I have also had a similar crash except the error code read:
Heap, bytes=8388728
for the past 6 months I have been having issues with the Guildwars 2 OSX game client crashing almost every time I participate in big events like SW or Orr. It is really frustrating to participate in an event and then have the client crash right before you defeat the boss not getting any of the rewards. these crashes seem to have gotten worse not better with the HoT. Why is this happening? Is there something I can do on my end to fix it? And If not why has it taken over 6 months to fix?
I have attached a screen shot of some of the errors I am getting a fix would be greatly appreciated.

in the critical blowback story mission the search for survivors part of the quest never gets checked off. i have played through all the way through the instance and defeated the boss but the quest doesn’t end and the search for survivors is still left undone.
am i missing something?

in critical blow back i finished the mission and defeated the boss to be stuck with finding survivors unfinished and unable to progress am i missing something or is this just bugged. if so please fix it as i would like to continue my story

I agree that the tagging system also needs work. the problem is mainly with zerg ball dynamic events but has issues else where as well. i have died quite often in dynamic events as a mesmer where i have run into the middle of the fight in an attempt to hit at least one mob enough so that i get credit for the event. of course once you go down very few people will help you because they too are trying to tag some of the enemies in order to get credit for the event. also in some boss battles you can be wailing on the thing the entire time but if there are enough people there you might only get a bronze medal or maybe no credit at all.
i would be curious to hear someone from arenanet’s opinion on the matter. i remember bringing this up on the forums during the beta and nothing really has been done to fix it since then so i wonder if this is how they intend dynamic event to be played or if they are just trying to figure out a new “tagging” system / alternative way to give loot in dynamic events..
