It would be very nice to have town clothes that look more legitimately like actual casual or dress clothing that a character would wear around. So far, it seems like the only town clothes that any race gets which don’t come off as more of a costume are the ones that we start out with. I see plenty of Human NPCs around LA for example with different tops or bottoms than what we’re given.
I like addons, but when I want them, I play a game that allows them and is designed around them. GW2 is not that game, and I do not want it to be that game.
The sad fact is the second you allow addons, you start rolling down the path that addons become required to be most effective.
I’d be happy if they added a couple of new skins to the higher tier leather karma recipes so it’s not the same armour at all tiers jsut a different material cost, theres a few good armours currently used in the storyline missions that could be used as higher tier karma recipes so that those who missed them duringthe stoyline or who liked them but needed different stats at the time could make the armour they wanted with the right stats without using a stone(not everyone has a ton of stones stored in there bank afterall).
Um… the entire point of stones is to give you the avenue to look like whatever you want with the right stats AT A COST. If you aren’t prepared to pay that cost, you’ll have to settle for something lower.
Also, for the record, I haven’t seen a single personal story armor reward that isn’t available in some other accessible form.
“Biased?” What is that even supposed to mean? Yeah I guess they want to protect the monetization of their IP so that makes them biased… that totally makes sense.
So obviously, crits can’t occur on inanimate objects. Makes sense to some degree. They dont take conditions either.
However, all the big dragons seem to behave that way too. Is this intended? As far as I can tell, none of the event dragons or anything else with targetable body parts can take crits. It seems like this wouldn’t be intended since they take conditions just fine. My damage seems high on these dragons anyway so I’m wondering if it flattens the crit chance out and averages it into the attack.
Can anyone confirm the AN position on whether or not this is intended mechanic?
Anything that makes you move servers will potentially reset it. Going into an instance, changing maps, moving from overflow to your home server, all of those things. The fact that it’s resetting on those events is probably a bug.
The fact that your counter is not moving, however, is not a bug. The counter’s current progress will always show the highest you’ve reached so far, so if you reset, it’s not going to move again until you get at least as high as you were last time.
The good news right now at least is that if you are at least level 60 (maybe even lower) the event completion reward for a dungeon is enough generally to give you all 100k xp in one go. Also, at level 40+, it’s real easy to get the survivor xp achieve in one sitting quickly by leveling crafting.
