Hi there,

I remember playing with you guys on SoR. (I was 2nd in command of HL) Some of us broke off recently and made a WvW focused guild on SoS. We LOVE SoS. Couldn’t have picked a better server to call home.

Some reasons we choose to come to SoS:

-No warchest
-Guilds are allowed to play how they want to play
-They are mostly out for the fights
-Community is ran by the community

SoS’s NA has gaps in coverage, but is still very strong with guilds like FANG, CNB, AGG, EP, NS, ENVY, etc. (I know there’s a lot more, but those are who we’ve been running with since arriving last week)

Our EU still needs some help as well, but as you stated our OCX/SEA is solid.

So, you guys would be very much welcomed here.

I must give Magummies some credit too though; their NA is very strong and they could of course benefit just as much from having you guys.

We hope to see you guys fighting along side us soon in SoS! Good luck on the choice.

Luvpie.8350 would be the best to contact about SoS. He’s who we went through and helped us with any questions we had about SoS.

[FW] is a recent transfer and we love it here. The community is awesome. Coming from SoR this server is a big change and I’d recommend SoS to any individual/guild looking to change servers.

[FW] just transferred to SoS today.(Newly created guild) (Split from a SoR guild) Only a few of us have made the move so far, but so far we’re having a blast. We love the SoS community. The fights have been great so far from just a few of us roaming around.

Thanks to NV for the few who split from their zerg to fight us with equal numbers.

Forgotten Warlords [FW] is in the process of transferring to SoS. I spoke to Luvpie and a few others about a week or so ago about the possible move over. However, none of the server leaders are currently online. So, I was told to post here to get the attention of someone who would be able to get my guild a channel setup on the TS.

A little about [FW] we’re a newly created guild on SoS. We’re from the server SoR with a few coming to join from AR/SBI as well. Myself and a few others broke off from a WvW/PvX guild that is being shuffled. We came to SoS due to the view/stance SoS has on buying/renting guilds.

We’re currently a havoc/roaming guild; but are not afraid to jump into the mix of zerg fighting. We’re ONLY focused on WvW.

I’m hopeful of someone contacting me soon in-game to get us setup on TS. Until then can’t wait to kick kitten with our new server mates!

I want to put to bed some rumors that have been going around about “SoR giving up”. I can assure you all that is not the motto of all guilds on SoR or of any that I know of.

Just because you have 3-5 Rallians on here “trolling” or “chest thumping”; doesn’t mean they speak for us as a server. I can assure everyone that [HL] will continue to come out night after night and give everyone in the BL that we’re in hell. We have always been about the fights and will continue to be about the fights. So, all this talk of SoR not coming out is laughable. There’s plenty of guilds that love getting their bags full.

I want to give BG credit where credit is due. You guys have done a superior job in rallying the “pugs” if you will. You’ve been able to maintain your numbers night after night. (Giving props here)

However, I do wish Anet would have locked transfers once leagues started. There’s no point for people to transfer during leagues due to PvErs can guest. I wish they would have locked transfer, but what can you do.

So in closing; SoR is far from dying. There’s plenty of guilds on here that come out night after night looking for the fights. Everyone on here should know a few forum warriors don’t represent a whole server.

This system is broken, but thats not news to anybody who WvWs on Tier 1 servers. It’s not fair to the players who truly play for WvW with it being the highlight of their time spent on GW2.

You have the means to bypass the queues; you just refuse to take it up.

The system is not broken, but something else obviously is.

If you’re implying that we should transfer; then please read the OP’s original post. [HL] is a 500 member PvX guild. So, transferring is out of the question(As stated in the original post). Also, [HL] is a guild that was created on SoR back when we were tier 3. We’re very dedicated to SoR.

The new guilds we’ve gotten from transfers is not what the problem is. It’s the PvE Achiev hunters that have increased the que times. I see people off commander tags just trying for achiev points.(I must add these people are either up-levels or are wearing their PvE gear in which case they’re rally bait for the enemy)

I have no issue with new players/pvers trying WvW out, but when they’re not playing WvW the way it’s intended(Competitively). That’s where I have the issue.

As stated by the OP; WvW is the ONLY reason I play GW2. It’s what brought me to this game and it’s what keeps me here. Tier 1 is where the fights are 24/7. So, even on an individual level to transfer would be out of the questions. Tier 1 is competitive.

SoR knows about guilds that hack. Can you say Fear and HL.

HL…Ya, it was an accident that we hacked into NW tower on JQBL 5 times in less than an hour.

If you were smart enough to form a valid opinion/argument, then youd realize your claim of us ‘hacking’ into your tower is just plain stupid. Sure dude, a few of us lagged through the gate and took your tower.. oh wait lol nevermind we jumped right out as we do not tolerate “hacking”. Morons.

Please explain how you “accidentally lagged” into the tower 4 or 5 times yet no JQ or BG “accidentally lagged” in the tower. In fact, no other SoR “accidentally lagged” into the tower.

You would think SOMEONE would have the same problem at some point. No, just you. I would just love to hear your theory of how you are the only guild effected by this.

Our guild leader has explained the issue at hand and gave you/everyone an explanation on how it happened. The fact you’re unable to comprehend that explanation makes you a moron.

It was a simple mistake due to lag. The guardian it happened to repeatedly jumped out of the tower. The fact the only screenshots shown have showed our member entering/leaving the tower only supports our claims.

I still am confused as to why you’re all worked up with an event that happened a full 24 hours ago. We even had a GM running on the BL. So…

Pve’rs are taking up ques from WvWers who actually know how to properly play the game mode. These PvE’rs are nothing but rally bait atm.

I have no problem giving a helping hand and teaching people the basics of WvW; but when you have PvE’rs taking up que times to complete a JP; then it’s out of my hands.

WvW has been in-game since launch. They’ve had plenty of time to “try it out”.

I think Dgin said it best; all of our major/main guilds have been with SoR through thick and thin. We’re all very dedicated to our server.

With that said; we hope to see some new faces join our great community soon.

No, we’re not going to have competitive fights. SoS went against JQ and FA. JQ had 3 times our points. And FA beat us by like 5k points. That’s competitive?

Hence why I said the “battle” will be down to the three titan servers, but at least we won’t be fighting doors. I know SoS is more competitive than that..

Also a 5k difference in points is considered a nail biter and is very close indeed. Especially with bloodlust coming into play.

Actually I would like to see SoS vs Mag vs FA on reset tonight! Winner gets into League 1.

I think both FA and SoS would beat Mag. Sure Mag’s NA is good, but coverage is the name of the game.

I personally want SoS, FA/SBI to be in the gold league. SoS has the oceanic/sea and they have decent EU coverage. Plus with their recent guild of CNB their NA is looking decent as well.

All in all I’m happy how league 1 is forming up. Of course the battle will be between the three titan servers, but still at least we’ll get competitive fights through out the season now.

I have to disagree with you. The garri fights were very fun. We held you and BG off for what 2 hours, or so? A lot of great fights. Sure skill lag was rampant, but this is tier 1 after all. We should all be use and expecting the skill lag by now.

(No chest thumping intended above; simply stating a lot of good fights in that 2 hour time period)

Good fights with SoS at Durios and Mendons tonight, and of course, the crazy fight with TW inside SMC.
Also, earlier in SoS BL, this was taken. Can anyone on SoR tell me how many? I estimated 50ish

We had 35 in our TeamSpeak maximum tonight (we ran in our private TS, not the community one).

We averaged ~30 or so however in our TS/Zerg. We just had a good night tonight and stuck together well and had some really nice fights with TC/SOS.
