This will probably be one of my last posts.

I still remember fighting vs people with 3 orbs and having none it was stupid. Guilds would actually be way too hard to kill even if that guild was not so great. When you had 1 orb only it was major difference.

That being said GVG is fairly done for. People saying we will continue. alot of guilds now is all kitten for score on gvgsite avoiding each other. Wont do gvg unless the exact 20 from guild etc. You expect them to do it with big disadvantage?.

Yes the community drove gvg after its creation. However you cant fight game mechanics. Also being a realists to inner guilds kittens makes this even worse. After all the first GVG RG vs sin. Was not even numbers we had about 27 they had 40+ or so but we never cared. However then it was made more official being even numbers, few rules which we know today.

The topic of making a gvg league will not work. Reason i thought about it back when playing. Also raniri from ecl wanted to do it after sfr. Why did it not happen. Alot of guilds dont just run 24/7 gvg they want to bomb zergs. Some of them even like playing points or having a random zerg during day to jump on for some kills. They said 3 leagues for EU / 2 for US. So thats still 9 servers so thats not even close to having 3 closed off servers to make a gvg league on.

Then the issue say RG or x guild go to 1 of the 3 servers but everyone wants to fight them. Then x guild that wants to fight x cant because on same server wanting to fight vs RG. It just dont work. Then add in fact they said all servers will play vs each other once. thats 6 other servers who wont have gvg community on them. One side holding the orbs? lol thats almost impossible and you expect specific guilds to just stand about waiting. Come on naive much.

Not to mention this is even before we get to the overall layout of servers. Top tiers more people bigger zergs/more guilds. The lower tiers where you would want to do this is way more casual and less numbers running around where in t1 is 100-80 man zergs to 20-50 man guilds. There is 2-5 man, soloers. Zergs of 30-50. It would be a massive destabilization of lower tiers. I can guarantee there would be people annoyed because of this and come ruin and interrupt your gvg. You will get trolls messing with the orb buffs.

Yes community needs to hold strong. Hold strong on what a cancer ridden gvg which will slowly annoy people to death. I would rather just shoot it in the head and be done. More hate on anet is required.

Move on or go around using siege and roleplaying like they want or zerging on pug commander. The underdog fighting vs orb buffed zerg. Since same reason kitten orbs was removed has still not been considered to why we putting them back in at basic level.

And yeah, I understand I might have a lil bit of responsability etc but i tried not to make it a hate rally call to quit the game, dont rly want to hurt a house that has given me much, even if i was spat in the face. Im not that kind of guy.

At any rate, if conditions change and fair matches can be celebrated consistently, the showdown will be back. But thats a tale for another time. As a gamer i welcome the change and chance to do my thing tbh, even if only for a couple months… this was a straw in the camels back situation rather than an overwhelming reason.

As for the header, I’ll look into it to make it smaller, it’s just once logged in as a GvG contact there are actually buttons that you need, so just making it smaller is not an option.. yet.

Layout is cool in general but I prefered old ranking. We all knew which guild is playing 20vs20 and it didn’t really matter if someone who’s playing 5vs5 or 15vs15 only is somewhere high(even tho there wasn’t any guild).
Now I really have no idea about it, month rankings would be nice as additional option. However I’m not the guy who got a vote here so gj

I close my eyes and see how they were jumping off the cliff at PS border near Longview tower when saw on horizon a bunch of INC’s together with us last night.

Some people even said they’ve switched to another border (looking for decent fights probably), but I can’t believe in that.

Desolation is just an unorganised version of vizunah. Whenever we have similar numbers to piken we get wiped and we only win when we have 50 man blobs which lately has been most of the time not to mention our constant night capping. What happened to the old desolation?

Well you’re reading comprehension is bad, Piken hasn’t ticked 0 yet, nice try. Have a look at the score again 1 tower and 3 camps = 25 points. Tbh most of us don’t care about this matchup, we’ve fought you and seen all you have to offer and it’s just the same as every other server like Viz/Elona/BB no skill just numbers.

To Withdraw from the Match and hide behind a River of Tears wont get you anywhere.

And Pike have been on 8. , River on 10. So they should be able to fight against RS. If they dont want that at the moment, they are to blame themself.

These Rndm matchups arent that balanced or fair, sure. But on the other hand the more stabel and fair matchups against the same opponents made people also cry. People just dont know what they want.

I doubt people actually care about that point system when playing wvw. They just want to have a fair fight, have some fun and a fair chance of winning. This week is major fail from Anet for GH. The amount of people Riverside can field all day/night long we don’t even have for 1 of the maps, think the income score of +60 to max +110 proofs enough. People talking about fun and learn something about it. Sure, we capture 1 castle on tkitten map then the big blob zerg shows up and captures it back within 6 minutes. How is that fun? This situation only causes people to play less WvW.

I love SPRT of Piken, they roam, you kitten them in 1vs1, 1vs2, 1vs3, and when the kill you 3vs1, they jump on you xD

A little message for the guardian who did that, and who was the worst player I’ve ever seen.

if you think little time, you will understand that SPRT don’t have builds for solo game and don’t run on www alone

Most Piken guilds run 15-20 people at most, we have possibly 3 guild that can field 30 players on a good day. Piken guilds are good(not saying they’re better or the best) because alot of them formed many years ago and they’re played with each other for a long time. The below quote is why we enjoy playing against good opponents.

Hum sorry, it seem that’s PS…

Not really mate SPRT and XT were playing in separate groups but your 10 guilds army was unstoppable by one squad so our russian friends came to help.
Sometimes to kill a blob you need to create a blob, or just 2 separate groups moving in the same area and attacking same target because this is how I’d call it.

We’re trying to run with guild raid only but sometimes it’s hard to avoid people joining a moving group :P and yep, there are some friends playing with us for some time and we highly welcome them every evening in our group so you can see 3-4 guys from BC
Still it’s awesome how you’re trying to run in separate groups like [NR][WAR][tohu] and it’s appreciated by us. Keep it up, fights are intensive and hardly ever have a skill lagg

We never asked them to come to Piken, they just showed up unannounced. So far we’ve only seen them and despite trying to get them in contact with our community they seem to just want to ignore us. We already had major queue issues and with them showing up it’s only seemed to have made things worse, if they’d have asked anyone on Piken we’d have told them not to come we already have too many people as it is. As a community all we wish for is good decent fights, we don’t care about the tier we fight in, we don’t wish to be “no.1” server, all we want is a nice friendly community who can have fun together.

I completely agree! I would love if my WvW titles were added to my achievement panel list. I do not care about any of my other titles on there.

However — and this probably goes without saying — I cannot stand how the titles are permanently displayed under character’s names now. So, 1. Revert how titles used to be displayed before this patch; 2. Make it so that the WvW titles can be displayed in the achievement panel list.

So now in this tier we have – AR = blob and Riverside = blob… you guys are really completly kitten farming you in Hills for 2h was awesome, unfortunatelly people at Piken need to sleep sometimes and later we didn’t have numbers to do that ^^
and without jokes – your group was 70 or 80?
I had a hope for some organised guilds on german side – didn’t meet ANY so the only thing we can expect is running in one huge group. It had to be frustrating to have just one tower with 80 people and being push away on Hills once and again?
Pathetic.

XT, I don’t get you guys. You run an impressively disciplined zerg and I find it very hard to defeat you in the field with equal numbers, sometimes even when I’m standing on a wall. But… today we tried taking your Bay by way of trebs from Vale. We sieged up the place like a fortress, but still I know you could have just walked in and killed those trebs any time you wanted, even without a mesmer portal. You did walk in, time after time after time, and all you did was run around the camp waiting for our ballistae to shoot your down. So we did. Seriously, just walk from the camp entrance to the trebs and kill them, it’s that easy. I have done it with smaller groups many times.

Last week, you bust into our Bay with 3 omegas. Instead of rushing the door and bringing it down in 2-3 minutes, you again hang around the outer wall (smoke break?) while one of our commanders gets on a cannon on that same wall (!) and shoots an omega down, and the rest of us just rez-rush you to death. I have a lot of respect for you when I face you in the field, someone saying ‘XT in home border’ is always cause for concern, but sometimes you fail for really stupid reasons it seems.

To the Angry Commander, you’re absolutely right. Us and the Germans periodically meet up on teamspeak to talk about how best to team up on you in EB. We share our teamspeak channels, and even our zerg is a mix of green and blue, with mixed parties! As a matter of fact, I was just drinking tea with the German supreme commander Hans and we were laughing at how you are easy to defeat 2v1. I admit it all.

Oh, one last thing. Your border is now renamed to ‘Underworld Borderland II’.

Sometimes we aren’t looking for easiest way, we’re trying to practice a lot of things while we’re playing, sometimes even not going for objectives. I know we could run in and destroy trebs but to be honest we wanted the gate to go down but PUGS repaired it all the time :/ and when finally it was broken, you rushed in and…. one of the best pictures in my GW2 career – whole zerg running back from bay to camp just to sit on machines and def there, not even trying to face us in fair fight outside. Unfortunatelly for you we managed to cut 20 guys from your tail and it was enough to wipe UW inside camp + 999 balistas, 999 carts and even catapults! ^^
Still it was pretty intensive fight, for sure I’ve never fought for supply camp so long before

About Omegas – we had 2 omegas, we were under gate there but decided to go back from it. You had 20+ people inside + more than 1k supplies to def and build machines. We were looking for better solution but couldn’t find. You finally destroyed our omegas with cannons so we just left bay because we’re more likely to fight with people in open field battles, it’s gives us much more fun(and badges).

About todays bay siege – I don’t know what happened later but after 1st attempt we left it to defend garrison and bay on home border. When we came back DZ guilds were so nice to open us the way to lord room, a little fight and it was our ^^

You can use a contested WP when the defend timer hits 0. You have about 2 secs to WP, when it does.

And AA guild… you guys are making it so ridiculous, why are you using this portal then and tp another 20 guys inside with another mesmer? 40 people inside keep because of mesmer – it’s not 1 person’s fault. And I’m sure there was a commander in this group. Stop looking for stupid excuses

I believe such individuals should be ridiculed otherwise they will never learn. Whatever ANet’s policy is. It is pure exploiting of the bugs that are there and how would Anet know who to ban from my screens ? You cannot even see their faces because you can not select dead people.
Just reporting it to ANet doesn’t guarantee that they will get punished, posting it on public forums will atleast draw the attention of your own guild and maybe you will know who their are and punish them by kicking them from the guild, otherwise we still have the public humiliation.

That was a very nice fully upgraded stonemist you had there Underworld.. do you like the Angry Commander style paint over i gave it? i think its better in red… oh and wood is a bit more environmentally friendly dont you think?
