The most ideal would be 1 main force to hold back enemy zergs ’while rest are divided in multiple teams(havoc, SM defense, scout, portal squad, etc) spread over all 4 maps.
This requires a lot of coordination and experience o.o
Not the first Mass Exodus ET has seen, and there is no need to cry/post about it on the forums. But yes AKD, ET’s biggest WvW guild has transferred to DB leaving ET with pretty much nothing. If you gonna rq then fine but please don’t make a big deal out of it.
Regardless, at ross, look at scores atm for ET. ET defeated SF by a good margin, who was spawn camping kaining/dr recently (ended with over 300k points). Now ET is losing to dr and kaineng, and not by a small amount lol. The evidence seems to corroborate, even if it doesn’t quite prove, his story.
Hes just ragequitting, but Lions Arch in ET and Kaineng have become pretty much ghost towns…

It just depends on the guild mentality. Some guilds are “serious” about a videogame and they have high goals so their guildees tolerate the abuse and flaming they receive from their guild commanders/leader.
if you prefer the laidback guilds who are just out there to learn and have fun stay away from the serious ones.
Of those on SoR, are any open to low-rank, no-talent noobs that are willing to follow orders and want to learn to suck less?
You could try Hel (Helioz) who I’m told are a very friendly bunch, friend of mine plays with them and was new to WvWvW when he joined and was made very welcome.

ever since release the 4 WvW maps hasnt seen much changes… the wvw ranking system is great but it would be nice if some stuff was added to make fights/capturing more exciting.
underground tunnel network, AI champions following commanders, floating guildbases WvW player ladder, I don’t know if these things are even possible…
it’s my understanding that, for the first 3-5 minutes after capture (I don’t remember which, but I think it’s either 3 minutes or 5 minutes), an objective can only be claimed by the guild that had most of the players present for the capture. after that period, if the objective remains unclaimed anybody can claim it.
I don’t know the precise rules of how this works. if a zerg rolls through where 30 are from one guild, and 10 are from a mix of other guilds, the guild with 30 should be able to claim it right away (a clear majority). but if there are 20 from one guild, and 10 each from 3 other guilds (i.e. a plurality but not a majority) I have no idea what happens.

Agreed. After a guild claims a keep, it wouldnt hurt to make the requirement in keeping the claim higher. Something in the lines of: if no upgrades have been purchased after 1 minute the keep will be open for claim again. An anouncement in the teamchat would be nice too.
I always loved the fact you could raise your guild banners on a tower after a hard won battle, it made the victory sweeter.
My advice: There is 1 rule in organizing which MUST be followed in order to make an event enjoyable:
1) DO what you SAY.
When you rally in a BL, don’t go afk waiting for more. If raid starts at 8PM, then start it at 8PM. If you don’t, people will stop showing up at 8PM. If your raids are failing, its the fault of your organizer. NOT the members.
People should always listen to the commander. It also doesnt hurt to tell everyone in advance the big possibility were all going to get whiped, we learn from our mistakes and its no reason to roidrage.
It also helps to always use the same location for players to gather such as your own borderlands.
I would suggest rather than be put off by the raid mentality, play the game, find people with similar attitudes to your own and most importantly…….. Do not be afraid to venture out into WVW without the guild.
This is really hard for lowbies, they rely on zergs for exp/loot or just fun. Other than that yea theres always a pug zerg around in EBG that anyone can join.
Yes of course. The current PPT system is just fine, which I’m not worried about at all. If you don’t have coverage, bring coverage ! It’s not like Vizunah or Blackgate or SFR were born with it. Season means more lootbags, more guilds to fight ! WvW maps are always full and happy with people all around. Bring it on ! Only thing I wouldn’t want is the skill lags though. Btw I’m not from any T1 server. And yeah, fix the server population please, Underworld clearly isn’t a very high populated server.
Agreed. Maybe give the low population servers bonus buffs like +gold, +exp, +karma in the servers or offer a free transfer. And double the transfer free to high population servers or tripple charge players who have transferred more than once XD

The difficulty is not the complaint here. Personally I think its a great thing to make Teq difficult its challenging. but the overflows have a 99% failrate which means beating Teq requires luck. You have to be lucky enough to join the main server = RNG = Gasoline’s point.
I prefer that Teq is even more difficult, wayyyy more but requires less people to beat him like an instance.
