The final item required for the Agent’s Pack Collection hasn’t unlocked even though I’ve completed the “Hearts And Minds” story step with the same character who chose the Initiate’s Pack item at the end of the “Prisoners of the Dragon” story step.

Having the same problem that user peterpat reports.

I was playing with a friend through the story, but when we arrived at “Sign Cutting”- I found the first trail, clicked it and continued. Sadly he was not able to continue. “Follow Rox’s trail” is marked as completed. There is no marker on the map whatsoever.
Reloging, changing the story, reloging, again did nothing. neither when it occurred 2 days ago, nor today.

I was in a party with a friend and reached the part of following Rox’s trail that led us through the zone transition into Dragon’s Stand. My friend saw the next objective in that map, but my story marker told me to go back to the previous zone. I tried to re-use the zone transition but couldn’t even load Tangled Depths; it kicked me back to Dragon’s Stand. Only waypointing in would let me load the previous zone. When the zone finally loaded, no objective marker appeared and all of the chapter’s objectives up to that point were grayed out (AKA completed). I tried relogging. I tried restarting the game entirely. No way to re-start the chapter, so now I’m unable to continue the story.

Just an update: I forced a restart of chapter 14 (“Sign Cutting”) by replaying chapter 13. The transition into Dragon’s Stand worked this time and my story mission objective updated correctly.

If I might offer a possible reason for the bug: being in a party might’ve had something to do with it—mainly that the other party member made the zone transition first and it confused my objective updates. Something sort of similar happened in a previous chapter (the one where you have to glide into a target circle). My other party member was slightly ahead of me and landed first, which forced the cutscene on me early, taking me out of glide, making me miss the target, and nearly killing me from fall damage.

While in Auric Basin on my Guardian, I found and killed the Treasure Mushroom, but the “Invisible Mushroom Spore” the event completion gave me did NOT count toward the Guardian/Dragonhunter’s “Ydalir” Specialization Collection.

Instead, when I right-clicked on the “Spore” item and clicked “Item Collection Achievement,” it took me to the Warrior/Berserker’s “Wild Abandon” Specialization Collection.

Is this working as intended?? Do I have to kill the Treasure Mushroom multiple times on any character and hope the Spore that’s granted counts toward my Guardian’s collection?

The down arrow is misleading, as far I can tell after about an hour of searching for some way to reach the map level on which I think the down arrow appears. The Subterranean Lake area consists of various islands elevated (on roots) above the waterline. You come up to the waterline from the subterranean river system on the lowest map level. By the time you get from the subterranean river system up to the POI, you’ve gone up a level of the area map. That down arrow you see simply indicates the watery hole leading from the POI down into the river system.

Anyway, there’s no direct way to that POI from Teku Nuhoch. Dengar’s instructions stand. Swim north to the lake using the river system. Once you rise to the waterline, you’ll need to find a ramp up out of the water. On your map, the start of this ramp is the southern side of the area. Go up the ramp (you’ll be dodging a LOT of chak) and the POI should proc.

If you have trouble getting to the river system in the first place, watch Dulfy’s video showing you the route to the Jellyfish Grotto Hero Point. Once you make it to the river system, just head toward the obvious destination. The underwater tunnel does sometimes narrow or turn in contrast to how you think it’ll work when looking at your map, so if you think you hit a weird dead end despite what your map says, just take a few seconds to look for the passage that’ll let you continue on your way.

I try interrupting with the two things I have on S/D but within ten seconds, it seems, she’s got four tornadoes up and I’m just being flung around all useless. I try armor of earth or mistform to get a second to switch attunements, but I just can’t burst-damage her down fast enough—assuming I can even get some attacks off and get them near her. I try avoiding the tornadoes and her frontal attacks, but then the camera forces the range real close if I’m too close to a wall and my FPS is terrible inside the instance. q_q
