Alright im bored of replying but I got some good tips so thanks.
Still Anet should give way more bank space. I mean god kitten , maybe appreciate that I’m buying and playing your game. Bank slots really can’t be that much of their shop revenue, and it’s definitely the single least fun thing you can buy from it.

Also, just as a tip, opening Champion boxes, gear bags, etc. is more profitable on lower-level characters. Again, gold that you can use to get bank space free of any real-cash monetary cost.

If this is true then it is one of the few good posts in the thread. I’m not sure I buy it though- how is this the case?
I am wondering what items you received in the ‘first 10 hours of game-play’ that caused your bank to overflow.
Could you provide a list? Maybe some advice on what to do with all those items could be given, then.

It’s all loot boxes and legendary gear from boxes that I can open without them depending on my level. If it’s a token box or something I open it and I still have to open some and (IMO) waste them on worthless leveling stuff.
When I get leveling gear I want to save, it goes on the character I’m saving it for. I don’t want a bunch of clutter on my characters though and that’s what the bank should be for.
You guys shouldn’t be so happy to pay a bunch of money for storage space. Even if you bought gems with gold/AP, you still could have gotten something fun instead if they weren’t so greedy.
They either provide enough space or they don’t.
There’s no substance to your argument, you’re just saying I don’t have a right to complain because I can buy more space if I “really” need it. That’s my whole issue in the first place though:
The cash shop should be for luxury purchases. I want to store more than 30 items and do not consider that a luxury. To that you have essentially said “not uh”.
What? This has nothing to do with materials.
I don’t want to deconstruct legendary gear, and I don’t want to open good boxes on low level characters. It’s not like I’m hoarding level 14 greens here.
You said I have enough bank space in one sentence then admitted I need more in the next. Your fanboy logic has no power here
Ranger is the best these guys are noobs. Only class that gets a mount. Luckily they’re cool about it and don’t even ride them much since they don’t want to rub it in…
I paid $40 for this game. Bank space is NOT a luxury. Maybe the 4th or 5th “tab” would start to become optional, but one is NOT enough AT ALL. I should easily have 3x as much bank space by default or it should be easily unlockable via a few gold or level gating.
Now I’m not going to spend a dime on your cash shop just because I feel like you’re greedy.
And don’t even try to post that you can get it for free. You’d have to drop >100g or 5k achievement points on ONE extra tab. That’s a lot of playtime- it’d feel good to put it towards something fun. Instead you need a bank tab so you can stop using your character slots for storage space.
One tab is frankly bullkitten. Don’t charge me $40 for a game then demand I drop another $10 to be able to store a tiny fraction of the stuff I get in the first 10 hours of play.
This game needs more builds. I got into GW2 for PvP and I’m so disappointed that everyone acts like there’s only one good PvP build per class.
You’ve had two years to balance before I got here. No offense but I thought you’d have more to show for it, especially with the weight that GW1 carries.
