Guild Wars 2

I’ve had an issue where when I play GW2, my internet connection is… well… disconnected.

It happens with no other program, no streaming services. Game just stops responding, I alt+tab to see what’s up, and find my internet connection disabled.

I did a google search about “gw2 disconnect internet” and was presented with a deluge of results.

…Here’s the thing though, not a single one (that I saw, I suppose I may have missed one among the dozens of results) was replied to by a red tagged response.

People begging for a fix or even an explanation of why this is happening, and instead getting hopeful fix advice like, “reset your router, call your isp, change the stuff in administrative tools, etc”, from others. (Tried all of these, btw.)

So I’m asking for a direct response to an issue that’s plagued/plaguing players to the point where they say screw it and do something else.

I love this game, but being disconnected anywhere from every ten minutes to every couple of hours, and not just a d/c, but my internet adapter(?), that’s just bad news.

So… Why is this happening, and how do we fix it.

It’d really be nice to get an official response to any of these varied threads about connection d/c’s that are only linked to / happening with gw2.

Months and months have passed it seems, without official word.

Well heya, all. I started back playing right before southsun went live, and have been learning the ropes in WvW. I remember our (bp)’s excitement at not being saddled with ebay every week, and there seems to be some serious anticipation at seeing you again.

…Maybe I’m just unclear on how everything works, but is it that you’re a larger server than us, or that you have a larger wvw presence?

Either way, I suppose I should just google all of this information, but it’s good to see you all (under my blade), and I hope this week is as blood-soaked and body count-riffic as it sounds.

Also, holy hell, logging in this morning to see CD’s presence on the wvw menu, guess sleep is bad news.

Yeah, In order for me to even be able to stand it [since i’m turning pretty much all my candy into cupcakes], I have to stand there for awhile then go do something else and have a break from buying em.

Sure, keep the confirmation, but make it “do you want to purchase X item for X currency?”

It’s been mentioned before, a google search will show, but I thought instead of necro-ing threads from other forums, I’d post it here.

Is there any way you could implement a function to purchase more than one of an item from a vendor?

For instance, I’m trading zhaitaffy for cupcakes, and it’s rather droll to single click to buy a couple stacks worth of taffy
