I find that its pretty good when team fighting and okay for bunking but not for long periods. Don’t pick a fight 1v1.
What do people think? Is it an okay alternative post-patch?
maybe it depends on build and armortype. I’m a thief and I take damage very very fast. justiciar kills me with 2 attacks, even the adds hit hard when they go for me, I keep my distance using P/P 3 and it’s the only way I could kill her, but took some time and deaths. didn’t manage to kill the last one, waaaaay too many adds and stones. how are we suposed to do it solo when we die wih 2-3 hits from enemies???

Personally, I’m quite looking forward. Recycled assets are fine for something like this since the lore and the mechanics will be different. Some people look at it as more of the same or even a cop out. I look at it as Anet giving us a new fractal with seemingly relevant lore attached. Nobody complains that mai trin and aether retreat share assets. People passed judgement on this fractal weeks ago when it was announced.

I found a raiding guild. We don’t raid every day but 3-4 times a week. You’d probably even be welcome to join ours.

I only got into raid last week. It is definitely not too late. I will admit at this point your best bet will be to join a casual or learning friendly guild (like I did) that is willing to take the time to teach and learn. I found my new guild on the forums.

Does anyone else feel like the new rate at which you acquire memories of battle is a fraction of what it was. After spending the better part of my day in WvW I got 20 levels.
Prior to the quarterly update I would have received 3-5 memories per level. I should be sitting on, on average, 75 memories for those 20 levels. Instead, I have amassed an impressive 20 with the new time gate.
Why is a decrease like this necessary? To cut the rate of gain to a FOURTH of what it was seems drastic. Are other people seeing this as well? Am I missing a way to get memories off battle?
