his bug just hit me tonight half way through my dailies in pvp.
I got daily kills, salvaged a few items and then it stopped at 80% and matches stayed at 66% even though I played 6 games.
Progression on the PvP track also stopped where it was after the award of a chest in first game played.
Logged off back onto same toon made no difference. Logged to different toon and could recylcle stuff but made no difference when I went back to pvp.
Went to WvW on a 3rd recycler works defender done and tower done so got 5 daily but the completioist in me wants all 10 but pvp will not progress and went back for game 7.

As a Brit on NA servers the set times of Teq, Karka and Wurm will mean I will be unable to complete them.
One set is early hours of morning so asleep. The next set is midday so will be at work and NA will be getting up or still in bed. Might be good at the weekends to match up with my Pacific friends though?
Third set best times for me as early evening but NA still at work so will be unlikely to find these times full.
Fixed at 3 times a days is a bit of a joke.
The ability of the large guilds like TTS to help out small guilds/ no guild players on home servers goes out the window. I know many players who have have only been able to complete Teq/Karka becasue of TTS guesting to different server each day and home server players been able to join in.
Perhaps an Anet member or 2 should join TTS or one of the other cross server guilds set up for big events to actually understand how these guilds work?
With no specific servers the ability to do certain dungeons means being forced to complete the chain quests before the dungeon is open. Better if you just leave all dungeon WPs open all the time.
Impact on Arah looks like it will be damaging but I need to give that some more thought.
If you are going down this route, which lets face it you have already decided to do – so this feedback with less than 2 weeks to go is bogus – open up the ability as in GW1 where you can choose euro/NA/International servers.
I do not want to be forced to leave my NA server and many friends made over the years from GW1 because I will be unable to do events due to prime times being so different.

I know that. Group of us did every DEFEND event and did not get reward for Triple Play and I also did not get the Traders one.

Just done Ehmry Bay main, was present for every Defend event they all were successful wins yet no reward for Triple Play or Traders Forum.
Please Anet get rid of this bonus.
Vanity or Convenience is fine, but commercial gain from paying for item is wrong and why I have always loved GW/GW2.

Just spent 4.5 hours in TM W2Z3 painstakingly working my way through. to get a server disconnect. Mad? Absolutely frelling livid. This content is the biggest waste of time and development money. And Josh if you think this is fun then you are full of dren and seriously need to look at some lectures on making games.

Yes Josh you said up front it was punishing that I can live with. I’ll sit here and work my through it. But when I lose 4.5 hours through a server disconnect and cannot go back in to where I was that is just plain sadistic.
W2 zones 2 & 3 are just plainly too long.
Either sort it or never bring this dren back.
Same message keeps appearing and i cannot join a party in Fractals. Could set my own fractal up and invited others and they could not join me. Mind you this party glitch crap has been going on forever.
The usual fix of guesting to another server does not work this time.
This bug is so frelling frustrating. I am not the best at these jumping things but I painstakingly take my time and keep going and going. Imagine my frustration 3 hours into this zone when I make the cloud checkpoint and then die to re-spawn back to the previous one which kills you instantly you rez. Super po’d right now.
Worst daily ever as you have no control whether it will succeed or not.

Spoken like true casual gamers.
No punishment and no risk means your achievements are empty. Just like the daily gathering achievement. Just another one of those laundry list of boring things to do.
No way could you accuse me of being a casual gamer as I’ve logged over 2800 hours on GW2. Like the OP I have put in a lot of time/effort/research (changed up builds time and again) in trying to beat Liadri. And it is absolutely fine that I may not beat her or Chomper the wonderdog because for whatever reason maybe I am not good enough to beat them.
But I want to keep trying as I love the challenge aspect of this but I detest the frustration of the wait time/run time/ticket cost/farm time.

Having to WP back – run back
Waiting for a rez
Queuing for the fight
Buying costs / Farming Time

I am getting so fed up with contested waypoints to get into a dungeon.
Okay so we do the event to open the dungeon and happy to do that. But when you come out and want to do the next path to have to uncontest the dungeon WP yet again it is boring.
Okay so we can guest to another server. We had everyone in our party guest to different servers and all contested. And this was on the most farmed dungeon. So the less done dungeons has to be even worse.
Can we please sort this out so we don’t have to uncontest the waypoints every time?
With the up coming changes in dungeon rewards ( I guess to stop farming and a good idea ) can you see your way to allow uncontested access to dungeon WPs?
When you delete a character, you have to type in the name. How about when you go to transfer, you have to type in “Transfer”, “Confirm”, or something.
Yes, that would do it. Great idea.
Not sure how often people transfer worlds and I have deleted more toons than changed worlds.
So come on ANET just make this small change on confirmation of transferring worlds.

Okay firstly my fault for not looking.
Was trying to find an open server for CoF explorable to help a group out and hit transfer before I realisded what I was doing confirmed it and now 1000 gems lighter. And I guess in 7 days another 1000 gems lighter to get back to my home server.
As I said my fault for not looking but I’ve just guested so many times it happened.
My suggestions
Stop having Dungeon entrances contested – so gusting is not required.
Add in a extra reminder/confirmation when transferring rather than guesting.
Lesson learnt but feeling so so annoyed right now. More at myself than ANET but I think the above could stop this.
This works for me: Before you go to the jumping puzzle area you have a platform between the second bridge and the last bridge and there is a device that you use to stop the lightnings in the bridge. After you turn off the device you can continue the dungeon without the npc becoming stuck.
The problem here is that must players skip that part of the dungeon, because the device is well hidden, and when players skip it, the npc will come along after you complete the next part and will become stuck after the jumping puzzle.
Note 1: If you didn’t turn off the device and you continued the dungeon, the npc will come along and will become stuck, and even if you turn off the device after doing the jumping puzzle the dungeon will continue bugged.
Note 2: I didn’t tried to bug the dungeon after the last update.
We went back after she bugged and tripped this switch and she then moved but wouldn’t open the barrier when she got there

Yep filling up in EB is now immaterial. I just want to get the content done but can’t as we are are in a much higher tier this week and cannot even get into the puzzle for most of the time as keep is constantly in other servers hands. When you can get in you just get killed by grievers.

Great supporter of ANET and all the FREE content but please do not treat us as idiots and dress up old jumping puzzles as new content within the Sky Pirates story with silly pirate caches at the end.
I did the JP’s first time around and not overly keen in having to do old content again.
Likewise the holograms regurgitated again.
However the dungeon looks good, got some interesting mechanics and is a challenge.
Look forward to the NEW jump puzzle.

Out of order putting this Cache in here.
My Xonar DG card was making popping sounds and strange noises but at very low levels that were not loud enough to stop me playing GW2 for 10 months! However, have been getting crashes which result in BSOD and white nosie over speakers/headset and I guess this to be Audio related. Yesterday I decided to remove the Sound Card and install drivers to use on board sound. So far no crashes.
However, now I cannot hear ‘For Great Justice’ (some may think it is a blessing) or any other shout on my warrior or guardian. Music, environmentals, weapon effects, cut scene all seem to work okay. Dungeon effects were a bit weird in CoF as depending on which way character was facing this gave a low or normal affect when the NPC’s were talking, esp path 1.
My system is relatively new
Intel i5 3570 @ 3.40GHz Quad Core
8MB Ram
Win 7
AMD Radeon HD7800 2GB
Any ides to resolve would be appreciated.
Sound choice in Options appear somewhat limited.
Edit: Just found out that Shouts sounds only not working when Headphone connected. On speakers seems to work. But in busy house headphones are a must so still need to solve. But probably a setup in drivers rather than GW problem

Just done Story Mode on my Warrior no reward on beating Canach.
Got reward on my necro and mes 1st time through last night after the initial fix. But nothing on warrior first time through

Before the update I was ahead of my good friend by 1 point! (we have a little friendly rivalry going on) Now (and he has not logged on yet) he is 16 points ahead.
I believe from the wiki that Carver was 17 points so it appears (unless any other AP have been affected) that this isn’t applied to everyone)
So the AP got mucked up again! But I am sure you will sort it.
I’ll play a few dungeons first but my initial reaction is dislike for this move. We have already seen that in CoF unless you are a Mesmer or Warrior/Guardian it is hard to find a decent PUG during recent weeks.
This I think will drive even more elitism in dungeons and specific group make up requests. People who have not been in dungeons before will not be welcomed. Just look at all the Arah requests in gw2lfg. If you have no exp in this dungeon you are not wanted and having recently done P2 and 3 which are the easiest you will need a group with a lot of patience (which we had) to take new people through it.
Those that have done dungeons regularly will of course have no trouble and the elitists will be welcoming this stopping of so called zerging a boss. Not convniced and will cause a lot of unecessary angst in some paths that are already hard.
I died just before the Ancient was destroyed. I Way pointed back to Camp Karka and took the long trek back to final event. I missed getting the cut scene but was lucky enough to still get the chest.
My daughter however could not get back on after severe lag issues and loss of connection. I assume that the logon server went down for our area in Europe as we could not logon to GW2 or GW1 or the forums here to post about what was happening and had to resort to facebook to post that there was a problem.
My daughter is obviously upset that she spent 2 and half hours fighting through lag and disconnections to end up not getting the chest.
I was also annoyed that it took so long for Anet to come on here or post in FB or Twitter to confirm that there was an issue.

I am a massive Anet advocate having played GW1 for years and have argued against many people on numerous occasions that GW2 would be fine in the longer term. but and it is a big but I find it very hard to defend you for this event.
Cons
Trial weekend at same time as major event was naive at best. You upset prospective future players and the current players at the same time.
Bugged 1st phase story lines – never completed mine after numerous attempts
1st and last event too many people in the server/overflows leading to lag issues
Last event too long, boring tedious and repetitive. Without lag issues might have been quicker and more fun. 2 and half hours to complete the event was less than epic!
Trialists getting precursor weapons as a reward is just wrong.
People disconnected from final event did not get chests. My daughter was partied up with me and was disconnected 3 times and the final time the password servers obviously went down and she could not get back on. She could not get on GW1 or forums either to post about this.
Lack of information from ANET in the Forums about the server issues is inexcusable.
Lack of sorry we got this event wrong. I trust you will learn from it.
The rewards were excessive and panders to the “we want stuff now” brigade. Compared to the rewards from dungeons to the 2 and half hours it took to complete this event the loot was way excessive.

Fractals dungeon – interesting, fun, challenging and long term rewards
Graphics superb through event new area and the fractals dungeon.
20 slot bag reward was awesome!
Pre event warnings were fine andf timely which should allow most people to plan their times. Glad I’m not in Australia though! Perhaps local server timed events would be better?
Moving gathering tools to account bound – great but not event related.
Overall nowhere near as good as Mad King’s event was.
Confirmed. Oon moving to the Chest seal party member fell off with hammer and could not continue.

Okay instead of healing up I let myself die and got restart from checkpoint. it takes you to the other side of the windy cave. What a total waste of time.
I wished I had never bothered with the Priory route. This silly initial part in Windy Cave for part 33 of the personal story is extremely annoying, frustrating and total waste of my game time. I have better things to do than waste hours on it but have to do it to continue the storyline. Please get rid of it.

Ignore the constant Whinging ANET. Most people who are more than happy with the event don’t bother posting their praise and thanks.
The party I was with thought the event was the best Halloween event ever by GW and the rewards were more than fair.
It is obvious that a major event you can repeat will have diminishing returns to stop idiots farming all the time.
Major kudos ANET on a great job well done.
I have killed a number of giants in cursed shore and not once does this give a credit to this title.
In Dredgehaunt Cliffs there is a area called Dissun’s Mine. Not having stumbled on the obvious entry point to it I found a way to get on top of Dissuns mine. You could look into the mine and try to drop down from various points but then you get stuck in the walls and cannot get to the cave floor.
I even opened up the POI by dropping down from the roof but it would not allow you to actually move in the mine. After 4-5 attempts and the cost of over 1 silver a time to get back to the way point I found the entrance elsewhere.
Can access to the roof be cut off? As it is very frustrating to see a way in to the mine to only get caught up in the roof/walls.
