LF> a hardcore/speed run dungeoning group who can run dungeons GMT +8 (7pm-11pm) everyday, maybe earlier on weekends.

I main warrior/guard for dungeoning, have the necessarily builds and food for speed runs.

Guild Raid Hours: (Please convert to your own timezone if i did not list it below)

“I would like to iterate that we are not [qT]/[SC]/[insert your guild] standard, but we enforce efficient and effective clears. Therefore, [XI] will conduct trials for all raid members applying.”

[Monday] Application: OPEN
[GMT +8 (SEA) | 8pm] / [GMT +1 (LDN) | 1pm] / [GMT -4 (CAN) | 8am]
- Monday is the CORE team clears, aka serious clears. Applications for this team is currently open as member availability due to work/school/navy fluctuate.

[Sunday] Application: OPEN
[GMT +8 (SEA) | 8pm] / [GMT +1 (LDN) | 1pm] / [GMT -4 (CAN) | 8am]
- Sunday is the “I’m too busy for Monday” team, and we will only clear bosses that members require if they have not obtained it during the week. In addition, Sunday slots are saved for raid achievements & hearts, guild missions if raids are not priority.

[Tuesday – Saturday]
-Usually same time as above, however these days are just subjected if Monday raids are cancelled/ new raid wing releases (Tuesday)/ etc. Not required to attend.

Raid Requirements

• Read and understood the above and is/are available for selected time slot.
• Available for 3 hours maximum from stipulated time slot.
• TS3 & Discord is required, microphone optional. TS3 is our main voice communication, discord for raid announcements.
• Representation during [XI] raid time slots when we are making videos or streaming, otherwise no representation required. It is also recommended to UNMUTE our guild chat as it is a source for announcements.
• Trials, in addition to specific requirements listed below, will require PROFICIENT understanding of raid mechanics. We WILL NOT tolerate players who make countless mistakes during the trial run.
• Profession specific requirements when applying to [XI] as follows, in order of relevance:

“I’m tired of playing my role… can we let the new members play it for me, please?.”

{Druid} Application: 1 Slot

• Trials will cover flaking, orb pushing, and a random GoTL log during a run.

{Condi PS} Application: 1 Slot

• Trials will cover a dps check against the guild condi PS, and might uptime logs.

{DPS} Application: 1 Slot

• Required to have an elementalist and condi profession as a baseline.
• Trials will cover a dps check against the guild dps, on raid bosses that will be mentioned or picked at random to ensure fair and constant dps.

Note on trials:

I MUST ENFORCE that trials are of guild standard and NOT elite standard, it will depend on guild averages (which are considerably lower) to be fair for players. Also, the logs that we will use to check up time will be chosen at RANDOM during your trial run with us, unless specified to you personally. We will also work with you to locate you a suitable time slot for your trial (Monday/Sunday mainly since its raid days).

If you are interested in registering for our core, mail me in game @ my user on the left side of the post and we will cook up an interview time to get you through. Also you might be required to run a trial run to see how to fit with everyone else.

Recruitment Requirements

• Representation of the guild is mandatory for new comers during times where you do activities with the guild. We expect the new XI members to warm up to the guild before unrepping for other responsibilities. After all, family is family and you would just be melting our popsicles if you aren’t part of it.

I am capable of soloing all the bosses in arah p2/p3 but i want to expand my options to p4 as well.

If anyone here is interested to do arah runs with me, please do contact me.

Also to be a bit more specific, i am looking for an experienced player in arah that could have an option to run thief for stealth. Else a more dps spec class is fine.

General Notes:
Dungeons mandatory in daily:
1. AC P1/P2/P3 ~4.5g
2. CM P1/P2/P3 ~3g

Hi, i am looking to join a speed clearing pve oriented guild that does dungeons, fractals occasionally and guild missions.
I play in the GMT +8 Timezone, or 4am to 8am PST/PDT timings on weekdays, and 24/7 on weekends more or less (however i save weekends for pvping)
I will rep 80-99% of the time, the other would be personal bank and pvp guilds if needed.
I currently own, fully geared and ready, with 1) being the most preferred class to play:

I think its really self explanatory.

Probably mentioned before but i think this should be stressed a lot more. PvP is getting a lot of attention lately and i think its fair wvw gets the fair share.

Why not add special finishers and titles for wvw? maybe every 100 ranks or 200 ranks? Would be cool. Just a thought!

This might be a rant but recently i have been losing a lot in solo queues and sometimes being a huge burden in tpvp. I really love pvp, and wvw and i really want to be and asset to any team i belong in even 4 newbies. There has to be a reason why the regular pros are always on the leaderboards, josre for example has been on the leaderboards since forever.

The problem with me is i can never choose my class i like, i play them for a week then i end up in a losing streak and hate the class. My play style is sort of like standing right in the middle of team fights, and also going for nodes that are empty after respawn. I can’t really 1v1 properly and its been frustrating lately. Im just lost and i don’t know which character class to play. I know in the end i have to choose it myself but i am really heavily influenced on opinions.

I am currently open to try any class, with engineer/war/ranger being my past “150 solo queue wins” classes (say the most knowledgable). If possible i would enjoy the company of a mentor to teach me the rotations in pvp and mechanics of 1v1, 1v2. I really hope when the week end comes i would settle into one class and be happy with it.

I appreciate all comments that would contribute to my depression with this game lel. Not really in the mood for any trolling.

The power build 6/6/2 zerker lb/gs, just get better with it. You still won’t beat most d/d eles atm or tanky wars (soldier or tankier) but you can beat everything else. Will probably be better after patch.

The condi build, either variant that is posted can pretty easily out damage anything except war in the current meta. Focuses on baiting out dodges/condi clears, land a spider immob or drakehound immob (whichever you prefer) and then condi load them up. Tactics like chilling eles after water attunement or engi’s after their heal are both very useful, but you can just condi load an engi after their heal and they will be screwed. I would suggest one of these variants, mess with it how you want, but I suggest poison master over empathic bond if you can dodge/handle the condis with the just SoR and/or healing spring.

Or go spirits, don’t 1 v 1, just roll with your team and try to be a support/rez bot.

Okay guys heres the deal, i’ve been getting opinions lately from many people ( friends) on the classes that are good solo queue and team queue. I am aware that these questions might have been asked before, but i really need more opinions to decide on this.

With the upcoming september feature patch, i was wondering what would be a good classes to play, not just because its op (ahem mesmers), but something very stable in aiding solo and team queues.

Been losing a lot of solo queues lately so maybe a few tips could be shared, however the main point of this thread is for me to decide which class i should put time into practising.

Here are some characteristics of me to help choose a class,

1) I would like something mobile, enough to travel more than just swiftness.
2) A class that has potential in 70-80% 1v1’s, and is capable of aiding mid but not right smack in the middle tanking.
3) Hopefully can escape fights that are not meant to be.

Other specifications include:
I hate thief playing as and being up against one. ( No thief’s cause i find it hard to learn?)
Guardians are meh to me.
I hate playing turret engis/mm necro

Sigh the bottom line is, if you ignored everything i said, i just want a class that i can feel comfortable with. I know its my own opinion to choose but i would really love your opinions on this because it does help in a certain way so yeah, help!
