A simpler reason may be that the game has no monthly subscription so players feel free to take a break to play another game and comes back again when they feel like it.

I think it would be neat if players where turned into skritt while doing the clock tower jumping puzzle. It sounds like an idea fitting of Mad King Thorn’s clock puzzle and at the same time put everyone on an even playing field solving the problem of trying to see around large toons.

I don’t think this is a bug. Skills that auto move you go backwards by default out whatever direction arrow key you are pressing. I think they work that easy regardless of if a target is selected or not.
