Too bad you can’t really prove that you did not get one though, just going on your attitude though I’d say your just trying to fan some flames, so Ill respond with this.
I said this three times now, if I’m seeing people in a few of my guilds, and people on map-chat, even at this hour, basically a day after the event, at each-others throats, then something is wrong.
I gotta wonder if you would use the “Its just a game.” excuse, if say ANet decided to suddenly either take all your gold, or make your character start from level 1, humor me, just say they had their reasons, you’d be cool with that? 100%?
We are talking about precursor . Now you throw in other stuff? This is what ppl do when they are unable to win someone in a conversation. Why not do this comparison. You bought a PC that come with 4 gb ram then this guy bought the same PC 1 week later same price and was given 8 gb ram. It is totally different from you bought a PC and the maker of the PC decided to strip your PC to just the casing. Get it? Nope? Too bad then.
Um welcome to the real world dude this is how life works. One day when you actually pay for your own computer you’ll realise this is EXACTLY how things are. Can at least easily gauge the intellect who posts and what on here. If you like can still ‘win the conversation though’ ^^
Not quite sure how taking your gold and making you start from level 1 is in ANY way relevant to someone getting an item that is an ingredient in a legendary.
Also, I don’t really care if people got them or not. I did the event on 5 different characters and none of them got a precursor. Still not envious of people who were lucky. Good on them for getting lucky, I’ll get there someday and maybe I’ll get lucky or maybe I’ll have to work. I don’t know and that’s the fun part.
What rubbish is this?? I tried the event with other characters and you can only do it ONCE. Not too mention if you did it 5 times you would have finished barely 20 minutes ago…. and probably have slit your wrists long before then.
I don’t like that people around me got this incredible stuff… I don’t like that one guy linked two precursors he supposedly got… but if that’s how Anet feels it should work I’m sure they have their reasons. Remember the ultimate goal here is to get the precs price down. Which I’m sure will happen if the number of them has doubled.
Dark souls. The worst game I have ever had the misfortune of playing. GW2 – one of the best.
Not gonna go into why I couldn’t stand Dark souls etc etc just want to say 2 completely diff games. People enjoy different types of games, if GW was more like DS I would be playing it. Along with many others.

I agree, as a necro I found it hopelessly anticlimactic to read all these fantastic skills, avatar of melandru, the two hounds, flesh GOLEM (really?) and then seeing someone become he lich… only to find these skills downright useless. To such an extent I stuck with the hounds (which any human player will know is ridiculous) until I dinged. At 80 I’m now running golem again – it’s suddenly living long enough to be meatshieldy and its damage is…. noticeable. This is all quite a pity for me because aesthetically (as in how much I just appreciate the animations/design etc) I really don’t like it. It looks like the offspring of Lindsay Lohan and some endangered rhino species. With no skin. Basically it doesn’t suit my necro, and im stuck with it. Haven’t tried running certain skills now that I’m 80, will do so soon.
My first explo dungeon experience wasn’t a good one. I like to talk in game here and there, maybe crack a joke etc, but not to point where I think I’m irritating or anything like that. Anyhoo the group leader had a friend with us who was just a complete kitten He was AFK on and off as he felt like it, insulted and belittled us, and any form of teamwork/res was not even a consideration. The whole run was really just a horrible experience – as a noob I ask questions like ‘should we attack that?’ and ‘when is the last boss?’. Unfortunately each of these questions was met with a sarcastic, often disgusting retort about my character or my my mother to the point where I went silent and was just playing for the end. As the last boss sequence started he (and I imagine his friend) had me kicked from the group. My friend reinvited me, but I was kicked again. He then pvt messaged me “last boss is up!”, when I realised the whole thing was just premeditated from the moment I responded to one of his insults. Left with broken gear in silence on the doormat of AC dungeon it’s suprising the feeling hopelessness I felt for a large portion of my Saturday afternoon. The idea that this will happen to most players that are in a team with this… person saddens me greatly. Most people take a ‘well that’s some people’ or ’don’t feed the trolls’ response to this… I don’t understand it at all. If you’re aggressive go start a bar fight. If you wanna run a dungeon in a video game then do that. I guess this wont really mean much to you unless you’ve experienced it, but yea… that’s my story.
