Carver is pulling a disappearing act it seems, he’s into magic as well.

He pulled the same act back a few months ago with the arrow cart mastery, it was glorious. A modern day Dumbledore, hell, even he is taking notes on the magnificent Carver.

kitten no, this patch was/is beyond terrible. The orb buffs were taken out for a reason, now its even more ridiculous since theyre near impossible to defend.

I’ll just say, theres a reason why hardly no yaks are presence and we aren’t upgrading anything. :P

The sad part is with this in… 3 days? One terrible reply.

We can only hope they listen to their community for a change, maybe we just need more threads. Have something more popular than the SPVP mechanic? Lets ruin that. Make WvW harder for underpopulated servers, and tell them to try harder to get more people out to WvW? Sure, why not! Give me a kittening break.

Look at T3 in NA right now. I can only imagine fighting DB with +150 to all stats too, balance away ANET! I’ve seen so many people in yaks bend not want to WvW this week, or even say theyre going to quit over that kitten as is. Lets make it more impossible for them!

A definite no for the stat bonuses.

I know most of us in yaks haven’t even bothered hitting Kain because there is no one to fight anyways.

Congrats on holding them 3-4 keeps, ask CD where most of yaks has been recently! :p

If youre actually happy during NA hours with 0 keeps pretty much, yeah, kaineng is definitely a live server that needs to be in t4!

Yaks has guilds out there, CD has guilds out there, Kain has 0. The tier would be 100x more fun for another decent server in the bracket besides kain. I know most of us in yaks haven’t even bothered hitting Kain because there is no one to fight anyways.

The whole reason us [One] guys have been pushing PPT is to fight better guilds/fights without having to transfer. Being in the lower tiers you don’t get to have fun fights anymore.

I know we deeply miss T3/T4, and wvw has been quite dull the last few nights definitely with kaineng in the tier. If BP or another server was in this tier it would actually be quite fun. The worst part about it all, Kaineng gained more points this week T________T. WvW no fun when one server is nonexistent.

You barely don’t get fights either since no one can compete with the monster clump you guys do. 3-5 organized guilds all in a ball, break those up and you might actually get fights. :O

For you CD guys, if you guys broke up those monster clumps you guys love to travel around with, you might be doing much better point wise. Sitting in EBG with 70 or so people accomplishing nothing is not good time management.

[One] really doesn’t play for points either. We roam map to map looking for fights, possibly flipping keeps or coming to the aid of our server if a fight is brewing since we’re always located in the servers TS3.

Us [One] guys are the lunatics who go golem crazy in the morning hours. It’s just for fun, fighting these lower tiers is all about WXP till we eventually get up in tiers. :p Why not use it! It’s great the things you can accomplish when your guild works together.

But overall, like last night, and many other nights before that. You guys had supreme numbers by far like 3-5 guilds vs just ours :p. Splitting your forces up will give you more rewarding fights. Us [One] guys still ran into you, like last night for example when you guys outnumbered us 2:1 since its the closest thing we can get for good fights in this tier.

During NA hours, you guys are definitely much stronger then yaks bend. I hope if we run into you guys again, you split them massive groups you guys have up a bit though.

In the lower tiers, you will only find worse guilds in open field combat. If you’re wanting to excel as a guild other than slaughtering pug groups – PPT might be something you’ll care about. I would think you would want more fights with us [One] guys, I am sure you guys picked up a bit more things in your arsenal this week after fighting a stronger guild than just a normal zerg, yeah?

A few things,

Starting off – thank you SBI/NSP for the massive amount of WXP this morning. Our [One] guys were all popping our wxp boosters – gained 13 levels in just a few hours of keep swapping. :p

For SBI – good week with you guys. I don’t understand your server that much though, you guys have great numbers and ability to actually push PPT but you dont choose to do that. I don’t understand why though. Last night a prime example when we were running around – In danelon, it was just our [One] guys and some off our TS3. You guys had 3+ guilds in there trying to working together vs only one. We had 35 people only at our peak. You guys even overkilled it moreso with siege. I know a lot of your guilds like TE and BEAST are learning open field combat, but practicing by yourselves is better than just sheer numbers.

Breaking those guilds up, could of won you this week I believe.

Thanks for the kind comment. I know I tried to do some serious baiting of you guys earlier in the thread, but running into TE, MLA, and BEAST – is something we look forward too. We are getting much rustier being in lower tiers which is no bueno.(about 50% of the things we were doing in t3, etc. we don’t even do anymore) You guys have much to learn in open field fighting, youre going in the right direction though!

Apologies for focusing you guys so much lately, NSP has no organized guild for WvW. And fighting roaming groups with ours is not really entertaining. :S

I hope you guys picked up some new things running into us as well!

On the Yaks Bend side, don’t put the whole pie in our hands. Yaks Bend had a beyond terrible group running our forums, mumble, etc. Now it’s been reorganized, and things are better than they have ever been. 0 drama on our server, and everyone making good strides after months and months of drama. The last month or so has been fascinating!

In conclusion, if you have questions on open field fighting, feel free to send me a mail in game (Chris Goes Boom or Chris.4527) – would love better fights from lower tier servers out there.

Ever since the start of the month during NA prime time, our connections turn to unplayable. I have to log on at 4am and I get to play till noon without any lag interruptions, then after that it is downright ridiculous.

I am in Lima, Peru(South America) – been in NA for a long time, but down here visiting my wife, and unable to play my game that I enjoy since the start of July. I’ve raised hell with the ISPs, and there is so only so much they can do – ive had every little setting even in my router tweaked to different things to try it out, nothing.

Help us.

This is ridiculous, I am visiting my wife’s family in south america for the next 2 months. I can’t play the game at all, and it randomly happened the start of the month. It is on your end ANET – for it to happen on a patch, obvious much?

Well we’re on day 3! Pretty sad – the game I played for the past 8 months. I can’t even get a reply about my concern.

Home from work…… day 2 slowly coming to a close. Maybe day 3 when we reach 1500 replies we will get a message from Anet!

So are we on day 2 now after patch? …. 1.1k posts nearly and still no Anet reply. It is rather depressing that I’ve put so much actual time and money into helping this company grow and they won’t even give us a reply.

As stated, this patch is absolutely dumbfounding. I would love to know why Anet thought putting such a huge change into this game without giving any public acknowledgement beforehand was an actual good idea.

Class nerfs/buffs? Cool – I can deal with that. Destroying what WvW was founded upon? Seriously? At least other companies would acknowledge the mistake(and say what is going on internally) or at least tell us it isn’t going anywhere for the people who pretty much stopped playing because of it. Keeping silent about it? ANet is on the fast track to putting itself up there with EA soon.

Well we’re about to hit the 1,000 reply mark, lets hope by 2,000 we actually get ANet to reply.

You’d think with a 900 post thread this would be top priority….

Whoever in ANet thought this was a good idea has no idea whatsoever how WvW is run. And did not even give such a game changing/breaking “buff” any public acknowledgement about this before making it public.

I run a 30 man organized guild, and tonight we decided to just log off.

We hit Hills, the enemy flooded hills with nothing but carts/superior carts. The increased range and damage, they were hitting us from the inner gate waaaaaaay on the outter. We could not get out of it, and the insane damage on top of that, absolutely ridiculous.

I will be looking for a new game in the mean time to possibly enjoy with my guild. kitten this.

This idea was absolutely absurd… I’ve been rooting for Anet for so long, but this is absolutely ridiculous. I have over 40,000+ WvW kills – countless WvW hours logged – and taking a keep is nearly impossible at this point when 2 superior carts can counter 50+ people when they’re super cheap to build.

Superior carts were already stupidly strong. Now you give them the ability to give 1.8k+ per hit?

2 sup carts = 4k per blast… don’t carts blow off 2 hits per second?

You’re looking at 8k+ per second.

I for one, will be finding a new game, good job ANet.

I’m so tired of attacking Hills on CDBL. We were inside once and couldn’t crack the lord’s room, and we were trying to get through the outer for two hours after that. By the end of the night one of my guildies suggested that we just leave the kitten place alone for a little while so all the YB would get bored and leave.

I couldn’t pick out which particular guilds it was holding the keep, seemed like a conglomeration, but you were more persistent than I. And I’m pretty persistent. But that’s an interesting (and vulnerable) new treb placement on the bridge. It took me an hour and a half to find a spot outside of its’ range that could barely splash the wall.

Several posts back, when I was all positive about how it was alright that we lost Hills because we still did a good job defending Bay, etc. etc… I’d like to have some choice words with that version of myself.

That’s pretty despicable.

That is the email I got, the question is, I am okay? I got unbanned within 3 hours and my replys back from the support team made no sense at all. They weren’t even about what I asked.

Is there something I need to do? Should I be worried?

I was banned last night at 8pm permanently for selling gold for real life money it said. Which I know is untrue, I sent in a ticket and asked why and told them every gold thing I’ve done within the past day. I was unbanned 3 hours later. Now I keep asking questions and I get bizarre responses like this….

Okay, my account just got banned for buying gold, which I know is not real. I think I was flagged for purchasing gems and transfering them to gold to send to my wife, which I’ve done on multiple occasions. My wife’s account email is ___________ – she has 4 level 80s and a level 22. We are both sitting side by side together and are currently in Peru, I am down here on vacation from the united states. She lives here. I have a full time job, and can’t farm like others so I put money in from time to time to help boost our characters up.

My account’s email is ____________ – I also have around 45-55g in the guild bank as well, and around 20ish on my character.

Did I do something wrong that I dont know of? Please get back to me. I am kind of disappointed that this happened on my vacation.

The people who did defend are mostly not there anymore.
