Guild Wars 2

I purchased the game and am downloading it. I’m new to GW2 (played Gw1 a bit). I’m not familiar with GW2 and want some good advice to get into the game. Thanks.

I actually purchased the game in 2013, but just couldn’t get into it. Now I’ve been checking things out and I’ve decided to try it out again. I just wonder if it’s worth starting out this late in the game. I would like any suggestions that might be helpful as well. Should I play through the PvE or just jump right into PvP? What benifits are there to the PvE. I’m not really experienced with GW2, just remember GW1 and the PvE didnt seem to effect the PvP.
