No biggie but all my load-ups are offset towards the top of the screen … making the image almost equal to the top of the screen and creating a big black band on the bottom.
Just wondering.
The wiki already mentions that the Bowl of Prickly Pear Pie isn’t marked as a “Crafting Material: Chef (400)”. I guess this has an effect in not discovering the Prickly Pear Pie recipe.
Thanks. Will do.
I’ve killed a few giants in Cursed Shore. Still my counter doesn’t increase. Are there “special” kind of giants that increase this counter or this a bug ?

Hi.
Since the update, I’ve noticed the disappearance of at least 4 NPCs in Wayfairer Foothills near Snowlord’s Gate, on the road leading to the lake: The 2 bankers on the left side of the road near the Archery stand and the Banker and Repair Man on the right side leading to the Raven Riddles. I don’t mind cutting down on bankers but the the Repair man was the only one in the county, I believe.
Regards.
@StinVec. Thank you for the exhaustive tour of all matters of storage in GW2. Yes, I found that there was a Miniatures (Specials) slot in my bank account with my mini in it.
It’s a shame I didn’t noticed the minis sections before today, as I wouldn’t have flushed the mini-hologram I received from the Dragon Bash. :-(
Thanks again.
@Josh Davis: OK. I haven’t got the minipet back on the latest update. Help, please ?
Cool. Mine is also missing for 2 days. I thought I had deleted it somehow. At least, I still have my Hot Air Balloon Souvenir though <sigh>
Hello. Not a big issue, but on my character selection screen at the beginning, I had “0% map complete” after a game crash I experienced last evening. The number is now at 4% after an additional run.
Luckily, this doesn’t seems to have any real effect on my actual progress: I can see my 40% completion in-game when I display the map and all my achievements are there, I reckon. I guess the start-screen values are stored differently on the servers than the in-game values.
Cheers.
Wow. Nothing like a good ol’ logout-login to fix things. Every time I have trouble with some aspect of the game, it does the trick. The voices are back. But I haven’t tested it on an actual long dialog with my character just like the Hunt. It’s unfortunate that I can’t hear my personal story back.
BTW: stuck on a vista that doesn’t want to work ? Just log out and log in :-/
Let’s hope this fixes things. Thanks for caring.
Thanks for the reply.
Sound is fine. No special settings to account for since I only have stereo settings.
This issue is best explained here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/story/This-is-not-acceptable-Missing-voiceover/first#post125957
The voice over issue is not about sound not coming out, but that the characters don’t move their lips when addressing to each other AND produce no sound. If sound was produced on a different speaker, you would still see the mouths move (as I have seen countless times on YouTube videos in anticipation of buying this game). It’s like there’s a an additional setting where the characters mime instead of talk. No voice, no lips moving, just their heads, hands and body acting up. They’re like graduates from the school of Marcel Marceau :-)
I know it’s strange but it’s the best way I can explain it and the aforementioned thread, is my only proof that someone else had the issue. I could always have a FRAPS video to demonstrate it.
Regards.
Hi Everyone.
I’m new to this game and it seems that the voice over to the personal story and the Great Hunt are missing. There was a thread that started 8 months ago without any real hint that it was [RESOLVED] (if such a bracketed prefix is worth anything here …)
Bumping was not recommended so I created this new thread.
Any hint appreciated.
Thx.
