Question for you. Were you there for Kaineng’s rise up to the leet tiers or did you just bandwagon after they got up there? Im guessing the latter. What if everyone on Kaineng back in the day had your failed logic and just transferred servers because that was the “smart” thing to do instead of working your way up? Guess you would be playing on some other server.
I am not sure if you are putting this out there as some sort of recruitment tool or you just think you are all that but you are way off base.

Oh no. I actually think there are some very good players in lower tiers. In fact I won’t be surprised if individual players skills is slightly higher in lower tiers. However as the zerg gets bigger you need organization. It is the organization, not individual player skills, that wins the day.

Higher tier wvw is not a mindless zerg feast like many believed. A server that just mindlessly zergs won’t survive up there for long.

I personally find team organization and teamwork more entertaining than individual skills. That’s why I like higher tiers more.

The next thing is the scale of battle. Even in tier 2 we get our fair share of 10vs10 and 20vs20 battles. However those 60vs60 battles does happen and when they do it is epic (see my video).

In lower tiers the battles are always 10vs10 or 20vs20. Yes those are fun too but you guys are missing a whole variety of large scale battles because they rarely happens in lower tiers. I cannot prove to you that 60vs60 battles are fun. You have to test that out for yourself.

You blatently havent played in a tier lower than 4! As for me, i went from the very top of the EU ladder, of which i loved every minute of it until the “blobs” of deso and viz started appearing, then came the lag.. Furthermore the free transfers screwed us then came the queues at 4 hours +.

As such we transferred off and are in T7, below is a list of what we get:

1. No blob
2. No queue (even during primetime)
3. No lag
4. Excellent community (TS for whole alliance)

I think the question is if your a hardcore wvwer why WOULDNT you want to go below tier 4?

Good suggestion. Might as well change the name of the mode to Guild vs Guild then as pugs will become obsolete.

Zerging is part of WvW, deal with it. Also I’ve seen multiple guilds (RiOT, FIRE, etc) win battles when they were outnumbered 5:1. So yes, it’s possible to beat a zerg with a small group if it’s well coordinated.

By no means am I saying RoF doesn’t “blob” I know we do this is what it is like in the lower tiers I’m afraid so until you get RoS higher up the tiers this is what you’ll have to put up with, I just don’t agree with you moaning about it when your guys come wave after wave until eventually you come with about 10 randoms at your side to wipe 7 people, no dis-respect to your guild as I mentioned you have good players ones I was looking forward to a good even fight in the lord room with we had 1 upscaled person and you had about 7 people from your guild in there too would of been a good fight a shame to see so many others come too

Collecting screens of myself, wearing a tag, stomping enemy commanders is one of my guilty pleasures. There’s nothing to brag about, it doesn’t give any specific advantage, or anything like that, but it is indeed more fun for some reason.

The attitude presented on /t might also explain why you feel being ‘blobbed’ – we’ve heard of you quite a bit and we’re being cautious not to let you spread your wings too much, so to speak.
Nothing personal, or at least nothing negative – if anything, [RiOT] and [VcY] are seen as main threats in this matchup, so you can be proud of yourselves :p

I wanna thank [RIOT] for a great time at ROS Borderlands at the reset. We [MM] really enjoyed those fights. It seemed like you used the same strategy most of the time though. Veil and rush into us with melee, saw a lot of that on Seafarers, but remember that it’s not always a succeful strategy=) One of the moments I enjoyed the most at the reset was how we got into Garrison on your borderlands, seemed like we wouldn’t cap it at first.

Ye those fights were amazing! Couldnt believe we didnt check for mesmers after the fight! Our bad :/ But still was amazing to finally fight as a guild NOT as a blob

That would be awesome! But pretty much unfair for defenders lol. That’s like a portal attack directly to a wall xD. Open portal, blink to the wall, merge portals, and you get a siege tower from the 21st century xD

Well if they were to implement those, that would be epic. But they would have to move very slowly indeed and take alot of supply to build and have a max capacity!

TBH im part of a wvw guild, and im the main commander and i dont spend a penny on seige! Once a week we go EB jp (using mesmers) and get all members to drop seige from there using all alts etc! Now thats alot of seige i have to upgrade and stuff! Just a thought
