I’ll take hearts Q’s over any other type of Q’s from <insert random MMO> where you HAVE to do a certain thing for each Quest.. Atleast now you do what you most feel like.. I usually like killing stuff the most, so that’s exactly what I’ll be doing for the Heart Q’s..

DE’s combined with Heart is even more win

I only just started a warrior, but I love the longbow, it does exactly what I want it to do, whereas, the longbow for ranger was just plain kitten for my playstyle. The Burst-skill is just <3. When the burstskill is used up, I switch to dual swords to bash whatever is still standing..

My main Characternames:

Sword-Wielding-Type : Paladin, Warrior, Blade Dancer
- Antrasith : From back in my lineage II days.

Comes from the words Antracite and Sith. The first part is the dark color (suited my dark elf BD) and the second part was because of my love for Star Wars

Healer-Type
- Essencia : coming from “essential” (party-wise)
- Nynaeve / Nynaeva : aka Nynaeve Al’meara —> Name out of my favorite books : Wheel of Time. Yellow (healing) Ajah character

Mage-Type
- Elaine / Ylaine : aka Elaine Trakand —> Also from Wheel of Time. Green (battle) Ajah Character

1. Lovely surroundings
2. De-leveling & Rewards which make beginner areas worth exploring
3. New take on crafting with the Discovery is well thought out imo
4. TB from anywhere in the world (when it’s up)
5. hidden things like the underwater keyboard (pretty eerie sound to the GW theme song there <3)

So, a pretty useless stat in other words?

Still, I do love my Ele, subpar or not, don’t really care, just enjoy playing it

Soooo, you mean kind of a third-person-shooter feel, like they did in Tera? I wouldn’t mind that either, was a nice combat system..

It is possible, I play on 2 computers myself and went to a friend to show him the game on his comp, no prob there.. He tested the game for a few hours and was hooked, so he bought the game the same day.. Hands on experience is good publicity imho..

I used to think like OP on this subject. I did try the first beta and that’s when I said : this game is not for me, so I didn’t even bother about the other beta’s..

I did give the game a shot during the pre-launch and made myself learn all my skillsets on all different combo’s and that’s when I noticed how wrong I was with my pre-conceived ideas.

It is true, however that you will be using mostly the same skills / weapons when you’re leveling, but if you’re a bit creative, you’ll find better combo’s for different situations..

When I start playing a new MMO, I don’t ever expect it to be polished into the smallest details, yet GW2 did practically deliver exactly this. I really don’t care about a few random bugs / balance issues etc. This will get solved in time anyway..

And most of all, thanks for the dedication you seem to be putting into the support / communication / updates / listening to the community, … Most games fail in this area, especially at the start, but you guys seem to be on top of it all..

GREAT WORK

I love the deleveling system.. I like to see as much as possible of a game and this makes it rewarding to cruise through low level areas too, as compared to it being a drag in other games..

Increased cam distance is the only option I currently miss in this splendid game..

I’m still only a low level (26) ele, playing mainly with DxD or ST as main wep, my gear is constantly up to par with my level.
Imho, it isn’t too squishy, switch attunements and kite the hell out of mobs, incl. veteran mobs. But keep your hands off of ranged vets / champs, you don’t stand a chance :P
However, I wouldn’t mind doing just a little bit more of damage. If I watch warriors etc of my level, blast through mobs, I can’t help but feel a little bit left behind..

There’s only 1 thing I’m missing:
- Change Weapon Button, only to be use OOC, obviously!
I find myself wanting to switch between DxD & ST quite often, based on the fight and constantly having to open ‘H’ and dragging the weapons into the correct slot, is annoying.
