That is why we are sad……. we didnt had much resistant from Arbor as we hoped for.

If you expect resistance form Arbor in off prime.. well not a new.. we always weak in this period ( sometime more than other ofc ), but for the prime time i think that you have for your money.

I mean in general not that big of a resistance……dont get me wrong we had some good fights but never had that feeling i had when we faced Arbor a few times in the past…..i hope its the holidays that is causing this

I absolutely don’t care about desolation beating the kitten out of us at night or during day time while we’re at work. It’s Anet that chose to make those hours more important than the hours when the majority is online, I won’t blame players to use that to their advantage.
I have to admit that atm Desolation is a good server, nice to fight against and I wish you good luck against VS, my thoughts will be with you.

I am not on everyday so let me be more specific it was friday after reset and saturdayevening we were with 350+ in the lead with ease.

Last night Judge was with our normal smal team doing strikes at Arbon, after several hitts by desolation they got of smal island and later on puched back to spawn. Good teamwork and a golem got the red tower and the spirit of the desolation community was a puje joy.

Always fun to fight Arbor and BT this week
I went with my guild FG to BT border and i must say BT and Arbor good spirit you trebbed the wall @ Dawn’s Eyrie and even if we wiped you a millions times trying to get in……you keep coming bk and tried alot to counter our defence with siege and flanking or mesmers…..you finally got it after 4-5 hours …but halve of my guild went to sleep by then, thanks for the fun and ofcourse the lootbags. I must say to the guild Opt i liked your style good teamplay a guild that earned a compliment goodgame….this was on Saturday….sry for late reaction i only check forums when i am @ work hehe.

This is Felerina Dalure from (FG) and we had a blast in WvW, too bad we werent on that much becus of the holidays but we had some good fights againts Arbor we wiped them alot they wiped us a few times…..i saw some good coordination by some guilds….one attack that i remember was when we capped the Hills and the Arbor zerg came with 50+ and we were with 30+ and we were at the innergate near the vista and we used the chokepoint and we wiped the whole zerg…didnt even see the tags that is how fast we needed to react…..it was like red killl….more red more kills :P… got alot of lootbags i wanna thank you arbor for this….if you came from your lordsroom jumped over the wall you would have kitten us…..ahh well atleast good effort.

PS: i wanna welcome KAZ i spoke to your commander and i gave the respect i wanna have when i enter a new server:)

Funny to see NOX with arbor never thought they go there…but was fun against Arbor and BB….My guild forsakengamer (FG) came into BB border and it was completely blue(BB) we took halve of that border with good coordination with TEQ and GOD too bad people needed to loggout in a few hours. We lost Bay but we took it back in a few hours…good fights at bay with arbor and BB….but they had both 40+ especially BB was with a big zerg(i think 50+ atleast)……but overall good fight at the end Deso won cus we never give up hahaha…..but we also gave eachother badges so everybody wins.

Have fun this week cus we all do wel in fights….i still looking for a guild from each server that really blinks in fights against FG but none found yet…please try to run with smaller groups or with your guild only:)

I dont agree with the OP. I am an engineer and i kitten all…..that is how Arenaet designed all proffesions…got their ups and downs…..and i mean every class has them….i feel overpowered when i play a engineer but thats becus i feel i can play that one the best.
Only thing you can say is for WvW if you can do AOE damage to the max….you got a good lead in damage in groups.

I would suggest looking at Far Shiverpeaks (FS), they have dropped down the ranks due to numbers leaving for Blacktide (BT) & Desolation (Deso) but as I hear it they still have a good core & few ques.

Desolation has lost many players in the last 3 weeks, majority of them as a result of RUIN recruiting then moving to Blacktide. I’d like to extend an invitation to join Desolation. We are no longer a tier 1 server and are fighting hard to return to tier 2 although we’ll be spending another week or two in tier 3.

Contrary to popular belief we have a relatively small core WvW population often having to jump borderlands to be as strategic as possible. We’re used to fighting with the outmanned buff and we as a server never give up. We seldomly have queues and when we do they last no longer than 20 minutes.

OP you and by extension the members of your alliance are welcome to join Desolation who would be extremely happy to have some more WvW players on the server!

To add this with hopping to diffrent borderlands just to def what we capped is one of the things we do with good communication;)

Now i can tell you that we dont have big ques(max of 1-2mins) and sometimes we need to leave one Borderland empty/outmannend becus we dont have the manpower to keep all borders covered. So your guild or a few guilds extra for support would be awesome. We are a server that after a big hit with guilds leaving us….we were sinking like a freaking titanicship…..now we are building up and the people of Desolation are becoming a brotherhood all working together to make a new start. In this match it was good to see some new faces to smash(little joke). I like how the miller dont care if they die, they just run into you with 30+ people …was a tough fight that you gave us.
One guild that i notice was BOTS they had some more people then my guild (FG) was at the north supplycamp and we had a fight of 20mins or so clashing into eachother with our numbers….Finally we won but you gave us all you got and we needed to res incombat to keep our numbers high:)

PS: For the guilds on Deso i got so much respect how we are still here together fighting like freaking Legends against all odds…….We should change our Alliance to Brotherhood of Legends

We’re in the same boat. We don’t want to grow large just so that we can field constantly. We’re a core group at heart, we’ve always prided ourself on being close-knit.

We’ll be staying on Deso through thick and thin. Historically however we’ve been very quiet, rarely reaching out to others. We have commanders, we just don’t run with them turned on often (as it attracts Deso randoms to the specific things we’re doing). While we won’t be joining community TS servers all that much, we are going to reach out to other guilds and co-ordinate better.

The smaller guilds of Desolation are strong, focused and capable of great things.

So, i’m Amayasu in game; Leader of [Judge]. Osicat, Cosmic Massacre, Meatun and Emotek are all officers. Say hi some time, we’ll do the same. If you need backup, we’re available.

I also heard some good things about your guild, there is another guild with your style…tight group of 5-10 and go for camps or switch to def where it is needed…..if you have the time try to contact them….Guildtag (TEQ)…can only imagine what you both can do together. I just had the pleasure to have them with me alot and we wiped zerg of 30+ when we were with 15+ together. Normally i run with my guild (FG) and lead the pugs in a borderland to make them usefull hehe….max numbers we bring is always around 15-20(own guild). But we definitely share the same thing on Deso……..just check the movie 300

haha the flamers are out in force i see. Well nvm even though its been tough I’ve had fun this week. We can all make excuses, but at the end of the day Deso has just not turned up this week.

Having said that our guild has put out as much people as we can every day every evening and every night. As have Jug, Exg, Tsl and Fluf. Other guilds have also made a good effort namely FG, Gt, Gp, GOD, Unit sorry for any i missed any.

I don’t accept comments that we are crumbling, we are actaully doing just the best we can. Admittedly that is not good enough for tier 2. But to say we are a tier 5/6 server well whatever.

Sitting here and thinking how happy I am I play at Desolation, yes ofc last weeks been a weard couple with [Ruin] leaping in and out and some other drama. But now when things seems to settle its obious that what remain of our wvwvw organiced team is a core guilds of 300 style fighters. PPl who stayed on deso wvwvw teams even now and fight back to back when so many left is the true soldiers of the server.

I just want to salute the smal strike team guilds like [JUG] and the bigger backbone style [RON]. Its so fun play iwth you guys, so dedicated, skilled and as soon we starting to get higher numbers in the wvwvw we for sure witll start be a big threat again.

We on Judge will ever give up our behind lines harassment and for next weeks fight, bring it on.

Desolation doesn’t need to be told we have a fight on our hands, we fight full stop. Always have and always will despite being outmanned, despite being tired, despite the fact that we’re dropping down a tier.

Guild has about 40-50 players on at night that are willing to hop out to WvW. Haven’t fully agreed on transferring yet, but hypothetically this is what we’re looking for.

-Tier that is competitive and doesn’t have crazy queues(don’t think queues exist anymore!)
-Guilds on the server that are WvW focused like us
-A good fun community without super elitist guilds that think they own the server.
-People on the server stand their ground more than they run. Fighting spirit!

We’re organized with good leadership and know how to WvW. We also have relaxed personalities and out there to have fun while playing competitively. We’re good at splitting up or sticking together depending on what the situation on the map calls for. We’re also not looking to transfer into an already super competitive matchup to turn it into a landslide if there were 40 more coordinated people in US Prime-time. So ideally I suppose it would be the bottom server in one of the middle tier matchups. I hope that made some sense.

Our main playtime is 8pm-12am EST. If you guys think your server would fit with us, let me know and we’ll scout it up!

This sever cheats, this server only zergs, We are better but not enough numbers….

Heck look at the stickies even, the only thing we have is how to keep score, when the reset happens, and night capping… That is sad.

Day after day I hear both commanders and veterans of WvW complain about how the “Randoms” do not know how to play and hurt us. But yet we do not try to teach or put our knowledge out there.

I challenge us as a community to start adding some good threads on tactics, general gameplay and ways to help all of us get better.

People say they want more small groups. Make a thread telling of the synergies of classes for those, possible builds, strats to use. Let people know that the badge drop rates seem to be higher in a smaller group. Get people excited about trying it.

I would love more info on seige. Where to put trebs, what they can hit from each spot.

Once we put the work in and get those threads, we need to challenge ANET to acutually sticky something in here that will be helpful.

Just an observation, i think we are missing what this forum should be about.
