Bumppppppp……………
It’s all in personal preference really. If you like using the razor then use it. I dont use mine because I mash other buttons, so you know… I die.
Here is a link to my guide…

Rank really means nothing… I believe that it doesnt matter whether you are rank 9 or 40. That rank 9 may be naturally good at pvp, and the rank 40 may have just played a lot of hot joins. I also think limiting the tpvp/SoloQ entry to say rank 20 wouldnt solve anything, because you would still have the same problem…People coming in not knowing how to play tpvp the “right way”…It would solve nothing.
Well, at least in my opinion, staying on a point is more beneficial in the long run, in most cases, than if you ran around. Im saying this of course because if you win you get the 500, 1000, or 1500 point bonus reward for winning, or you can run around and get 200 points and possibly win, but more or less probably lose. Now what you can do…Protect home and run back and forth when needed to mid, and then back to home, so maybe you can get more action that way?
Coaching what exactly ? I don’t see how conquest can be complicated. Most new players are using a sub par build, this is where the problem comes from.
I really strongly agree with this. Nothing is very hard with pvp at all. I may be saying this just because Ive played in spvp just about since start, but my point is that like this guy said… there really isnt a huge learning curve. It’s more or less something that you just need to learn on your own. I agree that it may be useful to some, but what I REALLY strong disagree with is that only top 100 leaderboard players would be able to do this. Something a “Pro” would say may be useless and unhelpful to someone, yet someone who just plays normally, may be able to explain or get something across easier than that of a “Pro”. The prices of these Non top 100 people may be cheaper, but in the end taking a risk with using these non top 100 people may be a better payout than that of a “Pro” tourney player. Just my two cents.
I do agree with the points into air, and I choose to be more defensive in tourney play…thats just me, but in my video I do point out that you can swap those 2 points into air if that is the way you wanna play. My question is, why would a sigil of doom be better than maybe a strength, or some other sigil. I can see the good of what an air or fire can do with damage, but just in my opinion, I would think maybe the extra 6 or so stacks of might (210 Power, 210 Condi Dmg), would be more of use. I say this because something like a sigil of fire is a proc type of thing, at 50%, and Sigil of strength is at 60% I believe with a 1 SECOND CD. Why even have a CD when it’s one second? I just believe in the fact that, the percent is higher, the damage (Imo) is higher, and the CD is smaller, makes the sigil of strength a more viable choice than something along the lines of a sigil of air/fire. Once again this is my personal preference, yet I may look into the usage of the Sigil of Doom later on this week when I get the chance to play
Yeah I could really see the good synergy with that sigil and pretty much and elementalist build! Maybe using S/D… Updraft, Fire 2 (Dragons tooth?), and Fire 3 (Phoenix?), that would be quite a nice burst indeed. I enjoy being a good use for the team and being able to hold points, and stack might while being able to be mobile and help out in mid or other points when needed! Elementalist is really a class about you being comfortable, and creating your own thing, so that you can be the best you can be!
Remember that any comment that may help me provide the info better just let me know and I’ll try and help you out
Sorry bout that. Was pushed for time so I forgot to put the link :/ but I just edited it in.
Hey guys, it seems as if people are trading in their ele’s for different and easier classes such as Warrior, because ele is too hard, or unbalanced. People dont realize that elementalists are one, if not the best class in the game. I say this for many reasons.
1. We have the potential of having over 45 spells available at one time.
2. We have one of the best damages in the game, if specced correctly
3. We have the best healing in the game, if specced correctly
4. We can play bunker, if specced correctly
5. We can play in team fights, if specced correctly
In other words, we are everything.. A Jack of All Trades, if you will.
I believe that Elementalists are one of the only classes that can sustain the damage from, 2, 3, maybe 4 people at one time, and still outrun, or kill everyone around. A lot of people call elementalists too hard because they play it like a Warrior, or Necromancer, and look for certain skill rotations that are the best. Well the problem is, it’s none of that. Elementalists are one of those classes in a game that you are either really bad, or really good at, there is no middle ground.
That being said, there are many builds that I believe are good at this time, with all weapon choices. Personally I believe D/D is the best for sPvP, Staff is best for WvW (in a zerg situation), and S/D or S/F is the best for PvE. Some people will disagree with that , but that’s just my two cents.
I have a new sPvP build that, in a way, revamps that old D/D Cantrip build that everyone used to run. It is a 2/0/2/4/6 build, utilizing the usage of Cantrips, and the boon stacking, especially Might, for all your team mates, and especially yourself, in order to Burst down the enemy, while keeping High toughness and Vitality, in order to survive.
If you guys are intrested in this build, check out my new video on YouTube. As of now (May 5th, 2014) it is up to date, and viable in spvp, and maybe WvW.

Please Leave Constructive Criticism…It is my first video.
Anyways.. Thanks for Reading and Watching!

Hello everyone interested in joining a guild! SnF is a brand new guild that is looking for both new and old players to come together on both pvp and pve! We are a guild that strives to create a funny and comical, yet educational environment for all around us. We have no requirements in our guild to join and you don’t need to rep all the time!
We are a Henge of Denravi based server (doesn’t really matter anymore now that we have the new mega server), and play frequently in both pve and pvp aspects of the game. We do dungeon runs quite frequently, and play in both hot join, and tourney pvp.
Although the guild is new, we already have our guild crest, and bank set up for all of our 2nd rank players to deposit, and withdraw from!
I play mostly on the weekends only during the school year, but we have members on mostly throughout the day, and always on during reset times.
If you are interested in joining message me at the ingame character names of either… Andy the undying, mythalador, or Ki De Kah, or you can comment on this post and ask any questions you would like to know about, and I can try and respond as quickly as possible!
Omg I thought it was only me. I can’t do hot join anymore without disconnecting about 5 min in, and I have no idea why.
This really has nothing to do with the post, but when someone says “why should I listen to you, you are at the bottom of the scoreboard,” it makes me mad because people don’t realize that a tpvp or soloQ match isn’t about scoring points for yourself, but scoring for the team so that you can win…
I’m not bashing in anyway, but I believe it’s a waste of time really. In my opinion you get better based on how you play, and just that… Playing. Something like some big person is telling you isn’t going to help you anymore than what someone on YouTube or in-game hasn’t already told you. Rank, and leaderboard rank really doesn’t prove much as far as how you are in game. A rank 10 could have more pvp insight than a rank 60. I say this because all you have to do to get ranks is just play, the rank 60 has played more hot joins than that of a rank 10, but that rank 10 may have better tactics than that of a rank 60. Highly unusual, but plausible. Also, for someone who is in the top 100, they may have just scored a good team with an irl friend, so in return they may be teaching something wrong or bad to someone who is paying in game cash to become better.
Another thing I believe strongly in is that you need to practice with a team in a private room and or tpvp in order to get your own tactics to become the best, and not get tactics based on what other people tell you.
This is just my Two cents, if you don’t agree with them… Take it with a grain of salt
That was an auto correct… It was suppose to be organized, not organisms.
Thanks guys! Thrashbarg I am on a iPad so it auto corrected organized… But that did make me lol
Hey guys! I have just been informed and saw the new items that are being released when the wvw spring tournament ends, and now I really wanna get the meta. I am curious, how long did it take you guys to complete it, and where you with a big pug Zerg, or an organisms guild? I just need to know if I have time to finish the meta or not with the time that is left. I also only play on the weekends… So yeah
Thanks!!
