People complain when they aren’t having fun. Its a freaking video game, no matter how bad they are, its a legitimate gripe if they aren’t enjoying it.
But besides the general QQ, most people whoa are complaining have very specific criticisms about things, that everyone is just dismissing by asking them to L2P and to spec in toughness.

People are gonna tell you that you are supposed to use VOIP or at the very least ask your teammates what abilities they have so you guys can figure out what synergies you can use.
Ive found support pretty impossible unless your teammates know you very well, or you have VOIP. I need to announce what I’m doing before hand so people can take advantage of it, for example if I throw a small water healing spring, people can then proc off a bunch of heal affects off of it.
Fields last for such a ridiculous short time. I understand they would be a bit OP for pvp if everything lasted 5 + seconds, but it’s just dumb for PVE, its just not fun.
Why is that MMOs are the only genre of video games where being one shotted is acceptable? With the exception of side scrollers and first person shooters, where you can also 1-2 shot all enemies.
Imagine any other of your favorite games tuned like this, where your characters are super weak, and everything can roffle stomp you. Its gonna get boring fast.
Actually i find the dungeons sometimes pretty entertaining, some bosses are, after the group knows how to react, fun.
But the ability(almost neccesity because bosses are many times overtuned)
to run back to the fight after death is ruining everything for me.There is almost no feeling of accomplishment, it is completly possible to zerg a boss down without really mastering the encounter.
Also i ran in some bugs, events not starting, or fights that, after failing to defend an npc, can still finished anyway.
It ruins the immersion, but of course eliminates the need to tune an encounter well.
Bugs in an dungeon are not that bad, but the fact that there is no door to prevent players running back to the boss keeping the encounter going is just awful.
I think the idea is that you lose a lot of money just zerging, it’s a tradeoff. do it right without dying, or spend lots of money zerging.
To each his own I suppose. Coming from City of heroes, my only problem with the game is the feeling of utter insignificance and weakness compared to some ghost mob in a dungeon.
Id like to see difficulty ramped up adding lots of mobs or say mobs using siege equipment vs just putting small groups of one shotting minions.
Or, and I know this is mostly just asthetics, have 1 or 2 unique named hero mobs per group, with weaker minions. Its a bit of an immersion breaker to have generic ranger or warrior or whatever just whupping my sorry behind.
For the outdoors I do like how things scale, I generally don’t fight more than 1 or 2 things my level at a time, but when I team up with just one other, suddenly we can take on groups of 5 or more by working together.

That is a good idea, as long as the same content can be scaled and has appropriate rewards, didn’t think of that.
Just don’t want to feel that I only have a 20 man option if I want a specific reward for example.
Why not? Are you saying if 5 man’s are the only challenging content in the game then people who just want to PVE have no reason to join a guild?
Please no raids! Just would like a game that has an alternative with having to deal with 10-40 people to be able to progress, and do everything in the game.
Raids have their place, I enjoyed them immensly, but Im getting tired of having to pick who to play with based on how competent they are in a video game over wether I actually want to play and have fun with a friend.
