Bringer of Hellfire & “Dirtnapping Diva”
Leader, Transcendent Veneration [TV] – Tarnished Coast
Biggest issue is really who has space for 300 people, any of the above mentioned servers would be great but since WvWvW numbers and PvE numbers arent seperate most servers are full due to heavy PvE related people.
OP mentioned they’re not 300 strong but rather circa 90 or so. I don’t think it’d be a big strain on a populated server (presuming this type of server is inviting) because the most action will be seen as the matches are duked out and the action scales accordingly.
All in all, here’s to hoping you find a happy home on whichever server you choose to make your destination!
I’m still vying for further bolstering our ranks in prep for a possible T3 lead continuation..
Great community, and highly cooperative tactics for the underestimated unofficial RP server!
I can’t say for certain the exact amount of presence for Tarnished Coast (the Toast) around 12-4 pm EST (as I’m typically on around 3 EST during the week) but our forces tend to fill out as people return from work/etc. This week (Tier 3), CD has reclaimed most of what we conquered late night/early mornings so that early afternoon would be prime time to retake these points.
Any other Toasters feel free to chime in and fill in my blanks but we’re always welcoming new and eager forces to the good fight.

2 things I’ll chime in on.
60 man zerg from TC? WHERE? This coming from someone who’s consistently in EB with a large group that’s rarely ever that large. A handful of our commanders garner a dedicated following when they show but while those followers may be in great number, they’re rarely ever that concentrated on one point. Why? Cooperation and coordination requires the manipulation of multiple points on the map. We’re rarely stacked that high. If you’ve ever been part of a zerg you’ll realize that the very mentality is prone to ADOS (Attention Deficit – ooh, shiny!) and many will peel off in the direction of 1-2 reds instead of the destination.
I’ll give a hand to those CDers who reclaimed Pangloss after facing our ballista ’n arrow cart setup (and then adopted the strategy). Man, that front line sure is painful being a pincushion!
Lastly..
I’ve indeed seen a number of CD leapsters (hax) in the jumping puzzle, which stinks. Though I’ll say it gave me a good scare (and subsequent laugh) the first time I saw someone flailing in the top righthand corner of my screen and screaming, only to catch them clearing the cliff jump from the crystal and across the pond afterward. >> Impressive distance crossing. Too fast for me to click and report, sadly.
To those of you CD in the jumping puzzle that are friendlies – we acknowledge you and happily cooperate!
So far it’s been a phenomenal match up with a constant grapple for holding points. It has indeed made for a lot of laughs (including the /sleep pile, which was hysterical).
We just graduated in a way from an absolute steamroll last week to facing off with CD and HoD and it’s been a lot more fun. Thanks for all of you who have come out to meet us and who have kept us on our toes!
I rather enjoy this frequent flipping of points. XD Keeps us from getting bored and always learning.
There are some really great suggestions in here!
All in all, take your time to learn your abilities. Read over the tooltips, try out different ‘patterns’ of openers, finishers, etc. But certainly stick to mobs your own level, or lower, and practice pulling one, then two, then three etc as you go along.
Even for a not so noob player, I’m prone to charging headlong into multiple mobs because I didn’t see them and end up aggroing a family that’s verrrry angry. XD You can also travel main roads on maps until you get a waypoint, then strike out in the immediate area.
Chin up!

I couldn’t resist dropping in my hear hear cheers for TV! I’ve found a tremendously happy home in their ranks even after coming to GW2 with a number of friends. They’re such a solid and friendly group with a wide array of interests.
Chat us up any time, any place and join the fun. See you in Tyria!
So far, in the hour and 15 minutes I’ve been on I’ve crashed 3 different times. However, this only happened to me in Lion’s Arch.
I haven’t been elsewhere (Eternal Battlegrounds) but not for long enough to really tell.
Me again, posting on this thread over the other as Jeffrey cited it.
I reattempted this story step solo, waiting patiently through each step with no bypasses or skips, and searched the area high and low a number of times, both where they spawned as well as the gate and covered inches with AoE to try and hit something maybe invisible.
..to no avail.
:(
We’re looking forward to a resolution – I’ve had friends with ‘buggy’ experiences but nothing that blocked progress entirely. You’re welcome, too, to ‘drive’ my toon and see for yourself! If it’ll help.
Hi Jeff,
The first 5 attempts made was co-op with 1 other player..we even hunted to the ends of the maps for any stragglers or bridge lurkers. No dice.
I’ve just done it solo, as well, and have no stragglers but am hung up on the same point in the story instance.. =/
I’m also having the same trouble as Sojar – restarted 3 times.. still no giants spawned and no stragglers left.
