This is really frustrating when we have to sit here and do emails and tickets with no idea if anyone is looking at them…. Or no idea how far we are down the list. If you guys had a support number I have a feeling we’d get this stuff done a lot faster. I know many people can be jerks while calling…. but that is no excuse. This kinda stuff is really alienating. I am sure your support people have phones…. just give us a number xD
Our Support Team offered telephone support foa a number of years. Believe it or not, it actually took longer to resolve an issue via a phone call than it did via a ticket. We do hope to offer Live Chat / Live Help very soon, though, and I think this will meet the needs you’re speaking about.
I (Loyheta.7294) think I will take the phone number please. I doubt I’d have to sit there for a week to get some progress xD

I (Loyheta.7294) am in the same situation as well. My entry info was identical except I added my GW1 info into it. The registration decided that it would make an account with that email instead of the one I chose. I am going on 8 days waiting

The idea of making a new email is moot when you have to use the one from your GW1 account. So it is just full of it. I (Loyheta.7294) tried making an email for GW2 and GW2 alone but the registration decided to bind the key to my GW1 account and you can’t even change it! (well obviously you can since that account was hacked later on and the guy changed it.)

I (loyheta.7294) would do this and I am really poor right now. Although I haven’t seen an area to ENTER the serial key and I would REALLY not want to have 2 extra accounts while my main one sits waiting.
Yeah at first I (loyheta.7294) just had my key applied to the wrong account…. now I have the wrong account hacked…. so two tickets one at 7 days the other at 1 day. I am going crazy not being able to play.
W00t I (loyheta.7294) am so upset I resubbed to a game I really dislike with the money I was going to use on the cash shop for here!
you guys should get some temps for going through all these tickets and you can focus your own people on beefing up the security on all these systems (email and password change and credit card security code) I (loyheta.7294) am waiting for a reply on two tickets one from last week requesting my serial code be moved to the correct account and the other about my [wrong] account being hacked
New update: I (loyheta.7294 and loyheta.5638) (my .5638 account was supposed to be the .7294 but the sloppy registration messed this up) have been hacked, now my .5638 account is gone along with my GW1 account, I have been waiting over a week with no reply to my ticket. I am losing all faith in ANet… the amazingness of the game is starting to look less attractive in the light of all these major screw ups with their systems and neglect on the part of support. I know they are normal people and I feel sorry for them… but at this point they should hire on some temp people to help with this as the longer this takes the more likely they are going to lose massive amounts of money and only have bad publicity.
Please ANet… get some temp support people… please remove ALL credit cards and disable the ability to save them till you have an option to remotely remove it and add security authentications for the card and accounts. Don’t even let people log in from a different IP address til they have approval. Please please please don’t lose your greatness because of these things… just go the extra mile (like you have done with the game) and get more people on support.
Turns out I was wrong…. I was hacked while waiting for this issue to be fixed. facepalm this is disastrous. I have no idea what this “fan site” was but I think the only one that shares this email is curse. So unless Curse got hacked I think you guys are lying to us…. but if my accounts were fixed I honestly wouldn’t care. Just fix the problems please and put some authentication stuff up
I am using my gf’s account right now (this is Loyheta). I don’t know if they are working on my problem right now or maybe someone just did half of the job but I can not log into the support forums any longer. I can log into the account I want my serial key on but the key is not applied. So it seems they deleted my old account without moving the key over to the one I want (Loyheta.7294). I have no email discussing this so i have no idea what is going on.
