I love Lordrosicky threads. Such hyperbole, much response
I havekittenFighters taking out 55 HP Monks in round 1. Who’s with me?
Are you sure might stacking isn’t the real problem?
^Notice how I said make the war useless not kill him outright. Stability only lasts for a few seconds, and typically should be reserved for rezzing/stomping in team fights. The rest of the time, I can rain hell on those big telegraph abilities.
Agreed with OP. Mace was always a decent weapon but it just seems like it could have used compensation for the skullcrack nerf. Maybe you could stick the cripple on counterblow. Pair that with leg specialist and you could really punish someone.
Were we not fair and just overlords?
Didst we not deliver righteous justice to the glassiest of cannons?
Didst we not fell our foes in the most humane of manners, stunning them before the final blow, sparing them a painful death?
Wouldst thou go back to your necromancer rulers, those that burned and consumed their foes live, forcing their subjects to live in terror?
Ask yeselves this before you cryeth nerf.

You know, back in my day people pvp’d just because it was fun. Maybe I’m getting old.
Back in my day people had to start the game over from Level 1 if they died. Unless you’re deleting characters on death, I don’t see your point.
My point is that there’s incentives to playing the game aside from just e-items. My incentive to play is that I just plain like pvp. Of course I was being facetious earlier though, I know everyone doesn’t share my sentiment.
I’d say ranger is the top 1v1r now, and that’s why it’s getting the S votes.
They’re using the ladder to repair warrior’s skill ceiling right now, you can have it when they’re done.
Greatsword just needs a decent burst ability imo. I think the rest of the weapon is fine.
Dude, reve damage is awful unless you get high crit, which you can’t do with a cele amulet. If anything you may as well run solider or clerics and bunker with it, but we all know the problems with that.
Hrmm interesting. I don’t play mobas because I thought they looked too simplistic. Your argument, and correct me if I’m wrong, is that the simplicity actually adds depth because you know what to expect/avoid. Too many permutations and the opponents can’t react/preact to eachother. It’s something to think about I guess, ty.
One thing though, and please don’t take this the wrong way, but do you consider yourself a high-tier gw2 player? When you’re familiar with meta specs I’d argue you can reasonably anticipate what players will do in GW2. But still, point taken I think.
believe it when I see it
Yup, I main warrior also and 100% agree. Warrior design is amazing, especially the weapons. It’s really a shame the other classes didn’t follow suit.
The trick to med guard imo is that they can delay a lot of damage, but they don’t have true sustain. Focus on dodging their big animations, staying out of symbols, and let them use up their cooldowns. You should be able to outlast them if you play conservatively.
Anticipate that they’ll start their rotation with a couple blocks, and that they’ll use the shelter heal when they get low. Here’s a link to a standard build so you can see what you’re up against: http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Guardian_-_Meditation_DPS
INB4 something no one wanted or asked for.
Cheese builds are anything you don’t like =/
Clearly players are going to want more (longer list, actual rating displayed) but for the moment…
Thanks Devs!
Going to go off topic right away and say thanks for doing all this Blu. Seems like a huge amount of work for someone to volunteer to take on. <3
