Indeed. I would like it so I explicitly know if my crap drops are either from DR or just because I have bad luck. If it turns out that I’m getting bad drops without DR over a long period, well that is another problem entirely. But at least this helps me to figure out what my prooblem is.
All I know is that the two orichalcum veins I knew the locations of keep moving.
Is this related to their diminishing returns mechanic?
As far as I know, no it is not. Usually if I go from an overflow to a regular server, some of the nodes move around.

Recently posted a thread on another sub-forum about how Diminishing Return (DR) works. I proposed the idea of a DR indicator that tells you how close to DR or how far into DR you are. For example, if you farm for crafting equipment for an hour an indicator would pop up that says:
Diminishing Return Penalty: 30%
This simple indicator would inform you: 1) you have a DR on your character 2) How much DR 3) It would disappear when your DR would go away, so it would tell you for how long you have this penalty.
With this, I could be farming for claws, fangs, blood, etc. in my favorite area and know when to leave for another so my loot doesn’t turn to garbage.
I am going to post a suggestion for a DR indicator on the suggestions now if it isn’t already there.
Very informative, I’m curious to know how you gained this knowledge. Was it through experience or is there a source I can thumb through?
But I would like to suggest that AN put a DR indicator, especially since it follows you through a different zone.
So I’m looking at some of the threads of people complaining about how Diminishing Return (DR) will cripple crafting professions more then it will deter botters. I usually have 1 place in each area I like to gather mats for crafting. Now I hear that if I stay in one place and kill, say centaurs, too long that eventually my drops become nill. My questions on this are:
1) Is DR based on how long you are in an area or how many creatures within that area you slay? Does the DR start immediatly or is there a delay before it kicks in?
2) How big is the “area” that a particular DR effects?
3) How do I reset a DR in an area? If I go to an adjacent area and kill 1 monster does it reset for that previous area? Is there a cooldown period?
4) More a suggestion then an actual question but: Would it be possible to put indicator for how high your diminishing return is in a particular area, dungeon, or dynamic event, whether it be a percentage or a number from 1-10?
I apologize for any typos or misconceptions. From what I read it sounds like DR will turn me from a self-sufficient crafter, to one that is dependent on the TP to get necessary mats due to nerfed farming.

Seriously? The rest of the tier 1-3 armor looks fine, but the facemask part just does not look right. Right now I’m at tier 1 and the weird looking wolf muzzle looks awkward and out of place. My opinion, replace the wolf mouth with a wolf headdress.

How do you check parked status?
I think you are trying to say too much in such a short post. I find it quite hard to understand what you are trying to say, but will try to answer accordingly:
1) You can bind whatever spell to any button. How it is used is up to you, to select a different target to cast a heal on just tab to your next target. As far as macros, I think having macros takes a bit of the “skill” out of the game that sets GWII apart.
2) I’ve bound a few actions to my mouse without any issue. Don’t see why you would want to unbind the zoom in and out from the scroll in and out, it is quite useful. Might want to check your mouse drivers.
3) Your last paragraph I was completely lost on.
Please take a bit more time to reread your post before posting.

My buddy just bought this game and gets the same error. I have stepped him through everything you said: router reset, bypassing router, updating all hardware software/firmware, firewall deactivated, etc.
He says he can play WoW and EverQuest fine on the same computer…what gives?
