Cool art! I like the first and third image poses, very mesmer-ish
Very neat sketch! Do you have a Deviant Art page?
Nice sylvari! I like his expression
That mask is looking really great! It’s always interesting seeing these kind of progress works. Keep on posting them!
Cool to see you posting your stuff here Awesome work, man!
I still really like that concept of the Lion’s Arch fountain going on a rampage.
Related to #18:
You can leave at the end of PvP match by going to the PvP panel in your Hero menu. There will be a Leave the Mists button.
If you wait too long after the end of a match you will automatically be sent to a new match.
1 Bronze coin
Experience.png Experience (10% of character’s current level)
1 Black Lion Key or 3 Basic Transmutation Stones
Thanks for confirming the 1 Bronze coin. I wondered if that was a bug, the XP and the Key/Stones are such nice rewards it seemed weird getting a single bronze. It’s like giving you a nice gift card then tossing you a penny lol
I don’t have an issue with a lack of quivers the same way I don’t have an issue with the lack of any loading animation for guns. It’s like not worrying about how your character can carry a full suit of platemail and 10 greatswords in their backpack and still run around and jump
If you’re in Metrica, you chose an asura which shows you are a person of discerning taste and intelligence, at least that’s what an asura would tell you
Check the map and find the telescope icon that will be a Scout who will show you an overview of the zone. They will also have a mark over their head and wave to you.
(Go to any NPCs that wave at you, that’s not just flavor behavior, they usually are offering info or something.)
The hearts are easy to find but they are not the core of the game. Dynamic Events are the core of the open world PvE content and you will only find those by exploring and stumbling across them. Look for orange markings on your maps or head toward flocks of players in a fight, they can always use your help.
There’s no kill stealing and treasure is shared so feel free to join in anytime. Explore, play at your own pace is my personal advice.
Check out PvP if you feel up to it, but read the Wiki or in-game hints about that. There’s a lot to learn with this game, and a bit of reading will go a long way.
This was an awesome idea and very well done!
I already posted comments on the Youtube page about how I thought just seeing the song without the sylvari intro was more dramatic, but I can see how it could work either way.
Glad to hear you’re considering working on a ‘player-free’ version. Showing other players running in some scenes does make the scene seem more online, but the motion draws the eye and I think the effect of the music and the vista along with your editing is all the video needs.
Nice banners. Very striking.
How awesome you could get Felicia Day to sign that art!
Very nice work.
Nice animation! Very fitting for a charr.
You should do ones for the other races
Be glad that you’ve probably played this game for about 200 hours now. That’s 200 hours, less than a buck an hour for entertainment!
I have to go along with this viewpoint. It’s true MMOs are traditionally expected to last longer than single player games but those are sub-based games.
I look at GW2 more like a single player game purchase and there’s a bunch more content than a typical single player game IMO. And that’s not counting the future updates and ongoing PvP/WvW.

Looks like a fun comic! Is there any background info on the main character? I always like hearing that stuff.

Hello Everyone! Some of you may have already seen the webcomic I started over on Guild Wars 2 Guru called Dynamic Events. I’m going to be posting updates here as well. The comic started two years ago so there are a good number of them if you’d like to read through all of them all in one sitting.
Below are the first 12 comics. The rest can be viewed at my Deviant Art site (since I don’t think the mods would want me attaching all of the back comics on this opening post). They start on this page:

Russian Translations
I switched to B&W this year so I could get them out more easily and a cool GW2 fan in Russia named Roman147 began coloring them while an equally cool GW2 fan named Deadkid translated them into Russian! (Spaceeba to Roman147 and Deadkid!)

I believe the TP shows how much profit you’ve made on particular items, isn’t there is an overall profit score? I could have sworn I saw it.
Also remember there is a hidden TP fee of 10%. The fee is removed from your profit score.
I haven’t had any issue buying gems. I’ve been using Paypal and it’s worked fine.
Thank you ArenaNet.
For stealing all my free time!!!!! /shakes fist at sky
Seriously though, really awesome game Stunningly beautiful, entertaining storylines and fun combat.

I’m using Chrome and I’ve posted a double quote that appears like this in the editor (I changed the parenthesis to round ones so it wouldn’t be formatted):
(quote=16774;donttread.9304:)(quote=14333;Rand Silk.2738:) Careful, you lose your minis. (/quote)
What are minis?
(/quote)
But on the forum both quotes are listed as being Rand Silk’s.
Remember to use your Function keys in combat, not just your skill bar. The defining mechanics of your profession are likely in the Function keys.
Careful, you lose your minis.
What are minis?
Miniatures. Little, non-combat pets you can collect.
Weird, the forum isn’t properly showing quotes. When I edit it says Donttread, not Rand Silk twice.
