league) and also to play a lot of matches so they will be rewarded at the end of the season. Matchmaking would work the same way as it does currently.

Bring pause to GW2 for event.

This feature should be custom arena only and the owner of the arena can give people permission to pause with a command. When the game is paused the game timer stops and everyone stops moving, skill cast times and buffs freeze.

Reasons as to why skyhammer should be removed from solo q:

1. Its buggy. Sometimes when i go through the portal it doesnt work and i still get the debuff. Sometimes I dont die when i fall to the bottom. Shadow stepping over the panels doesnt work properly. Sometimes the jump pads dont work.

2. Skyhammer builds dont require much skill. Pulling someone from stealth is easy and its impossible to counter. In addition to this swapping builds is awkward. Many people have made new characters specifically for skyhammer.

3. There is no counter play if youre being targeted by the hammer. All you can do is pop your invulnerabilities or run away. In kyhlo you can at least dodge the trebuchet shots.

Hello, here are some ideas for horizontal progression i came up with:
Colored titles
Make titles have colors like item rarity (white, blue… pink, purple). This would actually make rarer titles mean something and make them a better goal for players to work towards. A legendary title should be really difficult to get.
More emotes
Like the zaishen emote in Guild Wars 1. As you keep progressing your emote gets upgraded to look cooler.
New rune sets
Like runes of perplexity, but account bound. Add ascended runes for pve? (They dont need to be better than exotic they could just have a visual effect)
Dungeon progression
Right now you can do all the dungeons whenever you want to. If the dungeons were gated from easiest to most difficult there would be more incentive for players to do all the dungeons.

Agreed, it would fit perfectly in the my story tab. Would be awesome if it was voice acted, but thats never ever going to happen. Ever.

Ok, so I just got the greatest idea ever. Basically whenever you talk to a scout in-game you receive a journal for the area youre in. When you complete events in the area a new journal entry will be created about what you did. When you have completed a journal you can give it to a npc for rewards.

This way its easier to understand lore and I think it works well with the dynamic event™ system. Please tell me what you think, thanks for reading.
