Oh man. One of the reasons I love GW2 is because this doesn’t exist Why wouldn’t someone be able to identify something they picked up anyway. It’s not like you have to bring it to “the Identifier” for a professional evaluation to find out, “Yep! it’s another jacket all right!” It’s just an annoying step imho. Is there any story/lore/thingy to adding this or is it just a way to sell ID machines or kits in the Gem Store? bah!

Oh it’s broken. I ragequit after wandering around for 2 hours wondering what was supposed to be going on. Everything is so confusing when it doesn’t work. You aren’t sure what’s supposed to be happening and you get somewhere and find everyone just milling about.

I was standing there at work yesterday staring at my weekend schedule wondering, “Ok…who can I shift swap with to make these events…nobody…danggit.”

Maybe ArenaNet can have an Asuran pretend like he is filming the event with some sort of video camera for folks to watch later…like an Asuran newscaster or something. Make a Youtube series out of them.

Maybe set up some sort of in-game kiosk that would kick out in-game event news videos? Something that could keep you in character but still provide up to date event news.

Candy corn has been popping in and out all week. Many folks on Aspenwood are seeing it also.

Either way I’m laying this 965be to rest and picking up an intel asap. Will be my first one since…well…ever. Been with AMD since my K6-III… Don’t care about 8 cores. Need me some FPS.

Ultra? No way. I have to turn reflections OFF, Shaders LOW/MED and shadows OFF/LOW if I want any sort of fun, smooth experience. Super frustrating. Lions Arch just won’t run smooth no matter what I do.

I’ve also run GPUZ and CPUID logging in the bg multiple times and neither my CPU nor my GPU max out, EVER. Scratch this. Tested some more tonight with different tool…My 965 is getting hammered.

Regardless… I can’t stop playing this game

Awesome event! Wouldn’t change it for nothin’. That said, I tried like 10 times and said “lolwutyeaaahhhhhnokthxbye.” I just don’t have the time, energy or patience to struggle up that. Not to mention once it was go time I couldn’t see my character behind the other 10 players and would just run him into the poison. I found myself just guessing when to jump since I had no clue where I was.

i just left because i thought it would just keep on going. i dunno, the whole event is a bit confusing. not sure what i am doing anywhere. looks cool though

Oh man… Waited an hour to download the patch. Finished. Ran game. Decided I wanted to launch it with Steam instead. Went back to re-downloading…from the beginning. Ugh.

I think I must be awesome at avoiding all the “bugs” people keep complaining about. Because I haven’t seen but one in 40 levels, and it’s fixed.

CRAZY spikes. Tried overclock, no overclock, higher this lower that…no go. CPU isn’t maxed, GPU isn’t maxed. I can’t even turn my character around in Lions Arch without wanting to throw up it hitches so bad. Does not matter WHAT settings I use, it’s still there. Even screwed with about every setting I could in Forceware just to see.

Best game in a long time. I hope someone can sort this out, whether it’s Nvidia or ArenaNet.
