At the lower levels, you will feel that you are not churning out as much damage as the other classes are but from my experience, it evens out when you reach 50+ or something.

I was thinking about abandoning my engineer once however I decided to continue since I already invested my time on it.

Now, I ain’t looking back because I’m having lots and lots of fun with my grenadier with elixirs build on WvW.

Going back to topic – only advice is to persevere. If you have any class-specific questions, you can send me a message.

Nice icky, that’s exactly what I was looking for….would you be able to post your build up so I can see where you put things?

I was thinking of using some sort of turret build….either full turret or turret support.

So I have been thinking about making an engineer but have heard bad things about them…IE their damage sucks, they can be squishy etc etc. So does anyone have any advice for starting an engineer?

but why can’t we trade with ourselves? makes things a hellva lot easier if we are no where near a major city.

I have just made a mesmer so I am still early levels with her but she is now on my top 3 characters list. The reason being is because YOU control the battlefield with a mesmer. Drop phantasms and clones. shatter them…boom, no more enemy. Can’t go wrong with that XD.

I am having a blast with my mes XD…thanks again for making this guide

Just unlocked weapon swapping so hopefully this will help.

Yes you keep all your characters and for now it is indeed free. I just did this 2 days ago.

One question though, I don’t see any healing skills on that build? Do you not use any?

This is looking great, very helpful for people wanting to try the class. I may make a mesmer so I’ll definitely keep an eye on this.

Hmm but three hits on them seems a little too easy to die which means faster aggro on me.

Is there a way to heal these things? I am having problems keeping my bone fiend alive, I should mention that I am still early in levels so does a skill come later for this?
