If “overplayed” means “popular”, people seem to like their Rangers and Warriors. I feel I see them more than the other professions. I have one of each myself.

The Ele and Ranger:

My warrior (I also have a Ele and Ranger). I get a kick out of the size difference between Norn and the other races.

As is my way, I just picked a random area on the map, and headed off to explore. The journey itself, a combination of swimming and cliff jumping, was worth it alone. Swimming down one particular river, I decided on a whim to see what lie in the unexplored lands to my left. Just as I scaled the side of a mountain making it onto the plains that lie atop, I was greeted by a fearsome sight enveloping the whole of my view. Galloping down a trail from one side of the map to another were groups of Centaurs – many groups of Centaurs -in what seemed an endless procession numbering several score of the beasts at the very least. The sheer magnitude of scale, combined with the fear tinged awesome of such a force moving with such deadly purpose, stopped me cold in my tracks. I had never seen anything quite like it before … yet to know wherever this massive army was headed, there would be an equally determined band of players to meet this tidal wave of destruction head on -made it even that much better.

This will self correct.

I was one of those people who sold at minimum price at the Trading Post. Why? Because it is convenient, and I don’t actually lose money so much as make less money since objects fall from monsters by magic without my spending a dime to get them.

However, my run of the mill stuff is not selling. So now I vendor.

Others will figure this out and follow suit sooner or later.

Since you are brand new: Warrior and then Ranger. The skills, and skill interactions are very straight forward with these classes and work just how one would expect them to. The other classes require a slightly more advanced knowledge of how certain MMO concepts – such as healing, support and stealth- work.

I believe it is like football/soccer where you give the last pass which leads directly to another player scoring.
