you get kicked if you reject invitation.. if someone invites you to party while soloing, just ignore request, only thing you can do to stay in instance..

happened to me multiple times.. worst case was soloing SE story… after 3+ hrs managed to ge to final boss.. got him down to 10% and then came random party invite.. i rejected the invite and few sec i started to cry….

let me try to simplify

lvl 0-9 = 1 chest/day/character (only fractal relics)
lvl 10-19 = 1 chest/day/character (fractal relics + pristine relic + ring chance)
lvl 20-29 = 1 chest/day/character (fractal relics + pristine relic + ring/weapon skin chance)

just strafe left-right on platforms and don’t stop.. i have never been knocked off platform unless someone comes to my platform and doesn’t strafe..

even 3 harpies are not problem if you keep everyone moving all the time.. they will always miss..
even if red circle is on your platform, attack will miss if you keep rapid movement on platforms..

edit: never used any defensive abilities (reflects, blocks, smoke)… my group is 3-4 rangers + 1 warr

just use thieves guild, an ELITE skill on a boss, they don’t last more than 5 seconds due 1 shot or aoe from boss, not even to mention the agony “buff”…
so, let’s talk about useless skills and pets and when NOT to use them…. (+ the 1 thief summoned via a trap is same story)

- thief doesn’t share his damage output with his minions
- ranger cannot choose when to USE his pet..its always there..dead

so, it looks like you don’t have legit reason to qq compared to rangers

rangers are just fine.. until you try some others..
its not like they are broken.. ranger is (was?) my main.. after ranger i tried out (lvl80 full geared) warr, ele, thief..

i have been ranged medium armor class whole my life.. but this game forced me to try others.. and i’m glad it did

thief <3<3<3 (i find it a bit boring)
warr <3<3 (a bit more boring than thief)
ranger <3

1v1 is fine.. but ranger just cant handle 5/4/3v1 in most situations..
with my ele, on the other hand i can just roflstomp 90% of 3v1 fights.. 5/4v1 are also very doable unless you run into well organized group..

i find that very limiting, and i dont wanna that kind of limitations..
but if you dont care bout that kind of solo fights and want play/support as a group, ranger is great asset..

i have 4 lvl80 toons but for soloing i use only warrior..
dont know why, but i just do it..

done SE story, SE path3, 3 fractal lvl5 instances, hotw… planing to do some others when i get bored enough..

SE story took 4hrs in total (3hrs active gameplay, 1h rest in between)

whole life i play rangers/archers.. but i just fell in <3 with warrior..

gonna try that path!

i dont get this.. is there some kind of punishment/ban for not completing hole world/monthly that i’m not aware of?

if its not, why do you find mandatory to get that ones?
are you expecting that anet will design their game the way you imagined to play it?

i really dont get ppl qqing bout stuff they want, but not willing to get their hands dirty.. coz they dont file like it? lol?

maybe they should unlink achievements from actuall stuff.. so you can go to your achievements window and click on ones you want..
or, you can create your own ones and then solve them.. that would be so greatestest!

never happened to me.. that overshooting thing..
sometimes it glitches for sec-two.. but i have never experienced overshooting..

its well known glitch..
when destroyed, burrows can teleport you few feet away.. only fix, atm is to not stand between burrow and wall..

this glitch is present with most of burrow type objects..

it just amazes me
- how much time and effort you put into hating game you dont even play
- how you refuse to accept anyone opinions except the ones that copy/paste yours
- how you rage at some things, like crafting, coz they are not designed exactly the way you imagined in your mind
- how hard you insist on opinions from some gaming site blog
- your delusion that 1.5% total stats added will dramatically add to your wvw experience
- your refusal to play without that 1.5% stats

i’m casual..
i dont have any ascended gear.. i would like some rings/back.. i know i can get them, but atm, i dont want to spend the time getting them.. i’ll wait for updates, or i’ll get them when i feel like getting them.. i dont feel excluded from any part of game..

i soloed few dungeon paths (even whole SE story), soloed underwater/ascalon/blizzard fractal..
i got master craftsmen just for lols, still buying stuff from TP coz i dont wanna hustle with crafting itself..
i go to wvw having a blast.. big zergs, solo roaming.. name it.. sometimes i even visit spvp to get owned by good pvpers..

i solve jumping puzzle now and then.. complete some map coz i like design/mood/event chains.. when get bored i go and find some mini dungeon (stumbled on vexas lab by accident trying to get to vista.. you can guess it.. i had a blast:)

sometimes, i just sit on one place and chat with ppl on map/guild.. ever try to pm random person and start a conversation? got so many lols that way..

some days i feel hardcore and go on hardcore dungeon run with hardcore ppl -> fun

and when/if all of that gets boring.. i simply create alt or level/learn/gear one i already have.. i saw that thief in pvp, got intrigued.. made one.. got amazed how warr handles dungeons? no probs.. made one..

even if get bored with dungeon/stuff i’m currently doing with group and dont wanna abandon them.. i simply equip wpn i dont use so often, maybe change a trait/skill or two and thing starts to get interesting again..

i got feeling this game is meant to be played that way..
expecting everything is gonna be designed exactly the way you wanted/imagined is kinda unreal.. dont you agree with that?

there are 2 things that could be wrong..
1. i got dis wrong and i’m playing the game the wrong way
2. you have some problems unrelated to this game and you chose this game to mask your problems diverting your hate towards company/other players..
