Hello Everyone!
Dance Machine [DMAC] is currently recruiting all classes and levels! We are a small (read: currently tiny) group of (3) friends. We love all aspects of the game, but sometimes wish we had more guild-mates to group for PvE, Dungeons, WvW, SPvP, and other shenanigans.
We are mature, 21+ and would prefer the same from new members.
Our current mains are:
80 Warrior
80 Thief
80 Mesmer
We have a private Mumble server set up. We are adults and real-life friends, so the occasional expletive can be expected, but we don’t necessarily cuss like sailors (most of the time!). We enjoy all aspects of the game, and aren’t currently focused on anything particular. We fight, we dance, and we laugh our faces off on a regular basis. Our most important goal is to have fun!
Current Guild Upgrades (tough with 3 members!):
Politics III
AoW II
Architecture II (working on guild stash.)
We don’t currently have a website/forums, but if the need arises in the future, I will hook that up.
TLDR:
Small, fun, casual group seeks more for PvX shenanigans. PM, reply, or add rogueprocess.2614 in-game and hit me up!
Thanks, and have a nice day!

Bizzzump…
…and all that good stuff.
I’d like to add that a server transfer (US) for the right guild is not out of the question. We are happy on Blackgate, but would be willing to move for the right guild.
Skritt and Quaggan!
Woooooo!
Title says it all really, but here is some more info…
All 3 of us are MMO vets. We gravitate towards smaller guilds where the quality of players is much more important than the quantity. We want to explore GW2 as much as possible, in all aspects. Up until now, we have just been running together as a guild of 3 (Dance Machine [DMAC]) but are interested in joining a small-to-medium sized force to take our gameplay to the next level!
Our current Mains:
80 Charr Warrior
80 Charr Thief
80 Asura Mesmer
We are mature (in the sometimes 30 going on 13 kind of way), active, fun, casual types and are looking for the same qualities in guildmates. We have busy work and personal lives, but always find time to group up and get our game on!
We have a private Mumble server currently (which we could donate to the guild-cause if needed), but are fine with any form of voice comms your guild might use. Please reply here, PM, or friend me in-game at rogueprocess.2614 and hit me up!
Thanks, and have a nice day!

Authenticator Questions/Concerns [merged]
in Account & Technical Support

Game is not asking for Authenticator code anymore after yesterdays update.
Im having the same problem
Same here. I have un-linked an linked again, no joy. Website nor game is requesting codes.
My Charr is named Goresnarl. He’s short, and mean, and resembles a Hyena. He’s a warrior, and swings two big swords! :-P
36 and I’m in love with the game! Best MMO since vanilla WoW or maybe pre-cu SWG! I’m not comparing them as games, only as a timeline.
Planetside 2 is horrible, at the moment anyways. It might as well still be in Alpha. I’m a fan of the first game, but it is just bad…
To each his own. Have fun.
Your title says RACE. So, I would have to say Skritt! That would be epic.
I rebind A and D to strafing and turn using the mouse.
I also use an n52te, so all my movement is controlled by my thumb. This leaves my other fingers free for skill keybinds, weapon swapping etc, and means that strafing while using skills is easy.
If I need more keybinds than is available on the n52te, then I use key modifiers (Ctrl, Alt, Shift). The modifiers are bound to my mouse buttons 4, 5 and 6.
Game default settings are always very poorly thought out. I never use them.
I also use a n52te in my setup, but a bit differently. I use mouse + right button for steering/look. Normal WASD setup for movement on the n52te, but remapped A+D for strafing. On the n52te, I use the d-pad (removed analog stick) for the 1-4 skills. This means I can circle-strafe and use my thumb for 1-4, simultaneously. The 5-10 skills are on the n52te keys in a logical order around the WASD keys. I dodge with a side mouse button, and my middle mouse button is my Shift modifer (which is used in conjunction with 1-4 for my F1, etc. style attacks.)
I also have weapon-swap, auto-run, targeting, call target, take target, walk toggle, inventory, map, hero panel, WvW, mail, guild, BLTP, and social on the n52te. With just one modifier (Shift in my case), you can do a lot with this little gem of a gaming keypad.
This may seem like a very odd setup to many, but I have used it (usually in a very similar format) in all the (many) MMO’s I’ve played. Always with great success.
My 0.02 copper.
Personally, I think it’s the worst looking Warrior adrenaline skill in the game. It just doesn’t do anything for me. No sense of power, just waving my arm around like a crazy person..
or maybe a wacky waving inflatable tube man.
I can see why it may be a bit confusing for the brand-new player. Being thrust into conflict right away may come to a shock to some. But in actuality, it’s a tutorial. I think it’s there way to show you how combat basically works right off. It is after all, what you’re going to be doing a lot of the time.
The game certainly doesn’t hold your hand, which makes you try things for yourself. I find it intuitive personally. They want you to figure some things out for yourself, and if you really do get stuck, there are means to find an answer both in-game and out.
I’ve played since BW1 and had the game pretty well figured out (the big picture stuff) in an afternoon.
