I want to clear up the “free 200% MF” thing right here.

1. 200% MF is given away so people can log in, do some events and pick up some loot then be done with SS for the day. It caters to casuals, directly and pointedly.
2. A free 200% MF only gets you better loot until Anet’s system says no more and they cut you off. When you’re cut off, MF serves no additional function.
3. The 200% MF buff only works in SS. Which means those unique mobs could have their loot table skewed to account for that.

I’m tired of hearing about SS. The work you need to put in to get anything of gain is paltry at best, yet Anet wants to shove people into SS like sardines into a can. Even the dailies push you there.

Ya this seemes to be the way they do things, their testing is a joke. I really belive it is non-existant, as others have stated in other threads, I would love for ol colin to get a grp to run the de’s in orr they are a joke now, I really cant belive that some think that the loot i.e. rewards are better now than have been in the past I still give these events a try every now and then but it becomes sooo boring and stale for the rewards

I love that in 99% of these threads is you need to find a guild .. I agree that it is important to find a group of liked minded individuals .. but that really doesn’t compensate for the lack of progression stale loot, grindy experience, boring game play, and elitist dungeon runs where only cookie cutter builds apply, weak content when it comes to group events and the constant to nerf aspects of the game Having a good guild is essential for any game but still doesn’t change the game itself, its like if you really enjoy who you work with but hate you job at the end of the day you still hate your job but you are glad you went because you were able to socialize with the people you like.

Same for me wolfar, made my volcanus about 2 or 3 weeks back. took a lot of time and patience, though worth it imo cuz I’m just not into any of the legendary skins plus I seem to be in the odd I deff don’t see that many people running around with this sword compared to others and well that makes me happy that at least I look a lil different than every one else

TBH these new changes in the events in orr are great. I love the challenge, but omg they can get rough quick like real quick and are by far more difficult than any of the dragons or the other weakass chest events that are getting hammerd now *maw … fire ele .. Sb * I think if you were going to increase loot for a simple fight that all I have to do is really just show up and receive better loot, than really I ever got down in orr. You need to adjust the loot likewise around the board Champs are still a joke they are not worth the time put into killing them Still

Ya the drops are really kittenty now even with all MF buff going ..guess I will have to join the heard and farm those chest events.. seems to me that those events are even weaker than grindin pen/shelt hell man all I have to do is show up at one of them events and like just get 1 hit in and BAM a rare sometimes a exotic … fighting the lag is often times harder than the event it self .

There are numerous things I would implement or change all together, to many to list but the number one thing I would say is. I would like to be able to earn a living in this game and not feel like I am playing the newest stock market sim. hell I’ll be playing one of them in the next few days when SimCity 5 is released but this isn’t that game this is a mmorpg or what ever the kitten you want to call its not a economic simulator

I have to agree with the OP. I bought this game for the sole purpose that I could play the way I wanted to play, do what I enjoy doing in a game, not having worries about gear checks, falling behind in game, dealing with elitists, gated into certain play styles, builds, and professions well that was all a lie by Anet. Everything I bought this game for is now is a LIE going back on what they said they would deliver on .I just want to play the way I want to play. If I want to run the same path in a dungeon than that should be fine if I want to farm in the same spot for hours that should be fine if I just want to hang out in one zone fine
Anet continues to punish players whom are just playing the way they want to play
I am sure the fanboi’s will chime in with some sort of this and some sort of that but you know what,, this is my play style and that is why I bought this game is to-do what I wanted to-do not what fanboi’s and elitists say the game should be played

Ya they really screwed this area hard .. I really do enjoy the addition of the champs makes the events more interesting for sure . but they take the place of mobs spawning and require a lot to bring down for kitten rewards.. I guess so what’s the difference of people doing that event over and over than the new chest that is giving more rares now than I ever got doing a pen/shelt run

99% sure you have bad sectors on your hdd run a chkdsk tho it will not fix the problem for you you will be able to find out if that is truly the problem

my wife is having the same problem was able to play up to last night when the launcher would just hang on a black screen and gw2 would become unresponsive ctrl alt del only way to get unhung and now this morning she is getting hung on 50% in the launcher then the error 23 msg game was running just fine like a day ago then blammy its non responsive hdd check out fine and all her drivers are upto date mem all good just gw2 that is causin her pc to go bonkers

same thing on my end dl works fine then it drops to down to 0 and then nothing

no I wish drintar…. game was working great till yesterday then kapoof no good…. all drivers are up todate just stoped working…. I didnt install nothing no windows update I did nothing at all but now the game wont work

As of last night I am unable to play gw2 . The launcher works fine but when it goes into play the game it hangs on a black screen the only way to exit is to ctrl alt delete .. in task manger it reads gw2 is not responding … I havnt done anything to my computer to make it just stop working all of the sudden any help !! or is this happing to more than just me ?? I have searched and searched and am only finding voodoo fix’s its not my hdd nor is it my vid card the game was running just fine 12 hrs ago but out of the blue the client is non responsive
