I only play each dungeon like once, just to enjoy the story, i care nothing about loot or such things, i just go and have fun

it better NOT have that glitchy time race again, that thing was so buggy and lagging. I agree that it should be difficult, but still fun and not reliant on time that much (i finished the tower once, mostly it randomly kicked me even if i was ahead of people, not to mention other lags and problems)

What would a GW2 ‘universe’ movie be about?

Id personally say the Destiny’s Edge story would be cool (before the gw2 game time and also during it: the dungeons)

The gameplayer’s story is kinda difficult, since there are 5 races and 8 professions, kinda hard to choose the main character for a movie. Of course Trehearne is also involved

-Note- I am not expecting a movie, No (would be cool of course)

As a start, id say Lightbringer Tybalt Leftpaw From the Order of the Whispers.
I love how funny and cute he is

I like using the condition removing mantra, since null field wont last long and has a long cd. Byebye poison and burning :P

Decoy~avoid and evade, then strike :P
Feedback~ vs ranged enemies, watch them destroy themselves :P also a good protection.

3rd one depends, mostly either the condition removing mantra (handy vs poison and burning, and you can use it more than null field), blink, or signet of illusions, really depwnds on the enemy :p

Ok… currently 12,5 levels to go til level 80…

Gonna leave dungeon for quite a while now, went back to solo adventuring.

Ok now, first of all, i simply wanted to find out about the new dungeon, nothing wrong with that.

2nd, i already got a positive reply as well in my mail, as to how to avoid these problems (it was a very good point-out actually [and seemingly from a person with <80 level])
so i dont need these people here that keep yelling at me, that they want to kick me and im bad etc..

if i could find a way to effectively gain some income, everything would be fine, since im not usually a person who cares so much about money (even irl), but seeing how dying outmatches my incomes, it kinda makes playing….difficult, and not the good ‘difficult’

Don’t you think YOU are the one being selfish here?

Because people don’t want to play with a level 65 who apparently has a bit of a temper, de-equips his gear mid instance and doesn’t understand the difference between train and utility skill, does not mean they are selfish.

It doesn’t mean they have an attitude problem or think they a great. It just simply means they want to play with who/how they want.

Do you think it is selfish for you to expect them to carry you butt naked through an instance because you don’t have the HP/Traits/Experience they do? Don’t you think it is selfish to blame THEM and making them sound like monsters for not taking you?

Again I am just trying to open your eyes a little…

I’m not selfish, i didnt ask anyone to carry me, and its not for them to decide to kick me when its the 3rd fractal of the instance already and i decide to unequip, since everyone got killed by some trap things.

I was actively doing the dungeon, and wasnt a burden to anyone, supporting them with what a mesmer can unload.

Um….so im level 65, and people comment me about skills and traits….

Im only missing 1 elite, and its not that useful anyway (mass invisibility), there are simply better stuff to put as elite, than that..

traits arent THAT game changing, getting 1 boon for a lucky moment, or i dunno, i agree that i like those damage boosting traits, but its still not that much to make the difference between a strong and a weak player.

And the most important part here: im level 65, not something like 20… I ’’Almost’’ have what a 80 has..compared to a low level player..(and im not talking about gear, since i dont really care about those stuff, i never grind for gear anyway)

I want to do each dungeon once, and thats it, just for the story, not for the loot.

Nobody is going to agree that playing without equipment is anything but a selfish act on your part.

Even if your playing a support role, losing the extra health/armour makes your a liability that is likely to further hinder your already wiping party.

Everybody else manages their money to such a degree that they can cover repair bills and still have some change, why is it too much to expect that a player who proclaims to be friendly and fun, to play respectfully towards the other players in his/her party?

my money status used to be completely fine, since i never buy anything anyway, besides gathering tools and scavenging packs..

I blame that level 60 dungeon. like i mentioned before. it kinda brought me from ’’fine’’ to broke. (especially that one golem boss that throws fire, practically instakilling your whole party)

Dungeons always seem to take more money away from you than actually give good stuff, seeing as most of the stuff i get is useless junk, sometimes rarely it might be a better rarity, but mostly just common armor that my characters cant use. (and i have 3 of them.)

lvl 80 full exotics done lvl 2 run to the end, my repair bill was just over 9 silver, and I died plenty dropping from heights and that stupid stairway that you have to dodge electrical bars on, you are telling me that 9 – 10 silver is to much for you to pay for repairs, and I doubt it would cost you that much if you are only lvl 65.

I can understand people not wanting players that have not reached lvl 80 , they die a lot, had a lvl 61 in our party on a lvl1 fractual, it was like he was being 1 shotted everytime we came up against a mob. But we didnt deny him a run, it was pretty funny.

one full repair to me is like 20 silvers, maybe 15.. which does seem weird.

now then, read again, maybe now you understand, i dont walk around naked 24/7, just places where having better stats isnt important. OF COURSE i equip in boss fights or otherwise tough fights…

It seems like im the only person in the game who doesnt have an endless coin supply in their pocket…Considering how you would have to do about 8-10 Renown Hearts (not counting events atm) to get just ONE full repair..

Now then, before calling me useless, usually in fight or dungeons, i focus on bringing the utility and support to the fight. If you want me to deal tons of damage, youre looking at the wrong class, mesmers arent meant for just dishing out damage. And im not freeloading, im actively playing along, while being friendly and fun during the journey…sad that others dont always react the same way..

so sad you cant simply solo it, i like soloing games, imo parties and guilds (mostly guilds) only drain the fun out of games.
(i only ever group up with my closest real life friends)

While I personally accept low lvl people in my runs, leveling to 80 in this game is super easy. If you can’t be bothered to do even that, expect really a lot of people to kick you.

hm, i do all the events and hearts i see, crafting as much as i can, exploring, and all that, yet somehow leveling still doesnt seem so ’’easy’’. and of course i have a life too, cant just grind for levels 24/7 like some people do.

(and it might also affect that i have 2 rerolls already)

its nice enough that, after one of the dungeons (and its name i dont remember)
i practically went from ’’fine’’ to ‘’dirt poor’’ with those repair prices.

its like using the waypoints…. i stand next to one, and i have to pay over 1 silver for it (also makes pve dying more expensive), compared to how my 2nd character, who is around level 35, pays like what….10-20 coppers?

this issue brought down my playing time with this character, from every day a few hours, to maybe once or twice per week or 2…
i have to grind events to cough up some coin, just to waste it all with 1 full repair..
=> not what i see as fun.

i mean, you get SCALED up… (the character i wanted to do it with, was 65, and yet people werent ok with me being scaled up 15 levels)…

3) So once i got a group, at some point, we seemed to be dying a lot, so i unequipped my clothes, and when i explained that i dont wanna spend that much money on that overpriced repair system, they kicked me from the party and i had to do it all over again..

4) People arent having fun in this game…at all…. just lots of rudeness and caring about getting loot.. I mean…all i want to do is to enjoy playing this game -.-

there might be something else, but i cant remember atm.

1. Not sure how this affects you.
2. That’s the group’s prerogative if they don’t want people below level 80. I personally only want to group with level 80 players because they’re going to have more traits and probably are better geared for their level than you are, since people don’t go for valuable gear while leveling.
3. I would kick you as well. With no gear equipped you’re a detriment to the group. There are plenty other people who can scrape together the handful of silver for repairs.
4. I’m having fun. I think I count as people.

(Edit: i DO equip during important fights, especially boss fights, i UNEQUIP during moments with enviromental damage or otherwise places, where having better stats is not that important [Especially some 1-hit death places]

I wasnt annoyed by it earlier, but now it kinda makes me feel unhappy.

Yesterday (having rerolled yet another character) i got to the point where the sylvari meet the Orders and the first quest is about choosing, if you want to play along with the Priory or the Vigil for some undead thingy.

Then choosing either to fight head on or with those tiny cute experimental golems of the Priory.

Of course i took the golems because they sounded more fun and invited my friend to walk along with me to those human lands to do it..

When we finally got there and the quest started, i suddenly realized that only i can control the tiny golem:

Which means my friend just has to practically sit through all the fun!!!
-I dont think this is fair nor fun..

My suggestion: Let your friends interact with the story quest’s things as well, just like for example allowing them to control the golem in this quest too (so there are 2 golems if you take 1 friend with you).. There are lots of those ‘’special type’’ quests that arent done by usual means, and its kinda boring for the friend just to watch and wonder whats going on….

My character is level 61 already and i bought the Grandmaster’s Training Manual (needs at least level 60 to use), but i can’t use it, i keep double-clicking it, it does that ’’equiping’’ soundeffect but nothing happens..

I have been trying to find this music again but i have failed…

Its in the personal story quest A Splinter in the Flesh, where a Sylvari first meets the Orders, when you enter the Omphalos Chamber in that story quest, youll hear this wonderful track…

Unfortunately…when i recorded it, it got corrupted somehow.. So what i ask is:
Could someone re-record it for me? If youre gonna play a sylvari, or already are, and havent met the orders yet.
