Same issue as with stuff for a keychain: lock picks, keys, acid, machetes, and so on.

And now for BitterFrost, you have to carry around soulbound feathers, suet, eggs, etc.

Lots of stuff is getting added to the game taking up inventory space, but nothing is being added to help us manage them.

I would really like additions to the game that lets us manage these “inventory collections”, an increase for the number of allowed shared inventory slots, an increase in the number of bag slots per character, an increase in the number of bank slots, and an increase in the stack size of items in the bank and character inventory.

Several of those things are already gem store items, so they would also help generate some direct revenue for anet.

I think it’s actually a combination of the tool tip and trying to use one while you’re in that same zone.

All 3 hover tooltips say in red “This item cannot be used while in combat”. But you can actually use them, so the fact that it was in red confused me since that usually means at the current time, rather than in-general. Also, it seems that you can’t use the portal scroll when you’re in the scroll’s zone already. So the combination of the two had me thinking there was a problem.

I guess it’s behaving as intended, and the combination of the tooltip and not being able to use it while in it’s zone confused me.

Yes, lvl 80. I’ve been using them without issue until today.

I have all 3 portal scrolls for the LW3 zones, and none of them will function — their tool tips all indicate I can’t use them while in combat. But I’m not in combat; I can change slot skills and use waypoints.

I would like them to do something similar to what they did with the “compact” inventory (which provides an option to locate the “compact” menu item to the bottom of the list if you have a tendency to accidentally select it). They could do something similar for the revive orb: Add an option whether or not choosing revive orb is displayed when you are downed. Problem solved once and for all, and works for everyone.

I had both bloodstone node and petrified wood node. Was able to purchase winterberry node, but it doesn’t show up in my home instance (gold and unbound magic were deducted).

If it’s not a bug, then they’ve changed the behavior of how repeatable hearts work. The locations of the hearts on the map have disappeared after I’ve explored them. It wasn’t doing this in Ember bay until recently. — Once you discovered the location of the heart on the map, it was always visible — whether it was completed or not.

I think having to re-discover the locations of repeatable hearts after every reset is not a wise move. Having to remember the locations and having to re-discover of all of them in every zone after each reset is not adding fun to the game.

The locations of the hearts in Bitterfrost have disappeared from the world map. I have to travel to near their locations for them to become visible. It’s like they have to be re-discovered, even after 100% completion of the zone.

(1) Remove some of the fog/shadow and increase brightness in Gilded Hollow. It’s got some fantastic artwork, and the majority of it is obscured. I understand the cave concept there, but it’s been taken too far. One of the reasons people don’t want to hang out in the guild hall is because you really can’t enjoy the scenery; things are obscured by fog/shadow so much, why even bother to decorate it? (btw — I run all graphics settings at max).

(2) In the placeables window(s), allow a “preview” of some kind so we can see the actual size of an item so we can decide if we want to craft it or not.

(3) Give us a way to “locate” items. As it stands, items can be lost in the guild hall — the only way to recover them is to recall all the items. That’s too extreme. Even if it’s only one item at a time in decorator mode — you could put a red dot on the map for each location of an item of a given type, similarly to how it’s done for yellow dots for guild members, or blue dots for party members.

(4) Give us a way to have signposts/billboards (or something comparable) that have their text always displayed (in contrast to the current signpost’s click-to-read-message).

(5) Increase the increment of population of the map that represents the guild hall so that you don’t have to change maps so frequently as more people enter/leave. (It would be even better if having to change maps as more people entered/left the guild hall wasn’t necessary at all).

Why not just make it an option/general of whether or not the revive orb choice displays. Should be very simple to do, I would think.

I see the Multi-Map as a bit different than the Dungeon paths. For things like Dungeon Paths the party selling the slot has to actually do work — i.e., get to the boss and defeat it. For LFG Multi-Map, the “seller” has to do nothing — just organize the group, and then kick people they don’t think deserve to loot at the end of the event.

I think Anet should really implement a timer that you can’t loot from the same event, regardless of the map you’re in, more frequently than once every <x> minutes.

So today I’m in LFG for Auric Basin and I see a listing that says “AB Multi-map/VIP 1g each”.

Is selling spots in a group allowed? I would think that accepting volunteered tips is fine, but to sell a spot in a group seems to be a way to make money in the game without playing the game.

Illconceived Was Na.9781:

There might be a cap on how many flax nodes you can harvest in BF or perhaps in certain spots in BF. At the two Flax Farms in the original HoT maps, they will disappear if, say, you harvested 4 on one map, changed maps and harvest 4 more in the node farm area — 5, 6, 7, & 8 will vanish, since we’re only allowed 8 nodes/day at each node farm.

I know it’s like this for some of the “farms”…..but this was for a couple one-node and two-node locations (they were the ones high up on floating rocks, largely by themselves). And then I looked through the map fpr a while and didn’t see any other flax nodes anywhere.

Are nodes themselves vanishing or just the map icons? Node icons on my map are very wonky in the Fen even if I’m not changing elevation. They constantly faze in and out. But the nodes themselves never vanish.

It’s the nodes themselves. I’m standing right next to it and it disappears.

I find I am frequently getting shot while stealth gliding in Bloodstone Fen. Isn’t stealth gliding supposed to keep us from getting hit, or does that only apply to certain situations?

I was gathering flax in Bloodstone Fen and when I finished gathering one node, the other two nearby flax nodes immediately vanished. The same thing is happening with the unstable magic orbs.

Are there some gathering quotas being applied in Bloodstone Fen? If so, can you please tell us what they are? If not, then I think there is a bug.

Please consider changing the behavior of Mawdrey II, Princess, Star of Gratitude, Sentient Anomaly, and the similar items so that the materials they consume don’t need to be in your inventory upon use, and instead draw from inventory, bank, and materials storage — the same way that materials are consumed for crafting.

→ New map zone: Awesome.
→ Chaos Fractal: Great.
→ QoL Stuff: Very cool…..New Gemstore item suggestion: Unlimited Use Junk Salvage/Sell tool.
→ Balance: understand the reasoning, but the Ele nerf seems a bit much to do all at once.

Overall, I think you guys did a great job with this update. If this is setting the bar for what we can expect every few months, then woot woot!!

I am playing on a 4k (3840×2160) monitor in windowed mode — window size is about 3200×2000 with a pair of gtx980ti in SLI with every graphics setting set to maximum. Depending on what I’m doing, I have seen fps of up to 150. I’ve since used RivaTuner to cap it at 60 and see most of the time it’s running about that – except for huge zerg fights. Other than that scenario, I very seldom see lag.

The game looks fantastic. I can really appreciate how much effort went into the artwork. But I agree with the UI size comments. A “huge” setting that is 20% larger than “large” for all the UI elements would be a tremendous help. It’s very hard to read the text in chat/dailies/story/etc and see the quantities of stacks for boons/conditions. And features on the minimap sometimes are impossible to notice.

Playing full screen at a lower resolution would remedy the issue, but I only have a single monitor so the need to have other windows open (which I always do when gaming) makes this a non-option for me.

It would be hugely helpful if there were an additional UI scale option for these larger resolution monitors.

Copter glider — rotating helicopter blades at the top of a pole popping up out of the backpack. Would be an awesome glider for engineers.
