yeah i mean the perks of a winning server are great but i mean when there is nothing to cap or you are always winning its really a bit bland. Think im definitely going to transfer
“There are HoD players that get bored in WvW because they aren’t having any fun steamrolling. There are players on servers against HoD that aren’t having any fun because they can’t field the people nessecary to compete. This current WvW system is broken/infantile. This has nothing to do with your “fighting spirit” or whatever horrible energy drink you consume.
if this was true, then the people getting bored would be better off transferring to another server for more even fights, but we know that won’t happen because losing just isn’t an option.
it is unfortunate that the guilds on HoD will claims success at every turn, say that they planned it out to bring all these guilds in because its a tactic….. but when they do poorly they claim they couldn’t get any guildies in due to queues…. so it seems like all bases are covered
people like you are just looking for opportunities to flame and get other player defensive. You could say the same about any other guild.
Im seriously considering leaving HoD to join JQ ET or SBI maybe one of the servers that are not in the top tier just because the que times. Also i woke up this morning to a HoD +600 ET and SBI had +45/35.

Well, the good HoD players don’t respond to this, especially with stuff like saying “u mad?”
The good SBI/ET players don’t respond to this, because they know better than to complain and are trying to take stuff back in game.

So youre saying that nowhere in the world exists someone that is good at something and is arrogant about it? please realize what you just said. Also was it necessary to use pontificating? Clearly you know that 95% of people on this forum don’t know what this means. You can just say complaining is annoying. The funny thing is that you are complaining about people complaining. You’re smart right? Surely you can see what you just did.
Op has no idea what he’s talking about does he? HoD does night cap, HoD does have a larger player base, HoD did get beat over the weekend when the number of players was closer to even. Does that mean they’re bad, nah. Does it mean they are not particularly more skillful, yes, yes it does.
To think that the answer is, when all the other servers are full it will be even is really pretty dumb. MOST people would rather lose than wait 3 hours to get in. Only people such as the OP obsessed with his ego would put up with such an inconvenience to brag about his server. I’m glad they are group up on only a few servers, enjoy not playing but thinking you are better.

I know we night cap i know we do everything that i listed its just old that its these same points over and over. Did you not read what i said about everything evening out? Does that seem like a boast to you?

When Hod does well its all about population imbalance, brb everyone in HoD sucks apparently.
How do you guys on ET and SBI explain all of the 24 hour matchups? I hope you guys remember that even during primetime for all of the servers HoD were 90% of the time leading in score at all times of the day. Read someones post in the huge QQ thread
I guess its normal that the top server gets flamed by the 2 under it.
Sure people are going to keep complaining but as more people buy gw2 HoD’s GROWTH WILL STOP because the server is full and the OTHER SERVERS WILL FILL UP. Dont expect changes instantly.
Honestly these threads need to stop, and start making threads that help make the game better.

also remember that you can have 2 sigils one on your warhorn one on the axe. however you cannot have 2 stacking sigils. Ex: you cannot have 2 sigils that stack 250 power or one sigil that stacks 250 power and another that stacks 250 precision. i learned that the hard way
the sigils i play around with i have like 3 different longbow/sortbows i usually went with the sigil of accuracy but recently ive tried other ones like the aoe fire one. With my offhand weapon i usually have the sigil of rage or something i cant remember what it was called but it add 10 power for every enemy you kill it stacks up to 25 so its +250 power. It ends when you get downed so if you get downed alot i wouldnt bother. with the berserker build you are going to be seriously glass canon however and have around 15k hp. so youre gonna have to learn when to use your heals and evades. IMO playing glass canon helps you become a better player
also for heals i highly recommend the healing spring heal as it removes conditions even freezing and im pretty sure it may remove cripple. Most people are unaware.
Get full berserkers set as well as ruby ori trinkets and gems. Get ranger sigils then do 30/30/10 with axe/warhorn and longbow. Your crit damage shoukd be just under 100 around 98 with an unbuffed crit chance of 59-60% with rampage as one as elite and warhorn you should be able to maintain 80% crit chance most of the time and at max range you will hit for trucks. Your 3 utility skills depends on where you are using it.
If youre going to wvw and you feel like you need an oh kitten button, get the stone signet and trait for the signets affect you perk. Go with 10% extra damage when full endurance as the first marksman trait.
everyone here obviously plays a mesmer. You’re not going to get a positive response even though what you say is generally true. People that say its about skill and timing are right. You can beat a mesmer with timing. They fail to realize that you can do it with any other class as well. The mesmer just has more options in general. Dont even deny. if you dont agree you are just a terrible blind player.
yeah my setup does well in zergs or 1v1 i tend to go into enemy territory and just snipe dolyaks or flag points. more enjoyable playin guerilla warfare
yes my glass canon build i am running at just above 15k unbuffed and under 1000 toughness. but you can burst down anything. Just play smart and pick your fights. Once in a while you do get kittened but its not often
Derek, I would love to see your setup – I have no clue how you are running around with 100 crit damage, the most I can put together with all exotics is 95, including 30 from 30 points in Skirmishing. What is your Power stat?
As well, to achieve 60% passive crit, you must be running around with 15k HP – which I think is a tad low – but if it works for you, cheers.
Currently with my build, I’m running with 2127 Power 3207 Attack (LB), 40% Crit, 90 Crit. Damage, 18k HP.
In SPvP, I run a completely different build, focused more on conditions and traps.
Are you forgetting your trinkets and back pieces? also yes i am running 100% glass canon. Of course im using signet of stone/ protect pet skill to give me a few seconds of immunity. Within those 6 second i am able to burst down 99% of players in wvw. Of course in spsp i run the traditional sb condi build. but imo if you have fast enough reflexes even as glass canon you dont die. people have to use quickening zephyr along with volley. volley is one of the most important skills in a 1v1 fight which many poeple dont realize. It adds a snare and if you place it right with a quickening zephyr it take less than 2 secs to cast. the second the opposing player gets out of the volley i usually knock them back into it then follow with rapid fire. Also you should be using #3 skill always. with warhorn buff i have 80% crit. Most people dont play a class optimally. You need to know whent o switch to warhorn and kite. use your axes slow use the #2 skill on the axe to add bleeds. its very simple
Longbows only become viable with high tier gear. for example i have 60% passive crit unbuffed and 100 crit damage. If you dont have the gear stick to sb and conditions
Longbow is viable in pve and wvw. You need to stack crit damage along with precision and power. Essentially glass canon. I have done upwards of 4-5k crits in wvw. Although i do wish the damage penalty for being close didnt cut your damage in half like it does. Realistically it should be maybe 75% and the arrow speed on longbows should be a bit faster. At 1500 range no matter what if someone moves youre going to miss them and i feel this is kind of dumb if they are going to make the damage potential the highest at that range.
