@Xillllix
This is one thing that really saddens me about how WvW has turned out. Never have I played an MMO with a combat system as engaging, fun, and challenging as guild wars’. I really enjoy sPvP, but I’ve had the most fun playing WvW, mainly in guild groups open field and in GvGs. And yet, the only real development to affect the serious WvW scene was bloodlust, which just gave random servers a buff to imbalance fair fights.
I’m not even asking for a huge WvW overhaul, I realize that Anet is focused almost entirely on PvE, and while I personally can’t stand all the living story stuff, I respect that many players love it. But is it really that unreasonable to give us a bug fix, or change the requirements for WvW achievements, or make OS instanced like EotM every now and then? Or even just tell us if it’s something you refuse to do! Surely Anet can see all the rage their top secret development/ignore timelines and playerbase policy has brought about, so just give us the 5 minute scoop on what’s going on, what may and may not be implemented, etc every month or two. Saying you are working too hard for that is just bull kitten. Do it on your lunch break for gods sake.
It’s really sad to me to see a game type with so much potential be so thoroughly ignored by the devs. As much as I love WvW, I’m starting to lose patience waiting for years to see any significant improvements. Even the easy fixes are brushed under the rug or take months and months to be implemented (WXP). And then when they add stuff like EotM I just get discouraged again. Do the WvW developers not play WvW? How could they possibly have thought that all of the falling deaths, PvE mobs, and ridiculous buffs would make for fun, fair WvW competition?
Throw us a bone here Anet, even vague hints at what you are and are not focusing on. That way if it turns out to be more EotM horse kitten we can quit wasting our time waiting.
This would really be what the GvG scene needs to bring it back to life. Lots of excellent ideas here, hopefully Anet will listen.
Been on HoD since launch and was really hoping to make it to T2. Seeing as that is not going to happen, looking for a hardcore WvW raiding guild on a T2 server (open to transfer). Rank 400, almost all played on guardian, also previous skill group experience. Teamspeak, builds not an issue, really focused on improving any way I can. Reply here or whisper Starkar in game. I play NA prime.
Thanks!

We are still looking for anyone interested in continuing or starting their WvW skill play career who plays the professions mentioned above, with an emphasis on guardians and elementalists.

Also important: While it varies from week to week, raid times are typically in the 3-9pm server time window.
ASAP Zerg is a small group of avid WvWers on Henge of Denravi. We are looking for experienced GWEN WvW players to join in periodic, LOW COMMITMENT guild raids. Our focus is entirely on team play and improving in fights against larger pug groups [we go for clips].
Ability to at least listen in on Teamspeak is required. Repping is only mandatory during raid and there is no associated time commitment. It is totally fine and even encouraged to be active in other guild(s) as well.
We are currently accepting guardian, warrior, elementalist, and necromancer professions with an emphasis on guardians.
If you are interested in joining, please reply here or contact one of the following players in-game for additional recruitment and build info:
Dharok the Ravenous (driver)

I ran through the Garnet Sanctum jumping puzzle yesterday and collected both the top and bottom halves of the Mistwrought key. I was able to unlock the vault, but the Enormous Mistwrought chest at the end cannot be unlocked. I returned today with the key halves and had the same problem. I have not done this jp before, but I have done the same one in other borderlands without issue.
